"On the trip advisor website, it said payment WAS NOT TAKEN until ARRIVAL…and YET it was TAKEN, IMMEDIATLY!!! It said it was NONREFUNDABLE  AND a PENALTY FEE would APPLY for a CANCELLATION!!! Albeit a LAST minute EMERGENCY, we were COMING, it was STRESSFUL upon ARRIVAL! The Hotel STAFF..EXCELLENT! The Food….GOOD, but LIMITED Menu, Especially after the second night! The Airport Shuttle was Absolutely USELESS to us, because of LIMITED EARLY HOUR “service” and advice on how to access Christchurch Central…Poor! BUT the OVERALL Christchurch/New Zealand  Experience was…FANTASTIC,  We would HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE!!!!"

"The front desk clerk was very polite, she said she had worked in Hong Kong, and as soon as I heard my accent, I was estimated to be from Hong Kong. The hotel is only about ten minutes drive from the Chinese supermarket Sanshang Supermarket. There are many Chinese restaurants near the supermarket."

"HoteI had a great stay at this hotel. It is newly built and conveniently located near the airport, which made it very easy and convenient for us. There aren’t many other hotels nearby, and the nearest ones are about a 15-minute walk away. However, this wasn’t a problem because the hotel itself has a beautiful and clean restaurant. The food was also quite good, so we were able to enjoy a satisfying meal without having to go outside. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient, especially because of its location near the airport. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place to stay near the airport."

"Sudima Hotel Christchurch was an absolutely excellent choice during my trip to New Zealand's South Island. What impressed me most was the clean and modern interior design that greeted me as soon as I entered the room. The fresh and fluffy bedding allowed me to perfectly unwind from the fatigue of travel. The warm and friendly service from the staff made for a pleasant experience throughout my stay. From check-in to guidance on local attractions, their thoughtful consideration made me feel truly valued. Furthermore, the quality of both breakfast and other meals offered at the hotel's restaurant was superb, ensuring satisfying dining experiences. In terms of location, it boasts excellent accessibility to Christchurch city center and major tourist spots, as well as convenient transportation to and from the airport, making itinerary management very easy. With impeccable cleanliness, friendly service, and a superb location, there was nothing lacking at this accommodation. I would not hesitate to choose it again for my next visit to Christchurch."

"The preferred motel is really convenient to go out, the landlord is very good, and there is a cute puppy. The room is clean and the stove is very complete. It takes only5-6 minutes to take a taxi to the airport. It is also very convenient to go to the city. It is about 10 minutes drive from the nearby Chinese restaurants and supermarkets! I will choose this next time I come to New Zealand."

"The room was quite clean and not far from the airport, just a few hundred meters. There's a KFC and a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The amenities were a bit lacking, though; there was no kettle or anything like that."

"We arrived late at night on our first day, and after collecting our luggage, I called, and they responded very quickly. Within a minute or two of us finding Gate 2, the car arrived. Since it was so late, the driver even handled the check-in process for us, which was incredibly convenient. The next day, we had arranged to pick up our rental car and asked if they could drop us directly at the car rental company (I had originally booked a service where the rental company would pick us up from the airport). They readily agreed! We booked a one-bedroom suite, and while it looked a bit basic, it was very spacious and clean, so that was perfectly fine. _The hotel's restaurant was also good; we had one breakfast and one dinner there. Highly recommend for transit travelers."

"The hotel environment and facilities are very new and clean. It's located right next to the airport, just a few minutes' walk away, which is super convenient for travelers catching a 6 AM flight, eliminating any transportation worries. Also, because we were concerned our rental car wouldn't have enough space for all our luggage, I emailed the hotel to ask if we could store our bags a few days before our check-in when we arrived in Christchurch, and then pick them up when we officially checked in days later. The hotel quickly replied by email, confirming it was possible and free of charge. They even arranged for my family to stay in the adjacent room for easier care. This was truly fantastic! 😀"

"Christchurch truly lives up to its reputation as a garden city; the hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of all attractions and close to entertainment venues. The only downside was that it was the first hotel I encountered that handed me an invoice at 2 AM! 🫨"

"Very good homestay, the host is very thoughtful. The house is clean and tidy, and the facilities are perfect. The location is only ten minutes drive from the airport, very close, but almost no noise can be heard. The breakfast is very rich and the cake is very delicious. The key is that the bed and quilt are very comfortable, and it is really a rare good night's sleep here. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Christchurch. Everything is perfect in this place. It's just ten mins drove to the airport but you can bearly hear the noise in the house. Everything in the house is clean, tidy and very much home alike. The breakfast was well prepared and the cakes were just delicious. Above all, the bed and duvet was sooooo comfortable that I had the best sleep in my whole trip! I would definitely stay here if I came to Christchurch again!"
