"I stayed for 3 nights from August 8th. It was a very comfortable inn with warm hospitality. **Room (Room 202) and Facilities** The room (Room 202) only has a shower. The room has a charming tea room space, but since there's a separate dining table, we only used the tea room for photos and not for meals. As it's a self-service hotel, we changed our own towels and linens. The room comes with cooking utensils and a fully automatic washing machine (with drying function), which was incredibly helpful as we could wash and dry our clothes worn that day. This eliminated the need for a huge laundry session after returning home. **Breakfast and Common Area** The booking site stated 'Western-style, à la carte,' but it's actually self-service toast, cereal, milk, and coffee. As long as you know that, it's perfectly fine. While there's a designated breakfast time, the toast, cereal, milk, and coffee machine are available 24/7, which was very convenient. Ramen is also available, but it's not free; you deposit 4,000 won into a safe. **Owner's Kind Service** When I brought back some delicious soupless ramen that I had sampled, I asked the owner how to prepare it, and they kindly made it for me. This warm hospitality during my trip became a wonderful memory. **Excellent Location** Seven-Eleven, MEGA COFFEE, the subway station, and the airport bus stop are all within a 5-minute walk. There are also local eateries right next door, so dining and shopping are no problem. I definitely want to bring Japanese souvenirs when I visit Korea again!"

"The room was generally clean and tidy. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, and everyone was very polite. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the nearest metro station. Also, this hotel doesn't use key cards; you have to enter a code for the elevator and to get into your room."

The room was incredibly clean and hygienic; the cleaning staff did a thorough job, which made me feel safe and relaxed the moment I walked in. The single room's layout was well-designed and cozy, and the bed and facilities met all the needs of a solo traveler, providing an excellent resting environment. The overall stay was fantastic, and for this quality, the price was very affordable – the value for money is simply unbeatable. "Because my trip was quite rushed this time, I started booking very late. The hotels I'd stayed in before had significantly increased their prices. I stumbled upon this place by chance and, although I was a bit apprehensive, overall I was very satisfied. First off, the location is right by the Dongdaemun subway station exit (not Dongdaemun History & Culture Park, don't get them confused). It's just a hundred meters from exits 6 and 7. The entrance is large with a prominent sign, making it relatively easy to find. The front desk is on the third floor, accessible by elevator. Although there's no Chinese speaker, and we don't speak Korean, basic English was enough to communicate. We checked in at 3 PM and left our luggage at the front desk before heading out to shop. Once in the room, the two large beds were indeed comfortable, but the overall space was quite small, especially the bathroom, which was a bit tricky to navigate. I'd say it was just adequate. 😓 There's a public laundry room with a washer and dryer. In the summer, being able to wash clothes daily meant I had clean clothes for my return trip, which was great. Just remember to check the operating hours. The restaurant is quite spacious, with instant noodles and a coffee machine, both available 24 hours. During breakfast hours, there are simple items like bread, butter, milk, jam, etc. I'm not sure why they weren't available on Saturday and Sunday, and I felt a bit awkward asking. There's also a public terrace on the fourth floor. It's very pleasant to be up there on a nice day, and there's a bar next to it with coffee, drinks, and tea. Overall, it was pretty good, and I would book it again if I have the chance."

"Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun is an amazing hotel! It is about a 10 minutes walk to 2 different subway stations. There are also plenty of eateries and coffee kiosks nearby. The breakfast spread is also great, there is a great mix of Korean and international food. For smokers, there is a smoking lounge of every floor of the hotel. There is also a communal kitchen on every floor, you can get those famous Korean instant noodles from the convenience store at the lobby and have the noodles in the kitchen. Room size is decent, my trip was 8 days with lots of shopping and there was still enough space to open 4 luggage. And Dongdaemun is an area that becomes lively at night, and the huge wholesale centers are right next door. Oh yes you can see the Cheonggyecheon stream from the room window, depending on which wing you are staying at. There is also a fantastic view from the hotel breakfast restaurant. And you can walk to Gwangjang Market. There are so many good things about this hotel!"

"The room was clean and the view was great. The hotel is conveniently located right by the airport shuttle stop. There's also a convenience store downstairs, which is super handy. It's not far from the subway station either; just a short walk, and there's a Mega Coffee next to the station. There are plenty of food options near the hotel, and it's close to Doota and APM, as well as Culture Park."

"The location was amazing, plenty of good food around and walkable distance to 2 stations. There's also 2 convenient stores nearby ＜5mins! The room was clean and just nice to store 2 luggages! Everything was clean and comfortable. There is also water, coffee machine, washer and dryer and instant noodle machine on every level too. 10/10 would definitely come back here to stay, the staffs here also speak good English and are super helpful!"

"This stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable and soft that I slept soundly until morning. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was quick, and they even thoughtfully provided a guide to local eateries. The soundproofing was also excellent, making for a very quiet night. The value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended!"

"I was quite satisfied. Seoul hotels are indeed on the pricier side, but this one offers decent value for money. It's about a 1km walk to Myeongdong main street, which is acceptable. The subway station is right next door, so it's really close. The overall layout is well-designed; we could open two large suitcases in the just-over-20-square-meter space. It comes with a washer-dryer combo, microwave, induction cooktop, pots and oil, and even tableware. If you plan on cooking, you'll need to bring your own dish soap, and there's no laundry detergent for the washing machine. The refrigerator is very large. Housekeeping was also quite prompt. The only thing I was unhappy with was the showerhead in the bathroom; the water pressure was too strong and it wouldn't stay in place, feeling like it was just hitting me.😅"

"If you want to fully enjoy Dongdaemun, I highly recommend this place! I contacted them with questions before my arrival, and they were very responsive. They also stored my luggage for me when I checked out, and even let me repack my suitcase inside because it was hot, and helped me weigh it! It's perfect for a one-night stay or solo travelers. The amenities are good, though the only issue I'd point out is the bathroom... but they put a splash guard on the toilet, so it ended up being much better than I expected! It's clean, the location is great, and most importantly, the staff are amazing!"
