Jeju Ollero

9.6/10
Amazing

Absolutely a five-star review! 💯 The owners are a couple who speak excellent English. The guesthouse is in a superb location, just about a 15-minute Uber ride from the airport. Before check-in, they send an email with all the necessary details, which is very thoughtful. This truly felt like a hidden gem in Jeju. The room was incredibly clean and silent. The towels had a fresh, clean scent, not that typical disinfectant smell. The whole environment was spotless, perfect for a weary business traveler to relax by the sea and enjoy a peaceful, sunny moment, and also great for a leisurely vacation since there isn't much to explore in downtown Jeju anyway. There's a McDonald's right downstairs, so if you're making a light meal in the guesthouse, it's also nice to have the option of McDonald's fast food. The entire street along the coast is lined with charming cafes and restaurants, all very chilling. The owners are super warm and kind. On my first day, the hostess personally showed me to my room and explained in detail how to use all the equipment in English, as everything was in Korean. She also reminded me to close the bathroom curtain, even though the window isn't visible from the outside. At check-out, the owner even gave me a bar of Italian soap! 🧼 So friendly! She also told me she's visited Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau in China. I'll definitely choose Jeju Ollero again on my next trip to Jeju! 👍🏻

This hostel is located within walking distance of Yongduam Rock, in a very quiet neighborhood with a school nearby. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and Mir had all the necessary facilities. It wasn't too crowded at night. I went for walks along the nearby coastline every morning and evening – the scenery was beautiful (even though it was super windy)! I envy people who live by the sea!

I stayed during cherry blossom season, and it was super convenient to walk to Jeonnong-ro. If you're heading to the duty-free shop in the new city, it's just a five-minute walk to the bus stop. The road in front of the hotel wasn't congested either, making public transport and taxis easily accessible. Everything was great, except for getting to the old city beach area, which was a bit inconvenient (we opted for a taxi).

I was very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel first next time. It's conveniently located, within walking distance to Shilla Duty Free and Baojian Road. The best part is that I didn't need a power adapter; Chinese plugs worked directly. Just a small suggestion: the scent in the 6th-floor reception area could be changed. The current one is a bit too sweet and not very sophisticated; I got a headache after sitting there for a while.

Arriving on a rainy day, staff immediately greeted us, opening the car door and helping with luggage. They even escorted us to our room after check-in. Even when we didn't tip upon departure, they still had a smile, which was really nice. The view from the window was the parking lot, but the hotel exterior looked quite grand and upscale. The room amenities were a bit basic and can't compare to similarly priced hotels back home, but for Jeju Island, it was acceptable. The bedding wasn't very comfortable, but I still fell asleep instantly due to how tired I was from the day's activities. The location is extremely convenient; Shilla Duty-Free, a pharmacy, and various restaurants are right downstairs. Getting a taxi to go anywhere was also very easy. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Facilities: The smart toilet and Wi-Fi were great, but the shower being in the bathtub was a bit inconvenient, and the bathroom was a little small – I had to dry my hair outside. There's a mirror directly opposite the bed, so be aware if that bothers you. Hygiene: The hygiene was very good; the room was clean and tidy overall, and housekeeping did a thorough job. Environment: The location is excellent, close to Baojian Road, and an easy walk to both duty-free shops. There's a 7-Eleven right in the hotel, souvenir shops nearby, a CU convenience store across the street, and it's very close to the airport. Overall, it's very convenient. Service: I requested not to have an end room when booking, but that's what I got. There was a slight smell in the hallway. The front desk staff weren't very communicative, and luggage storage was just next to the front desk, unsupervised.

I booked this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu. The location is great, very close to Shilla and Lotte Duty Free shops – just a short walk away. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is eco-friendly and doesn't provide single-use toiletries. The large refillable shampoo and shower gel dispensers are fine, but the funniest thing is the large tube of shared toothpaste. People come and go, and everyone uses the same tube. I honestly think they could just skip providing it altogether, especially since each time you squeeze it, it touches someone else's toothbrush. Also, the toilet paper and tissue boxes in the room aren't replaced until they're completely empty. So, if the previous guest checked out and there's still some toilet paper left, it just stays there for the next guest to use until it runs out. In the bathroom, you shower in the bathtub, but there's no shower curtain and no bathmat. It's really annoying because the entire floor gets wet after a shower. Some of the standard rooms have a wet/dry separation with a glass door and no tub, while others are the kind where you shower in the tub. The room types definitely vary. The curtains don't block out much light. They provide two bottles of water daily, but if you have half a bottle left in your room, they'll only restock one bottle the next day, not two. Early check-in and late check-out seem to cost 10,000 Korean Won per hour.

It's a clean studio apartment. The location is great, it's clean, and the host is very responsive. Although having to dispose of your own trash was a bit inconvenient, it's a great choice in downtown Jeju.

This place is honestly not as bad as the reviews make it seem. The room is your average Korean hostel room (no curtains tho). The bathroom is a bit messy but overall not dirty. The location is very convenient if you are planning to explore the island by bus. For the very little price paid, I would stay at this hostel again!

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
