Hotels near Sinbanpo Station, Seoul

This is really value for money. For the price, I had a high quality stay. Unmanned operation can work perfectly, and it has self-served laundry. They are even kind enough to let me check in early.

The room was a bit small but quite comfortable, and it wasn't noisy despite being close to the road. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, and there's a big hill... but for this price in this area, it's acceptable. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is very convenient for friends traveling together. I just wish there was a convenience store downstairs, as they are all quite far away.

I stayed here on a layover to Soeul. I like to take the longest layover :) This is in a neighborhood with little restaurants surrounding it. I paid a little more for the room with the massage chair, and it was quite nice. Sadly, it was in the basement with no elevator, so I was banging along the narrow and winding staircase. But other than that it was great.

In general, it was cozy, but the sound insulation was poor, which made it a little difficult to sleep. The interior is beautiful, very developed infrastructure nearby. Opposite the hotel there is Olive young, near Paris Baguette, many coffee shops, etc. There is a park within walking distance. Also one of the minuses is very late check-in.

It is close to the Gyodae subway station with Line 2 and Line 3, so it is convenient to move around. It seems more appropriate to see it as a neat motel rather than a hotel. The price is cheaper than a hotel, but more expensive than a motel.

The location was really great, being close to Nambu Bus Terminal! That alone makes me about 90% satisfied. However, it was a bit disappointing that the room light wasn't working. I had to rely on the bathroom light to get ready, and the room felt dark overall. Aside from that one issue, it was generally clean and comfortable to use. I'd be even more satisfied if the lighting was improved.

Nice room, felt clean enough. Great location. The underfloor heating was intense, overheated the room tbh but I imagine it would be wonderful in colder weather. Having to turn on the hot water for shower was a bit annoying but only delayed a few mins. We had a room with a loft area which was super cool, but completely pointless since the bed is on the ground level and they don't offer additional beds. The hotel is above (and below) a hospital, which was a bit of a shock, and uncomfortable being in a lift with my luggage and patients transfering. Lift can get super busy with all the patients plus hotel guests.

It was clean, which was great. They gave me a non-smoking room, so there was no cigarette smell inside, but I did notice a bit of it in the hallway. Still, the room was clean, no smoke smell inside, and the location was good too.

Pros: My room was incredibly clean, especially the bathroom. The sink gleamed, every corner was spotless, and the large mirror was perfect for makeup. The spacious counter was a huge plus for all my toiletries (girls tend to have a lot of skincare products!). The room size was typical for a Korean hotel, with enough space for two people's luggage. It's quite close to the subway station, with a convenience store and a few restaurants nearby, and a chill coffee shop just across the street. Although it's on a slope, it's a very short one. The elderly gentleman who checked us in at the front desk had an excellent attitude. There's even a tax refund machine in the hotel lobby. Cons: The soundproofing was poor. The two men in the next room were very loud. If it weren't for the language barrier, I think I would have known their entire conversation – there was absolutely no privacy. Luckily, we didn't stay on a weekend, so we didn't hear any bar-goers or drinkers. So staying here really depends on luck; if you get considerate guests who keep to themselves, it's great. But if you encounter loud ones, it's just bad luck. Also, at 1 AM, the TV (or possibly some other electronic box) suddenly blared an ear-splitting alarm, like an ambulance, which startled us awake. Since I take sedatives, being abruptly woken up is very disorienting for me. My girlfriend quickly unplugged all the power cords behind the TV, and the sound instantly disappeared. I don't know what caused this; I forgot to ask the front desk when we checked out, and I still have no idea what happened.

The room was impeccably clean and had a wonderful atmosphere. Its proximity to Nambu Bus Terminal Station is also a big plus! However, there was a slight musty smell in the hallway, but the room itself was completely fine and didn't have any issues.
