"I stayed here alone. At first, I considered a dormitory, but I think a private room is better if you're a woman traveling solo. This place offers great value for money. It's definitely small, but having a fridge, hairdryer, and a private shower and toilet in the room was incredibly convenient. The only downside was a small gap between the door and the hallway, which let in quite a bit of noise. There was no microwave. The showerhead was fixed, and the water pressure wasn't super strong, but the hot water flowed consistently. The provided shampoo made my hair quite squeaky, so if that's a concern, you should bring your own. The hotel staff were also very pleasant. There was a gym available, so I could get a workout in. It's a hotel I'd definitely want to stay at again!"

"Stayed here for 11 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The location was very convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The room was cozy and provided everything I needed for a longer stay. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever assistance was needed. After staying here for nearly two weeks, it really started to feel like a home away from home. I checked out today and was actually a little sad to leave. Thank you for making my stay in Christchurch so enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city."

"Booked Ramada on Tuam Street because of proximity to CBD, Riverside Market and the Arts preccinct. Staff are very friendly, and followed up the 2 requests re my extended booking. Comfotable room and great linen. Very pleased with my stay, will be back👍😃 Re City: My first stayover visit since Easter 2011, after the 2nd EQ. Yes, many of the historic building have gone, but the city had a new vibrancy and great architecure! The lane ways remind me of Melbourne [ilved there for 20 years]. Great selection of food, and great coffee. Beautiful Christchurch!"

"This hotel is right next to the central bus station and connects to a super chic bar. You can quickly access your room using your phone by just clicking on the link the hotel sends you. Though it was a bit confusing to find my way when I first arrived, the staff were very patient and helpful. The hotel offers a fantastic variety of activities, with something different every day, and the common lounge area is spacious and comfortable."

"Overall was good. Although late check in but the receptions still gave a very clear instruction. We got the ground floor room, and the car may just parked infront of the room. Super convenient to move our luggage. The location also very close to downtown."

"The location is good. The room windows are quite old and the soundproofing is very poor. The music from some bar outside was very noisy at night, but it quieted down by midnight. The bathroom layout was a bit confusing; it took me a while to find things the first time. There were some small flying insects in the room, but they didn't bite. I booked this hotel for the convenience of taking my luggage to pick up the car the next day, as it's very close to the car rental company."

"It's a small apartment type apartment that's neither good nor bad. There is a lift, but opening the first door is quite heavy. There is a flat parking lot right in front of the apartment, but it is often full and difficult to get in and out. The room is barrier-free and has a toilet, shower, and a small sink for washing your hands. There is a kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave. You can't hear the voices from the next room very well, but you can hear the voices outside quite well. Overall, it's an average apartment."

"Location is very good, close to everywhere! Walking distance to city centre, restaurants, Riverside Market and Botanical Gardens. Very near to bus stop to Airport, bus no. 8. It’s convenience to have kitchens and lounge here. King room ensuite is a perfect and spacious room with attached bathroom and private balcony! Will sure come back again!"

"The apartments are right on the tram line, stop 1, so great for the tram tour and accessing shuttle for the gondola. There is a convenience store and cafe below. The room was clean and tidy but the bed was hard, there were noisy air ducts on the level below my window, and the room was soulless. The air con unit is positioned so can't walk round the bed properly. The floor (the 6th) also smelled of Indian cooking. I love Indian food but the after smell lingers and wasn't pleasant. The parking is also an issue. The site I used to book stated parking....yes, there is parking but you have to pre-book and still pay $25 a day! I specifically used filters to make sure the rental car would be safe but ended up using the pay and display right next door which had to be topped up every 12hrs. I was offered a permit for the following day but adding the $25 to what I was already paying, well, no way. If you want to be in the heart of the CBD then its perfect but don't expect any frills."
