"The hotel staff was very unfriendly. The room was not the one we had requested, and we requested either a change of room or, if a change was not possible, an additional reservation, but neither of these requests were accommodated. The problem seemed to be due to an error in the room reservation system, but I was surprised at how unfriendly the staff was."

"What a great little spot. My room was spacious, the welcome warm (the receptionist gave me all the ins and outs is the city. Including some personal restaurant tips. The hotel is right of Chinatown. And walking distance to the city center. My room also opened up to a little courtyard! A great spot for a morning coffee. Bonus! I even got walked up to my room! Fantastic old school hospitality!"

"I stayed solo at Ibis Den Haag City Centre for 3 days and 2 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring The Hague, with shops, restaurants, and public transport all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable for a short solo stay. The hotel also felt safe and well organized. One downside was that the bathroom was quite small, which made it a bit cramped. Additionally, the shower drain took a long time to clear, causing water to build up during showers. Aside from that, the stay was comfortable and good value for the location. Overall, a convenient and decent option for a short stay in The Hague."

"After a successful check-in at the hotel. We went to our room. It was clean and just like the pictures of the hotel. We had a great stay."

"Pros: Room was clean enough upon arrival. They provide water and some snacks at the lobby free of charge. Hotel also has some events. Cons: Sofa bed was super creaky, steamer didn’t work and had to change it 3 times until we finally got one that worked, house keeping did not clear the trash properly and used creamer satches remained on the tray and coffee/ tea pods were not topped up. Beds were made but our PJ were left all over the beds & unfolded too. Staff are not very friendly nor helpful. Arrived in the pouring rain with 2 big luggages and staff stared at me from the desk instead of assisting me etc. Overall ok for a quick stay but otherwise wouldn’t recommend."

"This isn't like a typical room for 6 or 10 people; instead, an entire floor is dedicated to capsule beds. There are curtains, so privacy isn't an issue. However, the washroom was quite crowded in the morning. Also, the lockers are small. Furthermore, the charging ports by the bed, with just one iPhone magnetic charger and one USB port, were a bit inconvenient. Be aware that there aren't many charging ports in the common areas either."

"Really like this hotel, just near the train station. I booked a loft room, and this layout is very novel for me. The table is facing the attic window, and it is a beautiful city view to look out. However, it should be noted that the hotel elevator has one that can go to the 4th floor (attic floor), and the other can go to the 3rd floor, so sometimes you need to go to the 3rd floor and then climb the stairs to the 4th floor. It is best for passengers with large luggage not to choose the attic room."

The breakfast is buffet style, although the choices were a bit limited.
