"The room was a bit old, but the service was very good. It was okay for one night. It's very close to Shuixi Station, making it convenient for getting around. A great economical choice, haha."
"The location is great, really close to the city center, which makes getting around super convenient. There are tons of restaurants downstairs too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. My only minor complaint is that the facilities are a bit old, but other than that, everything was fine."
"I stayed here on my last solo rip to Seoul and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very close to the subway station, making transportation very convenient, while the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and well-heated, which was especially comfortable during the colder days. Bottled water was provided. However, there were no extra amenities such as toothbrushes or disposable slippers, so you may want to bring your own. Although it feels more like a motel-style accommodation, the overall quality was better than I expected. The staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a great option if you prefer staying in a quieter area at a very reasonable price. Considering the price, I have no complaints."
"This hotel is great for fans! I booked a room with a 1.6m bed, which was a bit snug for two people. The room itself is quite small, so for comfort, I'd recommend it for solo travelers. The surrounding area is incredibly lively and bustling with plenty of food and shopping options. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center. The service was excellent, and you can communicate in English throughout your stay."
"I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location is excellent, close to the places of interest, I encountered several issues that made the stay less comfortable than expected. First, the bathrobes were dusty and had hair from previous guests, which was unpleasant. The towels also didn’t feel fresh, with visible stains that gave the impression they hadn’t been properly washed. Second, evenings and nights were very noisy due to the bars downstairs hosting parties. The hotel does provide ear plugs, though they don't fully solve the problem. If you’re a light sleeper, this can be a serious drawback as the noise carries well into the night. On the positive side, the hotel offers on-the-house coffee, soft drinks, and snacks, which are a nice touch. Overall, the location and refreshments are definite highlights, but the cleanliness and noise issues require serious improvement before I could recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay."
"The room was clean and tidy, with various charging ports available. There's a restaurant on the first floor and a convenience store on B1 that's open until midnight. Across the street, near the kindergarten, there are a few shops where you can grab a simple meal or coffee.
It's about a 3-minute drive to KSPO DOME, or a 20-minute walk through the park. The hotel is directly across the street from the 6200 airport bus stop, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to the airport. There's also a subway station nearby, making transportation very convenient."
"If you're going to KSPO Dome for a concert, this is a great choice!
It's about a 30-minute walk to KSPO Dome, 20 minutes by subway, or 15 minutes by bus, so it's super convenient!
If the weather's good, I highly recommend walking. You'll pass through about a third of Olympic Park, which has beautiful scenery, lush greenery, and lots of birds~
The hotel front desk doesn't speak Chinese, but their English is excellent, so communication was seamless, and they were incredibly polite!
I stayed in a deluxe king room. Even with a 24-inch suitcase open on the floor, there was still plenty of room to move around. The bed is huge, easily comfortable for two people!
The hotel also offers a paid breakfast option: a sandwich plus a coffee or juice.
It's about a 10-minute walk to Jamsil Shopping World Mall and Lotte Duty-Free Shop, and also about 10 minutes to Seokchon Lake Park. You'll pass through a food street with many dining options along the way.
All in all, it's pretty perfect (especially for K-pop fans), except that the bathroom doesn't have a distinct wet/dry separation."
"The location is great as it is close proximity to Lotte world mall- which has EVERYTHING and Seokchon lake- which was perfect / timely as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and it was lovely walking under the cherry blossoms! However, I didn’t like that the shower area was not separated from the basin and the toilet bowl which is inconvenient after a shower as the entire toilet would be wet…. Also the hotel did not have a weighing machine to weigh the luggage (and I had a difficult time trying to explain what I was looking for…)"
"My husband and I stayed at this hotel mainly for visiting Lotte World. We found it to be an excellent location as it was a short walk to the theme park, tower and mall. But it was also on a really cool street with tons of restaurants, shops and bars, many open 24 hours. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the self service cafe at the top was also a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again!"
"I stayed for one night with my child while visiting Lotte World. It's about a 13-minute walk to Jamsil Lotte World, and there are restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, which was very convenient. The bed was super soft, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious, which I really liked."

DDGwxSecond time at Mercure and still one of the best value hotels around Hongdae. Everything was cozy and convenient. However, we noticed a smell whenever we enter the room. We have read that sewage smell is also a recurring problem here so we hope the hotel can rectify this.
AAnonymous UserThe location is excellen with several train stations nearby, making it very convenient!
I would consider staying here again on my next trip!
The only thing that bothered me was that a sewage smell started filling the bathroom from the second night of my stay...
The cups provided in the room are paper cups so guests who prefer regular cups may want to bring their own.
It was also very convenient that I could store my suitcase in a locker inside the hotel even after checking out!
FFen ah ahAll good and everything is meet my expectations for the room cleaniness and services. The location is at the cetre of the market street and very convenient for street walking and shopping.Breakfast nice and variety of choices. Not much facilities like swimming pool or gym room for this hotel, but it is ok as i don't use it usually. The only bad is taxi cannot reach direct to this hotel and you have to carry your heavy luggage to the main road for the taxi.
JJoansoh⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay for Families
The room was very spacious and perfect for our family of five. We felt comfortable throughout our stay, with plenty of space for everyone.
We accidentally made a duplicate booking, and even though we had already checked in, the hotel staff kindly assisted us with the refund process through the booking platform. We truly appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help. It is rare to find such genuine and customer-oriented service.
The hotel also has an E-Mart on-site, which made it very convenient to buy snacks, drinks, and daily necessities. Another big plus is the free parking, which is spacious and easy to access.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for families and is especially suitable for travelers on a self-drive trip. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again! 😊
AAnnaJKThis is not the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and everything has always been excellent — but not this time. It all started at check-in, when we were given a different room than the one we had booked. However, thanks to the reception staff, the issue was quickly resolved.
Then we noticed that the toilet smelled of smoke, even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking. We informed the staff, and over time the smell became less noticeable. Housekeeping was done daily, and the staff responded promptly to all our requests.
These minor inconveniences did not spoil our stay. We will definitely come back again.
MMattyFThe room is small and a little boring but you’re paying for the location, and it’s comfortable and clean. There’s a good beer bar, Seoulista, on the ground floor. There’s is an aerial walkway connected, which goes to Seoul Station. You can also use the metro Exit 7 (I think) but it will charge you just for walking through if you are coming from the AirPort Express. The breakfast arrangements are quite eccentric, but I had a good breakfast.
EEddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
MMisa93The location is good if you want peace, since it's close to Bukhansan National Park and not city centre. The room is very spacious, but the cleanliness was so-so. I found someone's hair on the bedside table, and the tiles in the bathroom weren't very clean. I guess it's what you get for the price. If you're a budget traveller, it's a good choice, if you want something more, look for other places. But the view was amazing.
GGuest UserIt's always a nice stay here! The location is very great, olive young is downstairs , and the subway station also downstairs, it's near the airport bus stop too! They have bidet and the toilet is scpacious, the room also spacious, you can store many luggages, they have tables and chairs too for you to eat or have some work, their receptionist lobby and all the staff also very helpful during my stay, definitely recommended, not to mention they have 24h convenient store at the 3rd floor and laundry room
AAnonymous UserIt's not really excellent but You get what you payed for.
Aside from they only provide small size face towels.
My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains.
Check in is strict 3pm
Check out is 11am
No elevator
No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave.
Near subway station line9 naebang.
