Hotels near Kuah Jetty, Langkawi

Very fast chk in, n staff give me a quiet room as I requested and on the Aircon for me , appreciate the staff efficient chk in. I would like this opportunity and to thank the front counter , and house keeping in 11 floor. The room is a bit dated , but they maintain in a v good shape, toilet, hot water , tv, hair dryer all function well. Bfast is good as other 4 star hotel, salad ,nasi lemak, porridge, egg station, local coffee n coffee machine all got. 1 type of their homemade bread is fantastic. Their service n staff make my stay v memorible and will pick bayview Langkawi when I return to langkawi later. The food pic is taking from nearby famous rest, Wonderland restaurant.

Absolutely amazing! You can watch the sunset, which is incredibly beautiful. Plus, it's super convenient for dining as it's close to the night market. The service is also excellent, and the restaurant food is very good; they clear the tables promptly.

Online reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free.

Hotel is on the older side. Rooms are spacious, and affordable for 2 connecting rooms. Cleanliness is passable. Flooring, ceilings, skirting, and towels are worn. Breakfast is basic. There aren't really eateries within comfortable walking distance. Langkawi roads not designed for walking - lack of pavements & rather dark at night - fortunately Grab is relatively inexpensive for us.

We stayed here for one night transit before leaving early morning to koh li pe from jetty kuah.this is not our first time here.i must say that this is an amazing place to stay in langkawi especially if you are looking for a hotel in kuah.the staffs are all friendly,the room is clean.breakfast as always-great array of local dishes.will definitely choose this hotel again

The location is fantastic! Right next to the yacht marina, making it super convenient for sunset cruises – you just head downstairs and then straight back to the hotel to relax. Downstairs, there are shops, Japanese restaurants, cafes, and Malaysian food options. The room is spacious; our family room had two large queen-sized beds, and the decor is simple. Toiletries and disposable slippers are provided. The service was also excellent; my requests for a power adapter and late check-out were both easily accommodated. There are two things to note: you need to turn on a switch near the bathroom entrance for hot water when showering. My parents didn't realize this and ended up with cold showers, which I only discovered later. The breakfast view is unbeatable, overlooking the yacht marina, but the food selection is very limited. When we went down at 9:30 AM, there were only two tables of guests, including us. I'm not sure if it's because it's the off-season, but the breakfast left me a little disappointed with the Ramada brand.

⭐️ (Strongly Not Recommended) My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity. After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket. Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable. The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim. Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation. The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash. Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation. We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation. If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels. Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

I stayed at Signature by The Concept – formerly Chill Suites Langkawi, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Langkawi!

The room was seriously spacious, and the hotel has a strategic location right near Kuah Town which was good for what we needed. We got a king-size bed, and I loved that the room even came with a Jacuzzi and a dedicated little working area. Now, a big heads up: If you're a beach lover, this isn't your spot. This hotel is right in the town center. Think easy access to Dataran Helang (Eagle Square), malls, shops, and places to eat. It's great for exploring the town, but you'll have to travel to get your toes in the sand, Cenang will be the best place. On a side note, I actually felt a bit bad for the staff when we checked in. The woman on duty seemed to be doing absolutely everything by herself, covering the check-in desk and handling housekeeping duties. The hotel really needs to hire more people to help them out; she was working incredibly hard!
