Hotels near 500 Shaw Zentrum, Mandaluyong

I used to ignore those play areas at hotels, thinking it was silly for hotels to have them until i became a mom and badly needed a designated space for my child to play. It was clean, safe, bright and colorful. Play areas attendants were kind enough to turn off the screen upon request since my child was alone when we went there.

I booked this hotel mainly because of its proximity to Power Plant Mall, and it definitely delivered — it was just a short 5-minute drive away. The hotel itself was very hospitable, comfortable, clean, and efficient throughout my stay. Although I didn’t get the chance to try out the facilities, the overall experience was pleasant and hassle-free. One thing I really appreciated was the service. On one morning when I couldn’t make it to breakfast, the hotel kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for me instead, which was a thoughtful touch. The restaurant prices were also quite reasonable considering the convenience. If I return to Manila in the future, this hotel would definitely be one of my top choices. The only downside was that I had seen information stating the rooms came with a smart TV and Netflix access, but upon check-in, both the front desk and technician informed me this was no longer available. I ended up requesting an HDMI cable instead.

The place was nice and had a good view. However, some home essentials were missing, such as a pitcher and drinking water, and the refrigerator had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the stay was okay. Also, if you plan to use the pool, bring some extra cash, as it costs 500 per person.

The room was okay It just had a slight problem like the bathroom door is damaged, I don't know if it really doesn't have any appliances, even a small kettle, but all in all it's good, the staff is approachable, the security is good too, the view and ambiance is good too for the budget of it.

Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations. The room was not as clean as expected, and some amenities were not functioning properly. While the staff tried to assist, the overall experience could have been better. I hope management takes steps to improve the service.

Negatives; the staf has warned my GF about staines; to me was quite tude and inappropriate to both of us. Also they have this written in tooms as terms and conditions and not advertised online(if would have been I would’ve booked different). Pool was ok, mall shopping area close by and 7/11 at the entrance. They also had no drink in the room rule also not advertised online. Complete misleading on trip and online or abusive management. I feeel compelled to disclose as nover ever I had such restrictions for any booking. For this alone I found reason to warn on not to book this location

I had a decent stay at RedDoorz Boni. The location is convenient, especially if you need easy access to nearby shops, transport, and main roads. The room was simple but clean, with basic amenities that were enough for a short stay. Staff were polite and accommodating, and check-in was smooth. While the place isn’t luxurious, it’s good value for money if you’re looking for an affordable and practical option. Overall, a comfortable stay for budget travelers.

The owner and staff at the hostel are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist guests with any needs or questions. They are quick to respond, ensuring that any inquiries or requests are addressed in a timely manner. The cleanliness of the hostel is impressive; both the rooms and restrooms are meticulously sanitized, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all guests. Guests can enjoy a simple yet satisfying complimentary breakfast, which offers a pleasant start to the day. Additionally, the instructions provided by the staff are clear and precise, making it easy for guests to navigate their stay and take advantage of all the hostel has to offer.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, didnt get any make up room, didnt received any ameneties and water. All were just for the first day. Went personally to the reception to ask for ameneties like shampoo toothbrush, towel an bottled water, answer was they will send it to my room. Didnt received anything till the day for check out. I let it as it is, didnt complained or insist for my privileges. Bed and room is what matter most. Hope this wont happen to some people with short temper.

The bed is not clean, I had itchiness throughout my whole body and developed red spots (most likely due to bed bugs). The furnishing in the hotel is very very old, not like what u see in the pictures. Overall, for this price, I could’ve booked some place better. The only plus about this hotel is the location, it’s convenient to get to anywhere within central Manila
