Rooms were clean, check in was easy, breakfast was satisfactory. The info related to parking in the reviews is incorrect. The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel. There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so the later you arrive, the more you pay for parking, and hopefully all does not fill up. This is the best hotel near Shin-Yamaguchi Station. I've decided to stay here next time I come to Yamaguchi Prefecture. It's very convenient as it's right in front of the station. It's a little more expensive than the business hotels in the area, though.

Excellent location for transit passengers. On the opposite of Shin-Yamaguchi Shinkansen station, across the road. Breakfast is excellent, in the room too everything is, cozy and clean. The mattress is comfortable, the pillows are also. There is water in the cooler downstairs.

The ryokan was large and easy to find as it was located near a bus stop. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess show was nice, but the floor in the hot spring bathroom was broken and the blankets were stained, so it seemed like a little investment in the facilities was needed.
