"It is more like a smart hostel so not there were not many people helping, but our CityHost Jed was very helpful and helped us with our check-in. The facilities were very clean and complete with everything one would need for a stay, including towels, shampoo and even a bath robe was provided. It was worth the money and would definitely stay there again!"

"We only stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights – we were short on time, so we only picked the most interesting cities to explore. On the plus side: it was clean, comfortable, had a large and cozy bed, and pretty much everything you'd need. However, the lack of slippers was really noticeable. As for the negatives: like many large hotels, they have a paid system for early check-in and extra hours. But the most unpleasant thing was being made to wait two hours upon arrival, under the pretext that 'the room wasn't ready yet.' After a long and tiring journey, such a wait is a real test of patience. During our stay, there was noisy construction outside our window, which would definitely wake you up early in the morning."

"I booked quite last minute so quite an expensive stay but still good value especially taking into account the wide choice and excellent continental breakfast and a free drink as I am an IHG member. Checking in staff patient and helpful which is always appreciated as an older woman travelling solo! Well located near the main station in walking distance but also tram stops practically outside the entrance (if your case is heavy as mine was) and you can pay by swiping your debit card on/off as you do now on the tube -just so easy to do. The shop in reception was well stacked with a good variety of items which were more expensive but you’re paying for the convenience. The room was great and the air conditioning a real blessing in the heatwave. I’d definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it to others especially solo travellers. I felt very safe there."

"Great little hotel round the corner from the train station. The rooms were basic and compact but really well designed and had everything you need. No tv or kettle in room but hot water and lemon water provided plus good free WiFi from streaming. The staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this place for a budget friendly stay in Rotterdam."

"The Hostel was pretty good, the only downside really was the bed, since there's bunk beds, the space between the bed under and the bed above is really tiny, I hit my head 4 times in row at night, couldn't really sleep well after I hit my head bc sometimes I wake up from the heat sicne the ac was not working properly even though it seems that it send a bit of air, it's not enough to keep the room cool. Otherwise everything was alright."

"What a pleasant stay. The staff were excellent from check-in through to check-out, and the room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a fantastic area, close to the Markthal and Cube Houses, with plenty to see and explore within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again when visiting the area."

"This hotel is a great choice for business trips to Rotterdam. It's centrally located with lots of shops nearby. Both the bathroom and the room itself were quite comfortable. Being so close to the train station means you won't be rushing to catch a train to Amsterdam for your flight!"

"I loved everything this hotel is trying to do which is why I booked it - and I wasn’t disappointed! The hotel is comfy, well appointed and the level of thought in the sustainable construction and running of the hotel is next level. The room was well designed and laid out particularly the gold back bathroom door. For breakfast there is the extensive menu which at €18 is not cheap (and in my mind should include a barista coffee), or the more price conscious barista coffee and a pastry for €5.50. My only disappointment was that some of the staff were quite offhand, scowling and sighing if you asked a question, and talking negatively about other guests in front of me (a guest). Training will resolve this …"
