Hotels near Yonghwasa Temple, Seogwipo

The hotel itself was decent, and the location was good – the largest local market in Seogwipo was just a short walk away! However, first and foremost, the lack of a front desk upon check-in was incredibly inconvenient. It's a hotel, not a guesthouse! Secondly, while I can overlook the small room size, what I absolutely couldn't stand was that all the lights were touch-activated and would automatically turn off in less than ten minutes! I tend to shower slowly, and this became really awkward; halfway through my shower, the lights went out, and the touch panel wasn't even in the bathroom, but outside! It was also inconvenient when using the toilet. Honestly, I just don't understand this design! You can strive for energy efficiency, but not at the expense of guest experience and convenience, right?! The hotel staff seemed unaware of this design flaw, and perhaps Koreans aren't as vocal about feedback (unlike the Japanese, haha). In the morning, the hotel seemingly responsibly sent someone to inspect it, but after all that, they told me they found no problems! Yet, I felt like they didn't even understand the issues I was reporting, which sounds a bit ridiculous! The dining area was right there in front of me, but then I was told they weren't serving breakfast. I found that quite incomprehensible as well!

It is a nice accommodation for a solo traveler like me. Very accessible to the famous Seogwipl Olle Market, has a bus stop right outside the hotel, has a convenience store across the street as well. Also, valet parking is free but could get full fast. Overall, it was great. I also loved the view from my room as well.

The room is huge for 2a2c. It's actually two rooms that merged into one so we actually have two doors. One side of the room is the bed area and the other side is the living area with sofa and TV. There are two bathrooms as well and one comes with a bathtub. Parking lots are a little limited but no issues with parking our car here at the end of the day. I guess its first come first serve. They are very generous with their in room snacks and its for free. Breakfast could be better I feel and with more varieties. But other than that all is good. Appreciate the steam dryer feature in the room.

Excellent hotel, located a stone's throw from the center, Saeseom Island, and the Cheonjiyeonpokpo waterfalls. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Stained bedsheet. Service was good. The two receptionists i met both don't speak good English yet very helpful. Be noted that you will need to leave your car key at reception if you park your car at the hotel. and be aware they don't work 24h so make sure to inform them in advance if you are going to use your car out of their work hour. the location is nice and right next to the starting point of olle trail. i was joining the olle event which found it very convenient.

My recent stay at The Cube Resort was an overall satisfying experience. The friendly staff at check-in were a delight, and I was able to start my stay feeling great. 🧡 The room was clean and tidy, and I loved how spacious it was. ✨ The view from the window was especially beautiful, and it felt so healing. The breakfast was delicious and varied, exceeding my expectations. The facilities were also well-maintained. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, a family trip, or a couple. 🩵 I'd love to visit again if I have the chance. 🥰

This is my second time staying at Shin Shin Hotel Seogwipo. It's very well-located, near the bus stop, has many convenience stores within a 150m distance, close to cafes, restaurants, and Seogwipo Olle Market. I also love that there is a washing machine in every room. 🙌🏼 Moreover, they let me checkin a day late since I was stranded in Udo as ferry services between Udon and Jeju were suspended due to strong winds. I'd stay here again and again. 😃

The hotel is good. Just a few minute walk to the market and airport limousine bus station. There are many good restaurants within walking distance.

clean hotel with a REALLY comfortable bed and a great view of the ocean, located in the center of Seogwipo about a 10-15 minute walk from the Olle Market. They also had a small kitchen area with free breakfast where you could also cook with their pots/pans as well as a washer/dryer that closed at 11pm. Only thing is the service wasn't very good: even when we requested the room to be made up, they didn't make the bed at all (not necessarily asking for new sheets, just for the bed to made), only providing water and fresh towels and taking out the trash. But overall great stay; they also had free parking for guests.

Had a really comfortable stay, comfortable beds, nice balcony out with washer available. Downside is the really late check in and early check out. Location was good as it was just about 5mins away from the airport busstop from/to airport. It had nice eateries nearby and 24/7 convenience stores so that was good. Generally shops around close pretty early. There are nearby busstops to many places but just take note of timings since lesser busses run with longer intervals. Note: if u have a luggages and coming before 3pm, please take lift from the carpark access and take up the L level for check in or luggage drop off as the escalators only work after 345pm (check in at 4pm) i had to carry up my huge luggage up the stairs….
