"We stayed at Monsane Villa in Luang Prabang, and the location is absolutely unbeatable! It is right in the heart of the main street, right next to the night market and right across from it. The Royal Palace, Mount Phousi, and the morning market are all within a 3-minute walk. We can even watch the morning alms-giving ceremony right outside the hotel without having to wake up early. We must highly praise the staff for their warm and thoughtful service. The lady at the front desk and bar used to be a flight attendant, she is very beautiful and provided excellent service. She kindly helped us with our luggage and called a taxi to the waterfall. The housekeeper Auntie Ni, who cleans the rooms and bathrooms, is very careful and hardworking, keeping the rooms spotless. Both staff members are outstanding and deserve great recognition. We hope the owner can consider giving them a salary raise! The hotel serves fresh coffee and bread for breakfast, and there is also delicious Lanzhou noodles nearby. It is a century-old French colonial villa, perfect for taking photos. Communication at the front desk is easy and convenient. With such a great location in the city center, the price is very affordable. Staying here is absolutely the best choice for traveling in Luang Prabang!"

"My stay here was not great but at the same time, not terrible. I think the property would benefit from some maintenance, upgrading, and more thorough cleaning. The room was functional and AC worked fine, but there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The walls could do with repainting, and I found dust and cobwebs in parts of the room, which made it feel like housekeeping standards could be improved. One of the biggest drawbacks was how thin the walls are. Noise travels very easily, and I could hear almost everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, including conversations, showers running, and toilets flushing. This made it difficult to relax fully at times. There was also a noticeable gap around the door, which meant insects could get into the room. I could actually see mosquitoes coming through the gap at times, which was frustrating and made it harder to keep them out. Communication could also be challenging on occasion due to the language barrier. While this is understandable in a non-English-speaking country, it sometimes made things less straightforward. Thankfully, Google Translate helped bridge the gap. My booking included breakfast, which was somewhat disappointing. On the day I managed to have breakfast at the hotel, there was no choice or variety available. The meal consisted of a bowl of noodle soup and a boiled egg, with no alternative options or buffet selection. That said, my stay wasn't terrible, and the hotel served its purpose for somewhere to sleep."

"I personally visit Luang Prabang about 30 times a year for work. This time, I just wanted to relax with my family, so I picked a random hotel I hadn't stayed at before from Trip.com. Anyway, we had a good two-day break. Everyone has different standards regarding personal hygiene, dining, location, etc., so I'll skip those details. Firstly, it seems like the free pick-up and drop-off service from the train station is no longer available. Also, it's not $15 per vehicle, but $15 per person. In my case, I just arranged my own transport from the station. Even if you haggle, a taxi to the city center should cost a maximum of 300,000 kip per vehicle, so those reading this can decide for themselves. However, the hotel's free shuttle service was very convenient. I'm not sure if it's because there aren't many guests yet, but instead of fixed departure and pick-up times, it was like a regular taxi, available for departure and pick-up anytime. So, we made good use of it once a day in the evening to go to the night market."

"The hotel's location on the map was a bit off; we ended up in a cafe when following the directions. This hotel isn't directly on the main street; you have to go through a small alley to reach it. The rooms themselves are nice, very quiet, with great views and a private balcony. There are many koi in the central pond, and you can feed them bread. However, the bathroom drainage was a bit slow, and the complimentary bottled water bottles are quite small – we had to ask the front desk for more, as there wasn't enough for three people."

The hotel's pool is clean and beautiful, and as evening lights up, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable bedding and a dry/wet separated bathroom. Insect control in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and can communicate in Chinese, making them very welcoming to Chinese guests. The free shuttle bus runs to and from the city center and night market, making transportation incredibly convenient. For consecutive stays, airport transfers are also included, saving a lot of hassle. The hotel is quiet yet centrally located, not far from major temples and the night market. The overall service is thoughtful and attentive, making it a top choice for a vacation stay. Highly recommended!"

"Very pleasant stay, clean, friendly stuff. Nice shuttle service. Good breakfast. Good swimming pool. The drink quality at the pool bar could improve. Sometimes it feels like the property cares to much about money. This is understandable but shouldn't let the client see. They wanted to charge us 5 usd quickly because we didn't give the room card back. Fortunately we found it. Overall, very pleasant experience. The only inconvenience occured on the last day where there were some children screaming at the pool at 7am and we couldn't sleep. This is not pleasantl at all. Thank you for the nice stay, and hope to see you again!"

"1. The hotel is very new, designed like a luxury resort, built on a hillside. You can watch the sunset directly from here, avoiding the crowds at Mount Phousi. 2. The room has a Nespresso coffee machine, and the bathroom facilities and amenities are excellent. 3. The infinity pool is beautiful, and the sun loungers, bar, and restrooms next to it are all well-equipped. 4. Breakfast is definitely worth trying; the à la carte menu is fantastic! 5. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the city center, and you can contact them via WhatsApp anytime, which is incredibly convenient. The only thing that could be improved is the staff's English. Ordering food was pretty much a communication breakdown. 😂"

"The accommodation was incredibly clean and the location was excellent, right in the heart of the walking street. It was convenient to go sightseeing and in the evening, stepping out of the hotel put you right onto the walking street, making it easy to find food. The bathroom was very modern. Initially, from the outside, I thought the place looked old, but once I opened the room door, it was a 'wow' moment! The room looked fantastic for the price; it was truly beyond expectations. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Everything was modern, with an automatic toilet. All the amenities were complete, and there was even a weighing scale. In the morning, you could just step out and offer alms to monks right in front of the hotel. There was only one downside: we arrived at the hotel at 2 PM but couldn't check in yet because the previous guests hadn't checked out, so there were no rooms available. This was despite it being the designated check-in time. At that moment, being hot and eager to get into the room, I was a little disappointed. But while waiting for the room, we went to grab some food nearby. After an hour, when we returned, the room was ready. Breakfast wasn't a buffet but à la carte, with choices like steamed buns and dumplings. Before we left, the hotel owner gave us each a can of soda and had staff call a car for us to take us to the Laos-China railway station, which was much cheaper than if we had called one ourselves. If I have the chance to visit Luang Prabang again, I will definitely stay here."

The hotel pool had crystal clear water – it was so refreshing to shower and then take a dip after a day out. The hotel's location is fantastic, making travel very convenient. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for both short business trips and vacations. We felt secure and comfortable during our stay. The service was top-notch, the room was clean and spacious, and the facilities were all in excellent condition. It was a quiet environment with a superb location and an affordable price. Our entire stay was flawless, providing an excellent experience. Highly recommended!"
