"I arrived late after sightseeing, but they greeted me warmly. They even provided complimentary tangerines, which was nice because I could enjoy Jeju tangerines early in the morning. First, the water temperature was a bit difficult to control. It took a while for the hot water to come out, and it was so hot that even slightly tilting the shower towards the cold water made it cold quickly, making showering uncomfortable. Second, even though it was only a one-night stay, there were only two towels for two people. Assuming we showered twice a day, there should have been at least four. It was quiet and clean, but I don't think I'll be using it again."

"This hotel is excellent, and the breakfast selection is incredibly rich, just like what you'd find at a five-star hotel. The pool is also fantastic. What's really cool is that you can order food and dine right by the pool. The overall service is great, and the front desk staff are very friendly. Even though it's self-check-in, you can get settled in smoothly no matter how late you arrive."

"Located in the southern side of Jeju, walkable distance to some tourist spots such as teddy bear museum and olive young. The hotel looks more traditional ad slightly antiqued comparing to other hotels. Staff are really nice though. Didnt get the chance to try out the lobby restaurant but it looks nice inside. there is also a seaview but not as opened given the windows. Given the price, i think it is a very good deal."

"This is huge 3 bedroom unit, walking distance to sea and cafes. Cleanliness was exceptional. Nice bath tube with TV. All the dishes forks, fry pan and rice cooker. Pretty much ready to live home. Downside was a moldy smell throughout the house, so we had to periodically ventilate. On request to replace the unit we were told a long complicated story of what we would need to endure and lose some options so we didn’t go for it. Also, they told a secret - hotel apartments are being sold to private buyers so only first floor ones left (can enter through door at deck). But they also have a few on a second floor (hard to get). Table tennis was enjoyable, having your rackets is better. The billiard was without holes - very unexpected and not as enjoyable for family. There is also good gym and micro mart. No other facilities present. Great location, however a bit windy - easy to drain your energy and catch flu in winter - so moving by car is still preferable. The chain of restaurants is 1km away and nothing to eat indoors (can order, a few options in Shuttle app). Great stay overall."

"I was curious about the cleanliness of the place since it was a bit old, but it was one of the best places I've been to so far, probably because it was well-maintained. The location is also good, and it's a good place to come with family."

"We were quite disappointed upon arrival. We had specifically booked a mountain view room, but were given a city view room with mountains in the distant background—a view that looked nothing like what was advertised in the hotel’s room listing. When we raised this with the front desk and showed them the discrepancy using a photo comparison (our view vs. the advertised one), we were told that the building had been constructed recently and the room photos hadn’t been updated. However, the buildings obstructing our view clearly appeared not to be new, making that explanation unconvincing. What was even more disappointing was the lack of any effort to rectify the situation. The hotel could have at least offered us an alternative room, even a cheaper one with partial sea and mountain views, but this wasn’t done. We ended up paying a premium for a view that didn’t meet expectations, and left feeling misled. Parking The listing stated free parking, but both nights, the hotel car park was full. We had to park in public areas, and one night, we ended up parking at the roadside due to a lack of space. As foreigners unfamiliar with Korean parking regulations, this caused unnecessary stress—we were worried about the risk of parking fines for potentially illegal parking. Other Concerns There seemed to be extra charges for everything. Only two complimentary bottles of water were provided each night. When we went to the lobby to ask for two paper cups, we were told we had to pay for them. Fortunately, this charge was waived—possibly because they were aware of our parking issue—but it still left a negative impression."

"Grand Mer Hotel, located near Nonjitmul, is quiet and clean. You can see Gunsan Oreum at a glance, and the view is great with unobstructed views in all directions. The staff are friendly, and the bedding and facilities are clean. I will visit again next time I come to Jeju."

"Highly recommended. You get a direct, expansive view of the ocean. The room has a large bathtub, and it's wonderful to soak in the tub while looking out at the sea. It's super close to the beach, just a two-minute walk. However, this particular beach doesn't have sand."

"As someone who is always picky about hotel rooms, I specifically came to leave a review because this place is truly worth it. The hotel is very large, and the service is incredibly welcoming. As soon as I got out of the car, someone greeted me, explained the check-in time for the afternoon, and helped store my luggage. If you arrive early, you store your luggage first and then check in, which is different from the Parnas next door. The Louis Vuitton store was quite crowded, so reservations were needed. This is a garden-style hotel, with beautiful sights at every turn, showcasing its former luxury everywhere. Although the facilities aren't the most modern, the cleanliness is exceptional. Every corner, including the balcony, was clearly meticulously cleaned, which deserves a big thumbs up! 👍 All items in the mini bar are chargeable, unlike the Parnas where they are free. The bathroom's wet and dry separation is also excellent. Exiting the hotel to the right, towards the Louis Vuitton store, there's a brunch spot I highly recommend. Their coffee and bagel set is substantial and delicious. They have self-ordering kiosks inside, and you definitely need to get a bell pager in advance. The tofu salad is great for a nutritional boost. Next door is a 7-Eleven, across the street there's Thai food (didn't try it), and diagonally opposite there's a BBQ place (didn't try it). Within a ten-minute walk, you'll find the Teddy Bear Museum, a castle-themed Starbucks, and O'Sulloc Tea Museum. Walking for a maximum of 30 minutes from there gets you to the Jusangjeolli Cliff. It's truly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Oh, and behind the windmill is Olle Trail Route 8, and walking down from there leads you to Jungmun Beach, perfect for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing."

"This is the best hotel out of 3 hotel we stayed at when we were in Jeju. I love the location, the rooms were spacious, staff were very friendly, respectful and helpful. The view out to nature was amazing and calming. My kids enjoyed it. The pool is heated and was beautiful and it was perfect because the weather was cold. I love the idea of the DJ pool night time to just enjoy live music and chill time. Also very convenient with 7-11 store with other shops that are well affordable to buy necessities. The room service was also amazing. We ordered our food and it didn’t take long for them to be delivered. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL. A must to stay at if when we go again."
