The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. The hotel is a bit far from some of the stores in the area but there is a convenience store right at the first level as well as a lady selling custard and red bean pancakes right outside the convenience store. The window could not be closed and was easily blown open and close by the strong winds. The shower door was also extremely loud when being moved and not well maintained.

The hotel itself was decent, and the location was good – the largest local market in Seogwipo was just a short walk away! However, first and foremost, the lack of a front desk upon check-in was incredibly inconvenient. It's a hotel, not a guesthouse! Secondly, while I can overlook the small room size, what I absolutely couldn't stand was that all the lights were touch-activated and would automatically turn off in less than ten minutes! I tend to shower slowly, and this became really awkward; halfway through my shower, the lights went out, and the touch panel wasn't even in the bathroom, but outside! It was also inconvenient when using the toilet. Honestly, I just don't understand this design! You can strive for energy efficiency, but not at the expense of guest experience and convenience, right?! The hotel staff seemed unaware of this design flaw, and perhaps Koreans aren't as vocal about feedback (unlike the Japanese, haha). In the morning, the hotel seemingly responsibly sent someone to inspect it, but after all that, they told me they found no problems! Yet, I felt like they didn't even understand the issues I was reporting, which sounds a bit ridiculous! The dining area was right there in front of me, but then I was told they weren't serving breakfast. I found that quite incomprehensible as well!

The only upside was the consistent water pressure in the shower. On the downside, when I checked in, there were food stains on the duvet, and I wasn't sure if the duvet cover had been freshly changed. My room wasn't cleaned during my two-night stay, and the TV had no signal. While there were several staff members at the front desk, the one who checked me in was extremely cold, yet she was all smiles with Korean guests, which made me quite uncomfortable. There's a paid laundry room downstairs, but all the instructions are in Korean.

This hotel is located on a hillside. There is a convenience store nearby. There is also an unmanned store in the hotel where you can check out by yourself. The sea view room is really facing the sea. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the beautiful sea view in the distance. The only drawback is that there is no storage rack in the bathroom, so you have to walk out to put on and take off clothes, which is a bit embarrassing.

1. **Transportation:** I arrived in Jeju around 9 PM. It took about two hours to get to the hotel by airport shuttle bus, as it's located in Seogwipo City, quite a distance from the airport. The return journey by bus was more direct, taking about 1.5 hours with fewer stops. There's a bus station nearby. It's also a convenient 5-minute walk to Seogwipo Olle Market. 2. **Environment:** I booked a sea view room, and it was absolutely fantastic, exceeding my expectations! I could see distant islands, the harbor, and even the school below, offering an excellent view. 3. **Service:** There were many staff members at the front desk who could communicate in English. They were all very friendly! I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning to explore the south and east parts of Jeju Island. It's away from the city center, quiet, boasts great scenery, and offers excellent value for money! If I visit Seogwipo again, I'll definitely stay here. I've already recommended it to my friends.

The room is too normal. I expected it will be more better. Like the washroom and other facilities is too normal. Littile bit small.

This is my second time staying at Shin Shin Hotel Seogwipo. It's very well-located, near the bus stop, has many convenience stores within a 150m distance, close to cafes, restaurants, and Seogwipo Olle Market. I also love that there is a washing machine in every room. 🙌🏼 Moreover, they let me checkin a day late since I was stranded in Udo as ferry services between Udon and Jeju were suspended due to strong winds. I'd stay here again and again. 😃

The parking lot is small and located underground, with 5-6 spaces and a parking tower, so I used the tower. The man helping me suddenly snatched my tangerines away, which was a bit embarrassing, lol. The room had a small sofa and shelf, so I enjoyed a delicious late-night snack. The coffee pot was dirty, so I couldn't use it, but I used the microwave on the first floor. The bedding and bathroom were clean, so I had a good rest.

It is a nice accommodation for a solo traveler like me. Very accessible to the famous Seogwipl Olle Market, has a bus stop right outside the hotel, has a convenience store across the street as well. Also, valet parking is free but could get full fast. Overall, it was great. I also loved the view from my room as well.

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The beds and linen are good, and the service was nice. That said, the facilities are white old as are the rooms. Only one bath towel is provided per room (though they were nice and gave us a second one). The bathroom works well but is also quite old. Of course, the price is really good, and if you are out all day sightseeing these details don't really matter. If you want to spend much time in the room or on the roof though, Id think again. For us, it worked well and I'd go back because of the price. We didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on it.
