Hotels near Tamaraw Fallls, Puerto Galera

Huge disappointment. I had selected this hotel to take advantage of its immediate seaside location. But the strange layout of the hotel means that most of the rooms overlook the corridor, requiring the curtains, which are blackout curtains, to be closed. Result: from a super bright room with possibly a sea view that you were hoping for, you find yourself in a completely dark room. There is therefore no point in being by the sea. (Photos taken with the door open and curtains open). The general quality of the hotel is average, and the prices charged are therefore excessive. Room size ok, but: - no chair or table available. You only have your bed to sit on, eat, work,... - noisy air conditioning, which you therefore cannot leave running at night if you want to sleep properly. - wardrobe, but no coat rack in it. - a refrigerator, but which does not get cold, or even heats up. - no shower gel available in the shower No problem with cleanliness. Good quality bedding also. Simple breakfast, served on a plate. Not a hotel where I will return and which I do not necessarily recommend either.

They are very friendly and the room is clean.Also it's nearly all like groceries, restaurant and bar, and market 😀

I visited from Japan with my daughter! We are not fluent in English, so we were very worried on the way to Puerto Galera and until we arrived at the hotel, but from the hotel, all the hotel staff helped us, so I was able to spend comfortably without any anxiety! The location, the activity, the food, the people, the dogs and the cats were all the best! There are very few Japanese people, but if you have a chance, I would like you to go to Puerto Galera from Japan to ♡ and the Edge Water Hotel!

Simply perfect staff, I have never seen such service in any hotel)) + You can always call reception from the hotel, and you can easily catch any in the city back + The beach is 5 steps away, especially if you take a room on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can walk barefoot from your room to the beach in a few steps + We only saw one or two couples occasionally from the guests and that's it, as if the hotel was just for us Cons: - [ ] I would like sun loungers on the beach and by the pool, where you can lie down (with an umbrella). Now they provide beach chairs, but you can't sit on them for long, and in principle, if you take a room not on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can only sit on beach chairs on the hotel grounds (upon request). This also needs to be improved) - [ ] The room is new, everything is nice, new, but there was no refrigerator, safe, wardrobe. Despite the fact that there is enough space in the room for all these amenities) - [ ] Breakfast is not a buffet, only 3 types, scrambled eggs with bacon, beef and pork. In principle, we are not picky, it is enough for us, but those who stay here for a longer time will go crazy from such a choice (but we found a very tasty cafe with breakfasts, though you need to walk a little, more on it below) - The hotel is on a steep descent, walking up the mountain is a bit of a sporting activity) but there is nothing near the hotel (except for 1 cafe in km Bayview, with the only normal coffee on the island (from a coffee machine) and the most delicious chicken sandwich in the world!!!) and so, only the road along which you can walk a little, and then there are already a lot of cars and serpentines, you will not be able to go along it, since there are no paths for people. Therefore, either sit in the hotel, or take a tuk-tuk and go to neighboring settlements, which costs from 300₽ to 600₽ depending on where you are going) And so everything is super, thanks to the owner

The Resort has a wonderful view which you can see the beachfront and swim right there. However it’s a rocky beach so better to bring aqua shoes. It’s very nice that you can see some fishes and corals. They have their own pool and beautiful garden that you can take pictures or just simply take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air. The staffs are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Their restaurant serves foods like Filipino, Italian, American that are quite good and convenient to just eat there. We couldn’t finish the pizza so the staff recommended to help us heat it up the next day. They also offer the tour around the attractions of Puerto Gallery by Tuk Tuk that you can explore the beauty of nature and get to know more about the people’s life here. In general, if you find a beautiful, relax and peaceful place to get away, this resort is a great choice. Will book again if we have a chance to go back here next time ❤️

We chose this place by reviews and for its location. When we arrived we had to sign an agreement with the property rules which are in abundance: from “no outside food or drinks at the property” to fines for stained towels and sheets. Though there are “shhh” signs everywhere I woke up both mornings of our stay because someone was walking and talking loudly right outside our door. The room is really small close to tiny, there’s no fridge (ok, that’s the type of room without one), the safe didn’t work but the friendly and helpful staff kindly stored our valuables in theirs. The place is beautifully located and the food is ok.

Номер просторный, отель в принципе чистый, хоть и все старенькое. Завтракт подают вкусные в соседнем кафе. На ресепшен персонал всегда помогает с вопросами. Минус отеля, что нет своей территории, бассейн находится в другом отеле, куда нужно идти через чужие дома. Пляжа рядом с отелем тоже нет. Мы были с байком, поэтому не было проблем ездить на пляж. В номере бывали муравьи. Самое плохое, что имеются проблемы с интернетом.

The hotel location is not perfect. But I liked the hotel atmosphere. The hotel is between Sabang and Palangan beach. Also you can go there by tricycle within 15 minutes (30 peso for person) or walk within 50 minutes. Also You should try the View Point restaurant near the hotel, which has amazing view. I think it would be fantastic if the hotel added breakfast, or sold alcohol, or offered small things like slippers and shampoo. I would be go to hotel if I ever come back.

I booked this room without breakfast. You can add an extra bed. It is suitable for a family. The location of the hotel is close to the town.
