Hotels near Washigatake Ski Resort, Gujo

From the start to the end, this hotel was user friendly and hospitable. The front desk spoke pretty fluent English, but friendliness and willingness to help was outstanding. The room itseld was a little dated, but it was consistent with the town experience. The first floor had an onsite onsen and was unisex for single users or couples. Very convenient location to downtown Gujo-Hachiman, and the next door restaurant was about as authentic Japanese cuisine as it gets.  The room was impeccably clean. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I forgot to take pictures of the hotel. I stayed on the first floor, which was super convenient as I had a lot of luggage. The hotel interior was incredibly clean and felt fresh — excellent! The room was stylish, and the bed was large – absolutely no complaints. There was a hot spring right next door, and I wish I had gone there. This time, I came for snowboarding and drove from Meiho Ski Resort. So, I looked for a hot spring on the way back and ended up at Kamihonoyu. That hot spring was also fantastic, highly recommended! It's a bit of a walk, but there was a yakiniku place nearby where we had dinner. Right next to it was a Chinese restaurant, and I was really torn, so next time I go, I want to try the Chinese place. It felt like a local spot and was bustling with customers, so I bet it's delicious! It's a bit far from the ski resort, but I got a great deal on the stay, so I'd love to come back if I get the chance!

It was a very comfortable family-run guesthouse, apparently run by a husband and wife. The male owner picked us up from the bus station, but since he wasn't there when we left, he couldn't take us to the station and booked a taxi for us. The female owner, seeing our large luggage, immediately arranged a river-view room on the first floor for us. The room was very comfortable, stylish, and clean. The only issue was that the sink and toilet were outside the room, which was a bit inconvenient and could be a little cold in winter. Otherwise, it was perfect. The river view from the room was also beautiful. Gunsang is truly a wonderful town, and I will definitely come back!

The hotel is located in the middle of the mountain, we are traveling by car, the hotel has open-air parking. Quiet environment, relaxing. 1 parking 2 meals plan, food is delicious. Although the hotel does not have a large bath, the bathtub in the room is large and it is very convenient to buy bath powder in the hotel store. The room was clean, the space was large and comfortable. There was no land problem with the 2 26” suitcases. The staff at the hotel were very polite and kind. It only takes 2 minutes to drive from the hotel to the county of Shangbachi City (in fact, it is just up the mountain road), and it takes about15-20 minutes to walk. But it is worth a visit, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the county of Shangbachi City. In summary, the overall accommodation experience is good and it is recommended to stay.

The facilities are a bit old but keep clean. The size of the room and the comfort of the bath were satisfactory. It is delicious and the amount is satisfactory for both morning and dinner. I am happy with the free massage machine in the lobby. The travel site says there is Wi-Fi, but the only complaint is that it was not connected.
