Hotels near Kinshicho Station, Tokyo

The room was very compact, which is fairly normal for Tokyo, but keeping luggage open was definitely a challenge. I wouldn’t recommend the queen bed for two plus-size guests, as space is quite limited. The location is great, away from the busy city center but still close and convenient to get into Tokyo. One downside was the lack of full room cleaning; only towel changes were offered, which felt a bit letdown for a multi-night stay. Amenities were decent and what you’d expect from a business hotel. There’s also a common coin laundry just a block away, which is convenient since the hotel doesn’t provide one. Overall, it was good value for the price, and staying here is a great way to be more budget friendly while remaining close to central Tokyo.

The service was great, and they offered luggage delivery, which was a godsend. The location is about a 5–7 minute walk from Kameido Station. However, the room size is not suitable for two people with two single beds. There was barely any space to walk, not to mention no room to open luggage. They provided an iron, but you can only use it for up to one hour, which felt quite restrictive. You have to pick it up from reception, walk to your room, do your ironing, and return it within that time. It would be better if they provided more irons so more guests could use them conveniently.

I stayed for two nights while on a business trip near Kinshicho. It's incredibly convenient as it's very close to Kinshicho Station. Although there's only a male public bath, having one available, along with complimentary breakfast, made it a more comfortable and affordable stay compared to other business hotels. The room and the en-suite toilet/bath were a bit small, but for business use, it wasn't an issue at all. The room had a wired LAN connection, but I think it would have been even better if Wi-Fi was available, or if I had a USB adapter. I'd definitely like to stay here again when I'm working in the Kinshicho area.

This area is less crowded, with a couple of malls nearby like Parco and Termina, so food and basic amenities are easily accessible. I really like that the room and bathroom are more spacious than usual. I could fully open my two large suitcases and still have space to move around. There’s also a humidifier in the room, which helps a lot with the dry air. We book a 2 single bed room and it fits perfectly for us and 1 kid. The 2 bed were combined with much space for all.

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. Their location is fabulous. I wanted to stay in the Sumida area and this hotel offered the right price and location. Just 3mins walk from Kinshicho JR and metro station. Just 3 stations by JR train and you are in Tokyo Station. Airport bus station is nearby too. For shopping, there are Termina (at JR station), Seiyu (with Muji and Toho Cinema) and Marui (where you can get delightful local snacks). Many 7-11, Family Mart and local restaurants around the hotel. Hotel service is great- check in/check out is seamless using the machine, free amenities such as bath salt, coffee/tea, comb, face mask at level 1. Level 2 has microwave oven, laundry machine and ice machine. I stayed on the 14th floor (got a free upgrade) and the room is nice and quiet. Room is pretty compact so it is just nice for a single person. Water is direct from the tap so it is very convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and will stay again next time I'm in Tokyo!

1. The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the North Exit of JR Kinshicho Station. If you accidentally exit from the South Exit, I recommend walking around to the North Exit from outside. If you re-enter through the South Exit and exit through the North Exit by swiping your card again, you'll be charged 150 JPY! 2. Kinshicho is a sub-center, and it has all the same department stores you'd find in the city center! Don Quijote, Yodobashi Camera, Parco, and more. If you're into shopping, Kinshicho has everything you need! Right next to the station is a food street, and across from the hotel, there are ramen, sushi, yakiniku, convenience stores... everything you could ask for! 3. The hotel is a bit old, but very clean. I booked a twin room, and it wasn't too small, though the beds were a little low. It's a shame the hotel doesn't have a self-service laundry machine. If you're not eating breakfast at the hotel, you can go to Matsuya across the street, or try Saizeriya for breakfast at Parco, or just grab something from a convenience store. 4. The sushi restaurant next to Don Quijote, across from the hotel, is fantastic. The sashimi is incredibly fresh, much better than what I had at Katsumidori in Shibuya.

I had a very satisfying stay. The facilities were well-equipped, and the bed space was generous, ensuring a comfortable sleep. There was plenty of room under the bed for a suitcase and a travel bag. There are many shops nearby, and the Tsukuba Express and Ginza Line right outside are very convenient. It's a bit far from Asakusa Station, so if you have luggage, remember to navigate and avoid the Senso-ji Temple area; take another route. My roommates were all considerate, and it was very quiet at night, though it's inevitable if you happen to get a snorer, haha.

This was my first stay here, and the only real issue was that the location is a bit far from the station. The staff were very kind. The only other minor thing was that some fellow guests were a little noisy, but nothing too bothersome. As I'm sensitive to smells, I really appreciated the air purifier and the coin laundry. The complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning were delicious. I'd like to try the cafe on the first floor next time. While some reviews have lower ratings, I think it really depends on the staff and guests present at the time.

The room was incredibly tiny, to put it mildly. Two people couldn't even have their suitcases open on the floor at the same time. At night, I'd accidentally steal my friend's blanket (from one of the two beds). In Japan, unless you specifically request it, hotel rooms aren't cleaned, and no one empties your trash. They also wouldn't let us check out early. Sigh.

When we arrived at the hotel early in the morning, we couldn't check in yet, so we left our luggage there. When we returned, our luggage and the items I had ordered were already thoughtfully placed in our room! Furthermore, when I needed to send something away, the front desk staff proactively helped me fill out the cash-on-delivery form, which made me feel very reassured. The hotel provides a limousine bus to and from the airport, but the service is infrequent and needs to be booked online in advance. This time, I stayed in a Skytree view room, which had a fantastic view. The room was also very clean, and the location was extremely convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station. There are supermarkets, department stores, discount stores, and many restaurants nearby. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time!
