"We had a very pleasant stay at Premier Hotel Cabin President Hakodate. The location is excellent and extremely convenient. Hakodate Morning Market is just nearby, making it very easy to enjoy fresh seafood in the morning. There is also a nice shio ramen restaurant just next to the hotel. The location made getting around Hakodate very easy. The room was comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay. Great choice for anyone visiting Hakodate, especially for the convenient location. Would stay here again!"

"There are 5 beds, perfect for a family. We could spread out our luggage, and the location was generally walkable, which was nice. The only downside was that the toilet and shower were combined and quite small. I've stayed in many hotels and guesthouses in Japan, and this bathroom was definitely on the smaller side. Location: It's right opposite Hakodate Station, which is excellent. Bus stops 11 and 12 in front of the station are for the shuttle to Hakodate Airport. Our room also faced Hakodate Station, which was a great view. Service: You can choose daily housekeeping or opt out. If you skip housekeeping, you can get fresh water at the front desk. However, we chose to have our room cleaned and beds made. On the first floor, there's a laundry room and self-service luggage storage. There's also a microwave on each floor right outside the elevator."

"The room was decent, clean, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. It was the best breakfast I had among all the hotels I stayed at during my 16-day self-guided trip in Japan. There was a young man at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and his service was excellent; he explained all the details clearly. Breakfast was served in two separate restaurants, one Japanese and one Western, and both were great. We chose the Japanese breakfast, but I peeked into the Western one afterward, and it looked just as abundant."

"- microwave and washing machine in the room(recommended to buy Hakodate milk and heat it up using microwave, make your own milktea using free tea bag from hotel) - great location, right beside hakodate morning market - there is a Hot spring bath with sea view - free coffee and a comfortable lounge with sea view - unpleasant check-in experience, one of the staff is impatient - No bottled water provided in the room. Check-in experience was a bit unpleasant when we arrived earlier (we knew we were early and weren’t requesting for early check-in). One of the male staff was quite unfriendly and kept repeating “no early check-in” when we were just asking whether we could store our luggage before check-in. He seemed quite impatient throughout. However, the rest of the staff were good, and even lent us a knife and cutting board to cut the melon we bought. Location is great, right beside the morning market, and only about a 7-minute walk to the JR station. We came during spring so the walk was totally fine."

"The hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience."

"The hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants. However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room. Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary. A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly. The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes. Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing."

"Pros: 1. Unbeatable Location: Extremely convenient! Just a 1-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station and 1 minute to the Hakodate Morning Market. 2. Compact yet Functional Room: Although the room is on the smaller side (16 sqm), the layout is very well-designed, so it didn't feel cramped at all. 3. Smooth Service: Fast and hassle-free check-in and check-out process. We opted for a 2-hour late check-out for an additional 2,000 JPY, which was totally worth it. Cons: Elevator Congestion: The only real downside during our stay was the heavy elevator congestion during morning peak hours (08:30–10:30). If you are heading out during this time, make sure to budget a little extra waiting time!"

"We loved our stay at Hotel Enoe Hakodate. The hotel is conveniently located for local things to do, including climbing Mt Hakodate, taking the cable car, visiting a local onsen, visiting the red brick warehouses and running along the water. There are also lots of lovely coffee shops, shops selling products by local artisans and bars nearby. The all you can eat breakfast was a highlight - everything was super fresh and tasty! It's a 20min walk to Hakodate Staation and the bulk of restaurants, but we enjoyed the walk."

"The hotel is just next to the station. We arrived by train on a windy and rainy day and were thankful that it’s just a short walk to the hotel. The room is spacious and the onsen is nice. The carpet is stained but we understand it’s common for hotel after some years. The hotel staff were helpful when we enquire about directions and asked to borrow umbrellas too. Though it rained on both days that we were in Hakodate, we still enjoyed ourselves using the city tram, which station is about 3mins walk across the Jr station. The market is also just less about 3mins walk away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the hotel and will stay here again if ever return and will recommend to friends."

"It's very close to the station and there's a Lawson nearby, but the area itself is quite desolate. The soundproofing isn't great, and it's an old hotel. However, the hygiene is acceptable, and the elevator is tiny. You can add breakfast for 600 NTD per person, available from 7-9 AM. There are plenty of food options nearby, so it's quite convenient. We took the bus everywhere."
