"The room size is perfect for solo travellers! What I really like is that it is conveniently located near Seongsan Ilchulbong within a 10 minutes walking distance. It is also close to Seopjikoji too :)
Have many good eateries and convenient stores around so you don't have to worry about food.
The room seemed a little old where you can see the painting and some of the furniture chipping off. The walls are quite thin so sometimes it can be quite noisy if there are new guests moving in. Overally still a good stay!"
"The cleanliness was a bit lacking, but considering it's at the foot of the mountain, it's acceptable. The scenic area entrance is just 200 meters away, making it very convenient to buy tickets and watch the sunrise. For check-in, I had to wait a while because the auntie wasn't there. You might want to ask a local to call her; I don't understand Korean, and the call I made through Trip.com got hung up. The room was okay, and the auntie herself was very nice, but the value for money wasn't great."
"I love this location and this hotel is near to scenic spot , if you guys seen k drama this location looks like this .. but we don’t get food near buy nevertheless we walk in night and there are many restaurants for dinner and receptionist can speak English and they are helpful and they help to book taxi .. I recommend you to visit attaching few pics"
"Staying at this hotel really made me feel like I was in Jeju (we could see horses from our bed!). There was plenty of parking available even late at night. There are many local restaurants around the hotel with reasonable prices. We even got a 7,000 won discount on takeout chicken from a nearby chain because it was the World Cup season. It's about a 30-minute walk to the Seongsan Ilchulbong ticket office. The room was more spacious than I expected. With YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ all available, there was plenty to watch in the room, so we never got bored. All the staff, from the front desk to room cleaning and the breakfast buffet restaurant, were friendly. The hotel breakfast was very satisfying for the price. Fresh vegetables and delicious fruits were generously and neatly provided daily. I was worried about the hot water schedule notice, but warm water was always available, so there were no inconveniences. The shower stall was larger than average, which was great. For consecutive nights, we received 3 bottles of water and fresh towels daily, and the trash was emptied. It's self-check-in/check-out, but there's always staff at the front desk right next to it, so you can get help anytime. There were guests in the next room, but the soundproofing was good, and we weren't disturbed. There's a bakery called 'Jeil Seongsimdang' near the hotel with a wide variety of delicious bread. I wish I had a bakery like that where I live. I highly recommend checking it out. While the hotel is far from Jungmun and the airport, and it doesn't have a sophisticated exterior or luxurious feel, it offers excellent value for both money and satisfaction. We booked with breakfast included, and for this price and service, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. If I have the chance, I would 100% stay here again. Thanks to this stay, I had a satisfying trip and now dream of returning to Jeju."
"The hotel is very close to the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Udo Island ferry terminal, and there are many restaurants downstairs. Overall, the room was decent, and the power outlets were well-placed, even accommodating Chinese plugs directly. However, some of the facilities are a bit old; for example, some of the curtains were broken and couldn't be drawn."
"Our group of 8 booked four rooms. When some family members had a last-minute change of plans and couldn't make it, the hotel was kind enough to let us cancel one room, which was very helpful. The living environment was very comfortable and spacious! The nearby rapeseed flower fields were beautiful for casual photos. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Seongsan Ilchulbong entrance and about 15 minutes to the Udo ferry terminal, which is super convenient. The hotel staff were very friendly and even helped us book our trip to Seogwipo! If you're planning to visit Udo or Seongsan Ilchulbong, I would definitely recommend staying here again."
"First, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations.
Now, for the pros:
1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance).
2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes.
3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English.
4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious.
5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport.
Areas for improvement:
1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them).
2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better.
Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side."
"Basic but perfectly clean room, and the man at the front desk was courteous. The bed was comfortable and we got a great night’s sleep. Location was great too, just a stone’s throw from a popular pork barbecue restaurant."
"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, right next to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, so you can easily catch the sunrise in the morning. It's also not far from Udo Island, just a 15-minute walk. The owner is incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help with anything you need. Highly recommended!"

Great
AAnonymous UserEven though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the rooms are cleaned promptly. The public areas are also quite nice. The check-in staff speak Korean and Chinese, and there are also Chinese-speaking staff available to answer questions. However, nearby dining options are a bit far and require a walk. The restaurants next to Lotte aren't very good and are a bit overpriced. The bread and desserts in the lobby are also delicious; if you go too late, some items are already sold out by locals, and they're not overly sweet. The red bean and chocolate ones are great, but the cream and butter sticks are just average. Getting to the beach requires going downhill, and due to the location, most hotels nearby have the same situation where you have to go down and then climb back up. Overall, it's good. Aside from not providing disposable toiletries, it's pretty much on par with hotels in Sanya, and the room rates aren't inflated.
YyangyangThe hotel environment was just okay, to be honest. We were assigned a ground-floor room, and you could walk straight out to the outside from the balcony door, which meant privacy was a bit lacking. There were tons of tour groups every day, making check-in a slow process. On our second day, nothing in the room was replenished. I'm pretty sure they only vacuumed the floor and made the bed. Nothing else was wiped down; stains on the mirror and dust on the desk were still there after housekeeping. I had to disinfect and wipe the toilet seat myself, or you'd better bring your own toilet cover, otherwise, you'll find it's dirty even after a quick wipe. Breakfast options were very limited, not much to choose from. Some staff were friendly, but others seemed annoyed by Chinese tourists. Besides being close to the theme park and water park, I generally wouldn't recommend it.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean. It's a shame we stayed for two nights and it was cloudy and hazy every day, so we didn't get to see the true beauty of Mount Lu. We stayed in a suite, which was perfect for a family with two kids. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was surprisingly quiet, which is great for light sleepers. Perhaps due to the climate, there were a lot of small flying insects at night, but the staff were constantly cleaning them out of the pool, and the water was very clean. The Ivory Brunch downstairs was delicious, and the supermarket had plenty of options. The changing rooms by the pool were also exceptionally clean, and they even had skincare products available. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserReally nice hotel. Our room was huge ! The rooftop pool is heated and is great after a long day of exploration.
Location is good, 10min walk from the market and the waterfall.
The only thing is that we required no service and the housekeeper still came and did only one bed out of 2, the next day one of the bathrobes belt was gone which is a bit weird..
I added breakfast one mornging and it was ok. Maybe more continental options would be good (bacon, cheese, etc)
The staff is very helpful and really nice .
RrobjoeolTwin room was comfortable and had everything provided (towels, toiletries, water). Wifi was fast. The pillows were too soft for my taste.
Keep in mind that this hotel does not have a reception for the majority of the day. You must use an electronic kiosk to check in. It was fine for me, but there isn't an ability to extend your stay. I had to contact the staff by chat.
I did my laundry elsewhere as machines only accept domestic cards (no cash).
카카말아스가르I went to ICC Jeju for GCIM 2025 conference. This hotel is just 10 minutes walking distance from the ICC. The staff is very cooperative and kind. He can also speak English. The room service and cleaning fascilities are best 👍.
GGuest UserExtremely satisfied! I honestly wondered if a place this good, considering the facilities, service, cleanliness, and amenities, should even be offered at this price point. My only minor gripe is the somewhat remote location, which means no delivery services are available. You'll have to rely on the convenience store at reception for any urgent necessities.
AAnonymous UserThe hygiene was surprisingly good, which was a pleasant surprise. There wasn't much in the way of service, but honestly, we didn't really need any. The breakfast restaurant staff spoke Chinese in the kitchen, and the breakfast itself was on par with, or perhaps even worse than, pre-made dishes you'd find in China. Definitely don't bother booking it.
HHels11Good location, parking close by as well as some parking at the hotel. The rooms were clean (bathroom could do with a bit of renovation), comfortable and spacious. The cleaning is every 3 days but fresh water and towels given everyday. We had a kitchen in our room but no way of utalising it as there were no pots, pans or cutlery.
KKai Szetoroom was clean and spacious for 3 adults. if driving, free parking available and self check in/out through a machine at the carpark lobby. Bottles of water provided every day based on number of pax.
location is good, with a nearby local market with plenty of food. quite centralised, distance to hallim/ udo/ gapado are averaged 1hr drive away.
Downside: there was only small face towels in the room, no normal big size towels. Probably bring your own towels.
overall: will come back! good sea views
