Great
MM. SoA great hotel conveniently located directly across the international terminal. There is 24 hours reception and staff are friendly and professional. The room is very clean and the bedding and pillow are comfortable. It would have been even better if there were slippers and dental kit made available. There are various lounges, onsite restaurant and fitness room. Didn't get to use all the facilities, but maybe next time! If you need a short stay near the airport, this is worth a visit!
LLikehaiyangThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.
GGuest UserThe location is nice and the hotel is beautiful, but the service is a problem. The fire alarm button is located just above the lights switch on button in the room, so it is being accidentally triggered rather often. The evacuation in the middle of the night is not what one would enjoy on holidays or business trips. The dry cleaning is horrible. They completely ruined one of my blouses, and unfortunately, I have only noticed that when I came back home.
AAR mustafaI stayed at Auckland Harbour Suites for five days. Overall, the hotel offered a good location and comfortable facilities. However, I experienced an incident that I feel is important to share for the awareness of future guests.
On the third day of my stay, I noticed that my insulated winter pants (thermal trousers) were missing when I wanted to use them. My wife and I searched the entire room thoroughly, including under the bed sheets, but we could not locate the item. We reported the matter to the front desk, and they acknowledged the issue and informed us that they would look into it. I also mentioned that I was not accusing any staff member and that there was a possibility I might have misplaced it.
Despite continuing our search later that night, the item was still not found. The winter pants are quite bulky, padded, and lined with thick beige synthetic fur, making them easy to recognise and unlikely to be overlooked.
When we returned to our room the following day, we found that the winter pants had been placed on the dining table. I took photos as evidence. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed us that the item had been found under the bed sheet. I found this explanation difficult to believe, as the pants are large and easily recognizable. While I chose not to argue further, I strongly suspect that the item had been taken out of the room and later returned.
While I cannot determine exactly what happened and prove this without further evidence such as CCTV footage, I believe this incident serves as a reminder for guests to take extra care and be mindful of their personal belongings during their stay.
I hope the hotel management will take this matter seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests and to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future.
AAnonymous UserThe room itself is very old, the windows were also poorly cleaned. However the rest of the hotel is nice and updated including the spa and pool area. Overall it was a decent stay, however I would only go back for the spa and not stay there again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in good location, the room was spacious and comfortable. But the room door was so thin that we could hear someone outside talking on the corridors. One day we came back at 9pm exhaustedly from many adventure activities all day, and found out that our room hadn’t been made up, the towels hadn’t been changed and also the bedding, although we had put the “please make up my room” sign on. So disappointed
XXiaotuzidekuailetiantangThis hotel is located slightly north of Auckland city center and is an apartment-style hotel with relatively complete facilities. The rooms are equipped with a washing machine, microwave, oven, and electric stove, suitable for multi-day stays or those who want to save money and cook their own meals. The overall facilities are new and the conditions are good.
However, please pay special attention to the following points during check-in, sharing my own experiences to prevent future guests from encountering the same problems:
1️⃣ Purchase a SIM card that allows international calls and internet access.
2️⃣ Complete check-in in advance.
3️⃣ Fill in all names completely.
4️⃣ Save the hotel's backup email address.
Specifically, here are some points:
1️⃣ The front desk is not open 24 hours.
The hotel is unattended outside of working hours (such as at night). When I arrived at 6:30 pm, the front desk was already closed, and I could only contact staff through the contact number (international long-distance) left on the door. Therefore, it is recommended to confirm your arrival time in advance and try to arrive during working hours.
2️⃣ Online check-in must be completed in advance. The hotel will send an email in advance requesting you to fill in your check-in information. Please be sure to fill in the full names of all guests. Even if the names are registered with Ctrip, they won't be found if they aren't entered; only the names registered online will be searchable. I only filled in one guest's name, which caused the staff to be unable to match the order when they called to check in, affecting check-in. They insisted I confirm via email.
3️⃣ It's recommended to prepare a SIM card that can make international calls.
If you arrive outside of working hours, you need to call the phone provided at the entrance to contact staff. After I called myself, I also asked Ctrip for help, but they could only try. In the end, I had to contact the apartment and send the email myself. However, Ctrip was helpful and actively assisted. It's recommended to prepare a SIM card that can make international calls and access the internet for timely communication and email.
4️⃣ Keep an eye on the hotel's backup email address.
If you encounter problems with email communication, try contacting the hotel's booking email address (usually starting with reserve@, which is available on Ctrip). The response will be faster. The staff read me an email address over the phone, which was incorrect.
Overall, the hotel's facilities are good, but the check-in process needs to be prepared and confirmed in advance. We recommend that you complete all online procedures before departure and save the hotel's contact information to avoid affecting check-in when you arrive in the evening.
GGuest UserFunctional and souless, but a good location for Queenstown with plenty of car parking. The customer service was poor by the usually warm standard of NZ. The receptionist commented on how ”tired you look” Grrrr..who likes to be told that?! And the breakfast venue was so dire and overpriced ($25 each!) we went instead to a nearby woolworths complex with excellemt cafes instead.
Mmiky7239I stayed here for one night because I had an early flight the next day. They offer airport transfers, which is a great convenience for early morning travelers. The room was very spacious, and I slept soundly. For this price, with the added bonus of transfers, I was extremely satisfied. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance.
Hhuangbo2008Located opposite the Manukau bus station and train station, the transportation is convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and the kitchen can be used for cooking.
