Hotels near Gunja Station, Seoul

I’ve stayed at Boutique 9 Neungdong several times. Overall, the hotel is very clean and well maintained, and everything else about the stay has been quite good. However, I’ve noticed that the front desk staff do not seem very friendly toward foreign guests. At times, their attitude felt a bit impolite, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise positive experience. Aside from the front desk service, I’ve been satisfied with my stays and appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel.

The accommodations are clean, friendly, reasonably priced, and in a great location. I'll definitely be back here again!

Exceeded expectations! Recommended, and the hotel is very easy to find, not far from the subway station

This is one of those hourly motel but everything was also very apt and clean for vacationers. In fact they also provide grooming items and facial cleansers etc which was very convenient for me. Small but cozy, also comes with air purifier in the room so no smell of smoke. Within minutes from a convenient store but no food after hours.

The walk to the station was a bit difficult due to the many market shops, but the room itself was convenient and I was able to stay comfortably. The refrigerator contained water and something like Real Gold, which I appreciated. The shower was also spacious. The building is quite old, but it was very clean!

I stayed in this hotel when I traveled to Korea with my mother. Advantages: 1. The lady at the front desk can speak English, which is convenient for communication. 2. The service is very good. We were given free water and drinks every day. The drinks are delicious. 3. Disposable paper cups are provided. Many hotels in Korea do not provide disposable items. I think it is very good to have paper cups here. 4. The location is very good. The hotel is at Myeonmok Station, which is only seven stations away from Shengshui where I want to buy things. It is very fast and convenient. 5. The price is very cheap compared to other Korean hotels. Disadvantages: 1. The sound insulation is not very good. There are couples who only come to open a room, and they scream loudly, so it will be embarrassing for us to hear it. 2. Some corners, such as the table top and the corner connected to the bed, are not very clean. The quilt core and quilt cover are not clean either. Fortunately, we brought disposable quilt covers. 3. This hotel does not have a twin room, so it is very crowded for two people to sleep in one. 4. The room was quite hot and stuffy. My mother had a cold and she didn't let me turn on the air conditioner, so I caught a cold from staying in the same room with her. This also caused us to leave the hotel and change to a twin room. It's a pity. If the hotel can improve, I will come back next time.

Wonderful motel near 3 metro stations. We spent here a great week. As many reviews said, it's host is a helpful and kind woman. She let us wash all our clothes in her washing machine and a dryer twice. She treated us with fruits and gave juice cans. She even got up at 4:30 AM to say good bye! The room is small, but cozy and clean, with a fridge and a warm sheet on a bad, the bathroom is clean too. A microwave and a cooler are in the hall. We like this place and thank the amazing host!

For the money this is just a great place! The location is great, the room is stylish and comfortable, the cleaning is good. But it depends on which floor you go to and which administrator. On the fourth floor the rooms are much newer, on the fifth they are already shabby. The first time they checked into room 4 without any problems, the second time the administrator gave me a bad room for room 5, and when asked to change, she blatantly said that rooms for room 4 are only rented out to couples for hourly rent. The next day, another admin calmly moved me to the 4th floor and even to the same room that I asked for, for which I thank him very much! I think management should pay attention to the adequacy of its employees. Respect to grandpa admin!

The hotel is about a 15-minute bus ride from Seongsu-dong Cafe Street, or a taxi ride of nearly 2 kilometers. The pros are that the hotel is reasonably priced, and it's very convenient to get to Seongsu-dong and not far from Sinsa-dong. There's also a popular Korean beef restaurant nearby, and since it's next to a university, there are plenty of other dining options. The room is a bit compact, and the facilities match the price. A big plus is the receptionist, an older gentleman who speaks English. The cons are that the mattress is too soft, and it can be a bit noisy at night, which is why the front desk provides earplugs.
