travelswithjessWe are so surprised by the quality and service of this hotel, as we expected older facilities etc.
The location is super convenient - directly above JR. We drove so we parked downstairs which we can use multiple times a day.
Very accessible to shops and restaurants - can't think of a better location than this one.
In terms of service - staff speak good English and very friendly and approachable. We had a do not disturb sign on during cleaning hours but instead of like any other hotel to just skip your room until requested, they put a bag of supplies outside our room with towels, robes, toilet paper, amenities refreshers, drinking water and everything else they supply in our room, which was absolutely fantastic.
I am truly amazed and would stay at this hotel again if I visit Kokura and will recommend others too.
Highly recommend that you book superior rooms.
Thank you staff for this wonderful experience!!

We booked a 3-bed room for one night. The location was excellent—right next to the subway station—and the outlet was also nearby.
The reception staff were very helpful. In particular, the receptionist assisted us in booking a French restaurant. As you may know, Japan often requires reservations 1–2 days in advance, but she managed to secure a table for us on the same night.
The hotel also offered a special dinner set at each restaurant. We truly enjoyed the dinner set while watching the sunset and fireworks from the 28th floor. The food at the French restaurant was excellent.
Although I can’t remember the receptionist’s name, her attitude and assistance were greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Lastly, the sauna and spa required an extra charge. My personal feeling is that the surcharge was a bit expensive for hotel guests. If Trip.com or the hotel could offer a bundle package including the room charge plus sauna & spa access, that would be wonderful.

Had a slight issue with communication during check-in, but everything else was great. The best part is the location — it’s close to all the landmarks. The view is beautiful, and the hotel itself has a lot of charm.

I stayed there on the 11th floor for two days, from Thursday to Saturday. Noise wasn't a problem at all. Overall, the hotel was okay, except for a dirty coverlet with a blood stain and some dirt. I asked the front desk to help with it, and they fixed the issue. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner were included for free, but I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food. The dining area was clean and tidy. In the room, the bed was a good size—not small—and there was a standard desk and chair, which worked well for me. Considering the price and the location—just a 5-10 minute walk to the train station—the hotel was pretty decent.

This hotel locates near by the Kokura train station makes it one of the most convenient hotel I have ever lived.
Unfortunately I could only reserve a smoking room, but the smell was not too strong to clear out by some splash. I would suggest the manager to inform smoking customers not to smoke in the bathroom, in order to avoid the smoke on the shower curtain.
And the services are pretty good provided by kind stuff with multiple language skills. There is even a snack and drink corner 24 hours on first floor.
The only deficit of this hotel might be the sound proof of the top floor, 6th floor I lived. The sound could not penetrate through rooms, but there were multiple huge machines on the top of the room running through day and night and generated big noises. During the last night I lived, one of the noises was similar with the sound of unlocking the door, so I couldn' t sleep well because I felt like somebody was unlocking the door.

We were visiting to watch the rugby at the Mikuni World Stadium and wanted somewhere to stay near by. This place was an absolute gem, incredible room, huge jet bath with TV, breakfast served in bed and the best part was the view from the balcony included the Mikuni World Stadium. Staff were amazing, they didn’t speak English but were very quick to assist and help. They received post for me before my arrival which they gave to me as soon as I arrived, there was a private lounge area to rest and refresh when we arrived too early to check in. I would certainly revisit, especially if you’re headed to the stadium. I wish I’d taken more photos of the amazing room!

The hotel appeared exactly as described. No major surprises. Contactless check-in process so ensure that you have filled out the information of all the visitors beforehand via the link procidws. They will verify each guest individually when you physically check-in. English speaking customer service is available.
Do note that there is no separate dryer. Washing machine comes with a drying function but does not dry the clothes completely.
Major attractions are a walking distance away. Paid parking available away from accommodation. Costs 300 to 400yen for overnight parking.
Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Guest UserLocation is walkable from the JR station, surrounding malls and tourist spots, while not being in the centre of it all, making it a quiet and comfortable stay. There are many buses nearby so taking the bus instead of train was a good option to have. Walking distance can also be reduced sometimes via taking the bus. At the same time, the airport bus is at the JR station, so it was very convenient. The hotel while a little dated, is well maintained with floors segregated by non-smoking and smoking. Luggage deposit before and after is also available and the staff are very helpful with that. The bedside console comes with an alarm clock and even a music player where ambience music can be played - it is a very nice touch to have!!

Guest UserThough location is a little far but the free shuttle bus to and fro Orio station made is super convenient for an onsen retreat. There's a direct bus from Kitakyushu Airport to Orio station too, which makes it even better. Thankfully, the staff kindly took note of the shuttle reservation request made during booking, otherwise, it would have been very inconvenient to contact them and expensive to get to the resort by other means. They left a note to check the official website for pick-up point but there was no specific information - something that can be improved. The location was found to be BEHIND Maxvalue Shop (see first few photos). The resort is visited by mainly locals so it was helpful to see and ask them for confirmation.
Facilities might a bit old but generally clean so it was okay. The room is nice and comfortable, particularly the view. It was very nice to see the hotel using reusable wares with even a refillable jug to get water from a machine at the shared space. Both sides of the natural onsen is switched between male and female everyday. Supper tantan noodles is great! Breakfast is not bad with both fusion western style and traditional Japanese options. It was a very nice and relaxing time!
