"I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied. The location is excellent, with three night markets nearby. There's also a scooter rental shop right outside, making it super convenient to get around. The durian shop nearby is much cheaper than the ones in the art district. Plus, there's parking available on the ground floor. The service was great and very attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Penang."

"It was a breeze to book the hotel. Details were provided promptly to register yourself before they provide the passcodes to enter. Note that there is no staffs in the hotel. All communications are strictly via WhatsApp and email. Helped a Chinese national to contact the staffs as she has no WhatsApp account. So for foreigners, please note to get the registration done earlier to avoid not able to enter into hotel. Capsule is quite clean but has a bit of smell. Toilet is ok too. All in all, you get what you pay for."

"This hotel is still relatively new, and one of its unique features is that it occupies two separate buildings facing each other, rather than having all the rooms in a single building. One building contains the café, where breakfast is served, along with about eight guest rooms, while the other building is used exclusively for guest rooms and rises to three floors (or about two and a half floors). As noted by other guest reviews, there is no elevator. The wooden staircase is quite steep, so if you are travelling with large suitcases, the hotel recommends asking a staff member to help carry your luggage. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Some hotel amenities are not listed on Trip.com information, so you may need to contact the hotel directly for more detailed information. However, their responses are not always prompt. There were also a few inconsistencies between the information provided by Trip.com and the hotel. One example, Trip.com advises guests to notify the hotel one or two days before arrival if they require services such as early check-in, but the hotel did not provide any guidance regarding this. Most of the information guests need is only explained by the staff upon arrival. Breakfast is served from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, which is different from the schedule at most hotels. Although the menu is limited, the food is delicious and the portions are satisfying. Guests often wait in the café while their rooms are being prepared. If you need any additional room amenities or supplies, simply ask the hotel staff. They will show you a list of available items and provide whatever you request. Overall, this is a comfortable, clean, and modern hotel that offers excellent value for money. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Melmond Maison Hotel, and I especially appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the staff, particularly Sohanur Rohman, who was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. He truly served the guests wholeheartedly. One suggestion is, since there is only one chair that is for the dressing table, maybe the hotel can provide a backrest chair, so that guests who need to use the table for a fairly long period of time can lean back comfortably and avoid shoulder pain. "1st night due to late check-in after 10pm, when I ready to rest on bed already 12am midnight, then I found my body felt itchy and check the blanket and the bed sheet were stained and looks like didn't change, felt uncomfortable. Due to late night, I didn't call the hotelier to change all these, I have not choice but to were long pants and use the bath towel to cover my body and sleep. 2nd day morning complaint to the receptionist asked for change to new set. In the evening when I returned to the room, bed sheet and blanket already changed new set."

"This was my first time visiting George Town, Penang, and I had a great experience staying at White Mansion Georgetown. The self check-in process was simple, convenient, and easy to follow. It was nice to be able to check in without waiting, and everything went smoothly. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was soft and comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The air conditioning worked very well, the Wi-Fi was stable, and the hot shower was excellent. The bathroom was spotless and smelled fresh, which made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the best things about this place is its location. It is right in the heart of George Town, so many famous attractions, cafés, local food stalls, restaurants, and convenience stores are just a short walk away. I didn't need to travel far to find delicious food or explore the city's beautiful streets and historic buildings. The accommodation was also peaceful and quiet, allowing me to relax after spending the day sightseeing. Everything I needed was provided, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Considering the location, cleanliness, and overall quality, I think it offers great value for money. I was very satisfied with my experience and have no regrets choosing to stay here. I would definitely recommend White Mansion Georgetown to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in Penang. "We arrived at 12 PM that day and went to the front desk to ask about checking in. The staff initially said check-in was at 3 PM, but shortly after, she arranged for our room to be ready by 1:30 PM. Thank you for the early arrangement! It was also great to have a TV for the kids."

"This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the location is great – not far from the scenic spots, just a 10-15 minute walk. The front desk service was excellent. I arrived at 1 PM and was able to check in immediately. The cleanliness was also good, and for a solo traveler like me, the room was super spacious. I was on the 9th floor and had a lovely sea view. Dining options are convenient too; the hotel has its own restaurant, but if you don't want to eat there, there's a food stall area about a 1-2 minute walk away, though the prices were a bit on the high side for me. The only downside for me was the limited parking, which is first-come, first-served. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd choose this hotel again next time."

"First off, the hotel lobby was incredibly clean and bright, and getting a taxi was super convenient. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room itself was clean and bright with an absolutely stunning view from the window – it truly exceeded our expectations! This is definitely a hotel we'd come back to. The bedding was also very comfortable, offering great value for money. Plus, the room even had a coffee machine and complimentary fruit, making it a fantastic hotel overall! With 6 elevators, you barely have to wait to go up or down, which is very fast! There are also plenty of great food options within walking distance of the hotel, and it's easy to go shopping nearby!"

"Great location and excellent stay! This hotel is in a fantastic location — walking distance to 1st Avenue Mall, Prangin Mall, Armenian Street, and much more. Lots of food within walking distance or a short Grab away. The property is new and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and responded promptly to our needs. Rooms were comfortable with good water pressure, and free water refills are available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. One small note: if your room faces Carnavron it can be a bit noisy, but it's tolerable and didn't affect our stay overall. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"I stay here for only 1 night, 2 nights before i’m at other hotel somewhere in Seberang Jaya, so i will compare with the previous one that have higher rate per night then this despite the location it’s almost out of nowhere. Compare from my previous stay, this one have amenities that quite Complete, but they just give you 1 for each items despite I’m 2 people. like 1 Brush, 1 Shaves, the body soap and shampoo it’s really small amount, the mineral water just 2x600ml. Well i don’t really know it’s possible to ask more or not, but there’s no information about it and since more at the outside, so im wouldn’t wasting my time to asked it. The jacuzzi itself seems not available anymore, i don’t know are we able to use it or not, no information about it at all, bit disappointed. the room it self quite small, feels like in tokyo lodging, the theme inside it’s also dark burgundy that makes the feels more narrowed. the cleanest is good, totally fine for me, not perfect but there’s no such things that bothering me about the cleanest. The Bathroom quire unique, they have a small bucket and ladle with small chair, it’s very unique and the chair it’s really a game changer, i love it. But it would be better if only it have more partition like a curtain between bathroom and Toilet so the water doesn’t leak out. The bed it’s comfortable, the pillow it’s also comfortable, i got the room with a view of others building wall, well i got what i’ve got. Overall, for the price that i got, location that less then 500m from terminal Komtar timur, a lot of Restaurant arround, walkable to penang street art, Jettys, etc. this is really worth if u just find a good hotel for comfortable sleep and easy to get around. This stay 8.7/10 for this one night, would go back if it’s 1 night stay, i hope it would be better next time."
