Amazing
RRukawa1111The 39 sqm room with two queen-sized beds was perfect for our family of three. The facilities felt high-quality, but it's a shame the minibar was so small and there were no complimentary or even paid drinks in the fridge. The breakfast buffet restaurant was beautiful, and over our two-day stay, some main dishes were rotated. They even had soup curry and gluten-free bread, which was a first for me and a very thoughtful touch. Fresh mozzarella and homemade herb butter were also available. However, it was surprising that the restaurant didn't serve lunch or dinner; only the ground-floor lounge offered some simple meals. The hotel's facilities were also a bit limited, with no pool, hot spring, spa, or business center, just a small gym on the ground floor. Most of the guests seemed to be Westerners, suggesting it's primarily a leisure-focused resort.

LLost1881This hotel boasts an excellent location, situated above Cocono with a mall and cinema downstairs. It's seamlessly connected to Susukino subway station underground. I took the airport bus from New Chitose to Minami 3-jo, and it was just a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Sapporo isn't very big, so most places are only one or two stops away by subway, or even walkable if you're up for it. Dining and shopping options are very convenient; Tanukikoji is close by, and there's a *** (likely referring to a convenience store or similar, but kept as is since it's unclear) not far downstairs. When leaving, the airport bus stop is just across the street, a 2-minute walk, making trips to the airport super convenient. The breakfast buffet is also very rich, with main dishes rotated daily, including roast meat bowls, Wagyu beef bowls, and seafood bowls. I booked a larger twin room, and it was indeed more spacious than typical rooms, with enough space to open luggage. This will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Sapporo.

DDangyidihaishuijuedingquThis hotel was so good that now, as I'm blow-drying my hair halfway through in a hotel in Osaka and feeling miserable, I suddenly remembered I hadn't left a review for the Sapporo hotel yet. First, the location. It's really close to Sapporo Station, so dragging luggage across the ice wasn't too much of a hassle. It's convenient for getting everywhere. Hokkaido University is just a 5-minute walk, and Tanukikoji Shopping Street is about fifteen minutes away. There's also Suwa Shrine, famous for its beautiful charms. It made me feel like I was living there. Check-in was smooth. I just showed my passport at the front desk, and it was done quickly. The person who helped me then was a short-haired girl (I forget if she had bangs, but I think so) wearing glasses and speaking Chinese. She was patient and gentle, explaining all the hotel services in detail, like where the public bath was, how to connect to the room's Wi-Fi, etc. Very thoughtful and thorough. Speaking of the room, it was a bit bigger than the triple rooms I've stayed in in Tokyo and Osaka. It was clean, pretty, and most importantly, bright. The TV could cast to devices, and it was easy to use. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with 24-hour ventilation, so it was never damp. The bathtub was large and clean, and I soaked in it for two days straight. Writing this makes me even sadder because I'm currently standing with wet hair in the cramped bathroom of my Osaka hotel. I'll be leaving Japan in a few days. Sigh, I really miss Hokkaido. It probably would have been better if I had made Hokkaido the last stop of my Japan trip. Actually, during my days in Hokkaido, I had many regrets. For example, my planned afternoon trip to Tengu Mountain was canceled due to strong winds and cable car suspension. Another time, I went out early, but the blue sky was mostly covered by dark clouds, with only occasional glimpses of sun. And then there were the cold, strong winds. Several times, walking down the street, the wind was so strong I had to duck behind a building while waiting for the traffic light, just to steal a few seconds of warmth. There were also countless moments when I almost slipped. Now, thinking back, I actually feel nostalgic for them. When will I experience those moments again? I can only wish that every winter in my future life includes a few days in Hokkaido. On the day I went to Otaru, the temperature was -0.6 degrees Celsius, so cold! Along the canal, everyone was like they were ice skating. I was wearing snow boots I bought for 127 yuan in Tanukikoji, carefully stepping in the footprints of the person in front of me. The sky was so blue, the water so clear, and the houses on the distant mountains looked like a tiny world. I wondered what kind of life the people living there led. Every step offered a picturesque view. The path along the canal was neither long nor short. Actually, even if I had slipped, it wouldn't have mattered. If it made my impression of Hokkaido more vivid, something I'd remember decades later, or when I'm old, then it would be worth it. The day before I left, I went to Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Park. The vast white landscape was so clean, and the bare trees made the snowy scenery even more beautiful. A small stream flowed through the park. Closing my eyes, I could imagine it as a waterfall, its sleep-inducing sound not knowing where it led. Landing in Osaka, the rain was heavy, and I didn't have an umbrella. I got drenched walking across the streets to the hotel. Everything felt so different. It made me think of the tree downstairs at *that* hotel. Day in and day out, it was always there, watching travelers from different countries come and go like Hokkaido's snow, accumulating and melting. Watching them open Google Maps every morning to check their route and return at night with bags of convenience store goodies. A happy tree, witnessing so many happy journeys in Hokkaido that began from that hotel. It's 1:45 AM Japan time now. My hair is almost dry. I'm not very sleepy, but I have to go to bed. Tomorrow I'm off to Kyoto. Usually, I think a lot at night or get anxious about various things, but during my days in Hokkaido, I felt surprisingly good. Even with unfinished plans, my mood wasn't dampened. Perhaps that's what a truly good trip is, haha, a journey for the soul? Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.

GGuest UserDear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations. After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林).When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only. We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication. In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy. At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service. We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this message. We wish your team a pleasant and successful day. Best regards, Mandy

KKay AmioLocation is good. It is close to the central area. Room is spacious enough for 2. Although you cannot open 2 luggages at the same time. There’s a mini fridge and a kettle. Free coffee and tea. Also you can borrow hair curler and iron on the front desk. They also offer other things you can borrow like nail cutter and others. They change towels everyday. But room cleaning is not allowed until your 4th night. The view is nice too. Here’s a photo taken from our room.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe room isn't huge, but there's just enough space by the bathroom door for two suitcases. To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable. It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient. Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.
