Hotels near Sky Casino, Genting Highlands

We have stayed in this skyworlds hotel before when it was named as theme park hotel. Basically it is a 3 star hotel meant for families. So do not expect high service standards or amenities like a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Best thing about this hotel is next to the theme park and quick access to sky avenue where the main centre of genting highland. Also very close to food outlets and restaurants. As the hotel is near the road, expect vehicle noises throughout the day and night. Also close to the cable car station.

I had a wonderful stay in Antara by Cobnb. Would definitely repeat and I highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in Genting Highlands to book this property. View is breathtaking, panoramic and unblocked, you’ll never get bored of. From my unit balcony, I could see the ice age roller coaster @ Genting Skyworlds Theme Park, cable car, chin swee temple, the curvy roads, other attractions in Genting and Kuala Lumpur city. Love that clouds are at eye-level, and fogs will come and go. In terms of amenities, since I got free upgrade to 3-bedrooms unit, it was equipped with kitchen utensils (pot, pans, knife, scissors, peeler, forks and spoons, chopsticks, plates, bowls, saucers, teapot, cups, glasses, jar), microwave, electric kettle, oven, refrigerator, induction cooker, iron and ironboard, hair dryer. TV, airconds and ceiling fans are available at living room and every bedroom. There’s also jacuzzi at the balcony. The interior is luxurious, clean and modern which I love so much. High-speed wifi is available too. To note, the amenities provided by Cobnb is of high quality!!

Stay on: 1st May-3rd May'26#rm4641. The stay had its ups and downs. The biggest drawback was the bathroom — it was extremely small, uncomfortable, and lacked even basic space to change clothes. There was only a single hook outside the bathroom to hang clothing, which made things quite inconvenient. The room view was also disappointing, facing a concrete canopy slab that felt unattractive. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient, which helped make up for some of the shortcomings. Unfortunately, there were no better room options available at the time of booking, so we had to settle for the standard room. Overall, not the most comfortable stay in terms of room quality, but the great location helped balance the experience.

The view here is really beautiful — I was lucky enough to get the carpet cloud view, memang cantik sangat especially from my room on the 43rd floor. The room itself was comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels quite premium. A few things can be improved though. Inside the room, the phone line was almost non-existent and the WiFi was quite weak/slow. Another confusing part is the lift area — once you come out from the elevator, there’s no proper signage or directory showing whether your room is on the left or right side, and no room number guide on each floor, so it can be quite confusing at first. Parking-wise I can’t comment much since I used the valet service, which was convenient. Breakfast was okay with quite a lot of choices. If you’re paying during walk-in, it’s around RM80 per person. Overall, still a nice stay mainly because of the amazing view and cool weather.

The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The view from the room was nice. The hotel was near with genting skyworld while need to walk around 10 to 15 minutes through the shopping area to get to the indoor theme park. The parking was not included. You need to pay max RM11 parking for a day. Breakfast buffet was so satisfying.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and proactive. these were only minor inconveniences - the location being slightly difficult to access and the room a bit hard to find, everything else went well. The room also offers a nice view—.The room was clean and well-organized, reflecting good housekeeping standards and attention to detail.

Overall, the stay was comfortable with a nice environment and pleasant view. The unit is modern, clean, and well-designed, making it a relaxing place to stay. The living area and bedroom were cozy, and everything felt quite new. The unit comes with 2 bathrooms (with shower) and 1 additional toilet, which is very convenient for groups. Basic amenities like shampoo and bathroom sets were provided. One downside was the jacuzzi, which takes quite a long time to heat up. We had to wait until the next morning for the water to become properly hot, so it’s not suitable if you plan to use it immediately. There are a few F&B outlets downstairs, making it easy to get food nearby. The parking fee was confusing — we were charged RM20 even though the signboard showed RM10. We parked around 2:30 PM and checked out at 10 AM the next day, so clearer pricing would help. Another issue was transport. It was not convenient — we tried booking Grab for about 10 minutes, but no drivers accepted our ride from Antara to First World. Overall: Comfortable stay with good environment and facilities, but improvements needed for jacuzzi heating, parking clarity, and transport accessibility.

Overall, my stay was pleasant and comfortable. The unit was clean and well-maintained, and the place itself feels modern and decent. Amenities are sufficient for a short stay, and everything worked as expected. Location-wise, it’s actually fine. While it’s not directly inside the main Genting area, I had no issues getting around because there is a shuttle bus provided to Resorts World Genting, which makes access convenient. Once you factor that in, the location works well. Service was okay, nothing exceptional, but smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a good option if you want a comfortable stay near Genting without paying premium hotel prices. I would consider staying again.

One of the best hotels that I stay at is Genting, The service was nice and easy to check in, I just have to go to the mailbox and take one access card. Before entering the security guard will guide us where to access and be so friendly. When I enter the lift. No need to press because it might not appear your number just scan and lift will automatically go to your floor. If they can provide more plastic garbage for those staying 2 nights will be easy for us. Other than that, nice view. Comfortable bed and provide cookware too so it's so convenient for those who want to cook. I will definitely be coming back when I come to Genting Highland.
