Comfortable hotel for solo female tourists. Cleanliness was so good. Hotel has a free drinks on the 1st floor and some useful things like razors, toothbrush, hair brush, mouthwash and bath salt. In the room was pyjama and kettle.
Location is so convenient too. Near by roppongi hills and other popular places. Good transport hub.

It was my first time traveling to Tokyo, and I was really confused about staying in a B&B!
In fact, I was very dissatisfied with this B&B at the beginning, but objectively speaking, it was a system and service problem!
First of all, after booking a hotel on Ctrip, the hotel will tell you: click on their website one day in advance to upload the information of the guests. This link can really make people explode on the spot, because you can't access the Internet at all in China! This should be the point that Ctrip pays attention to, to communicate and find a more suitable solution. This wave of operations directly affects the check-in, because in terms of time, I couldn't open the webpage before landing in Japan. Even if I arrived, I had to do this and that in a hurry. Finally, I arrived at the door of the hotel and didn't receive the room password!
Check-in is not convenient at all! Network restriction problem, no communication in advance, waiting at the door every minute, I made an appointment to arrive at Shibuya Sky at 17:40, but because I didn't have the password, I waited for 40 minutes in the B&B! I wanted to take pictures of Shibuya at sunset, but I missed it when I got there! ! ! ! I am very dissatisfied with this! ! So I gave 3 points for the service! ! !
Let's talk about things that are not related to human factors.
Facilities: The facilities are good and clean. There are band-aids, cotton swabs, cooking, washing clothes, soap powder, detergent, etc. The bathroom is noteworthy. It is very comfortable to take a shower.
Hygiene: I think it is very good. Don't be picky. I think it is very clean.
Environment: This homestay is not difficult to find. It is just on the roadside. There is a subway and a Family Mart within 100 meters, and there is also a drugstore! I personally think it is very convenient. Go downstairs from the homestay and walk a few steps to the right to reach the subway entrance! You can see Tokyo Tower 200 meters to the left, which I think is very convenient.
Service: Let's not talk about it. Taste it yourself. I give it 2đ because neither Ctrip nor the homestay has considered that the Internet cannot be opened in China.
In addition to the service, other conveniences are really recommended. When we left, we also cleaned up and left. Give yourself a thumbs up!
A 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station.
Close to the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Ginza, and more, this hotel is extremely convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo.
It's also close to Tokyo Tower and located along the JR Yamanote Line, making travel very easy.
The room type is a mixed-gender dormitory room.

Located in Shimbashi Station, Minato Ward, it's only about 1km from Tokyo Tower. Shimbashi Station offers incredibly convenient access to Shibuya and Shinjuku. There's also a smoking room, the hygiene is decent, and the facilities are comprehensive. They have coin-operated washing machines and a large public area with a microwave and a refrigerator. The toilet even comes with sanitary pads. A FamilyMart convenience store is just a few steps away, and there are vending machines right outside the entrance. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

The room was a bit small, but it had all the essential amenities. The bathroom was quite tiny, and it would be cramped for two people. If you want a Tokyo Tower view room, make sure to book the room type shown with the Tokyo Tower in the picture and request 'tower view' in your notes. During the May Day holiday, the Tokyo Tower lights shut off at midnight. Breakfast was a bit pricey, costing an additional 150 or 190 per person (can't quite remember the exact amount), but the variety was excellent, and the freshly made cheese scrambled eggs were delicious. You can see the Tokyo Tower from the breakfast restaurant. The lobby is beautiful, and they offer luggage storage on both check-in and check-out days. The staff were all very friendly.

Honestly, I'm extremely disappointed with my stay at this hostel... But I'd like to point out that it was clean, the women's dorm had plenty of sinks, and the capsule itself had a curtain.
Cons:
1. A huge negative for me is that the kitchen is only open from 8-9 a.m.; I'm not there during that time. I couldn't get in for four days, and the kitchen is important to me because I often cook for myself.
2. There's no common area/lounge area, so I had to eat outside by the door, in the cold. It's terrible.
3. You have to enter a code everywhere, on every door and even in the elevator. I was constantly afraid of losing my key with the codes.
4. Luggage storage is also only available until 9 a.m., which is inconvenient.
Overall, if you don't need a kitchen, it's fine. If you do, it's a poor choice.

The location is fantastic, right next to Mita subway station, opening up to a business district. It's just a few minutes' walk to Tokyo Tower, Shiba Park, and Keio University. Getting to Haneda Airport by subway takes about 40 minutes. If you're just making a short stop in Tokyo before flying out of Haneda, this is a great value-for-money option.
Sakurada-dori street has plenty of food options, from Japanese fast food to small local eateries, and there's even an izakaya street just outside Keio University's East Gate, so you're spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. The hostel itself is also very good: clean bedding, good privacy, and a safe environment. The washing and laundry facilities are convenient. There's a lounge available for eating, charging devices, and passing the time. The guests are generally well-behaved. The only downside is that you can hear guests coming and going at night. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, which is very convenient.

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia-gai and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few drawbacks worth noting.
Location:
The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk of several train stations and the monorail, making it an excellent base for exploring Tokyo. The surrounding Italia-gai district is calm and charming, with relatively light local traffic. However, the noise insulation leaves much to be desired. Trains from multiple nearby lines can be heard frequently and quite loudly from early morning till late at night. Additionally, the nearby fire department sirens are audible, though not as disruptive as the trains.
Room:
By Tokyo standards, the room was spacious and comfortable. However, I noticed blackish deposits around the air-conditioning outlet, which I hoped were not mold. To err on the side of caution, I chose not to operate the AC during my stay. Aside from this concern, the room was generally satisfactory.
Service:
Check-in and check-out were efficient and convenient via automated machines. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, and assisted with any additional questions.
Room service was thorough and reliable, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment throughout my stay.
Breakfast:
The breakfast buffet offered a mix of Japanese and European-style dishes. The taste and quality were acceptable, with an average but adequate selection. Between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, the restaurant becomes extremely crowded, often resulting in no available seating and a wait outside. The space feels undersized for the number of guests, making the atmosphere less comfortable during peak hours. It would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about busy times to allow for better planning.
Overall:
This hotel offers a convenient location, spacious rooms, and friendly service. However, improvements in soundproofing, breakfast crowd management, and room maintenance would significantly enhance the guest experience.
A new urban hotel with a large bath and swimming pool!

My stay at APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the team was always polite, attentive, and ready to assist with any questions.
The location is absolutely perfectâsituated in the vibrant Roppongi area, yet tucked away just enough to provide a peaceful and relaxing environment. Itâs within easy walking distance of multiple subway stations, making it incredibly convenient to explore Tokyo. Whether you're interested in nightlife, dining, or sightseeing, everything is right at your doorstep.
The rooms, while compact as expected in Tokyo, are exceptionally well-designed. Every inch of space is utilized thoughtfully, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient, including high-quality toiletries, a large TV, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi.
One of the standout features of this hotel is the resort-style facilities. The public bath (onsen) was a highlight of my stayâspotlessly clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The pool and other amenities add an extra layer of comfort that you donât always find in city hotels.
The breakfast buffet was another pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, making it a great way to start the day.
Overall, APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi offers incredible value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and excellent service in one of Tokyoâs most exciting districts. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo, whether for business or leisure, and I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Shiba-koen subway station. For those traveling light, you can even walk from JR Tamachi Station in about 10 minutes. Tamachi is just two stops from Shinagawa, making it really easy to get to both Haneda and Narita airports. Shiba Park is just diagonally across the street, which was perfect for an early morning photo session with the Tokyo Tower â no crowds, just me and my camera! Then I'd head back for breakfast. Right out of the hotel, if you turn right, there's a large FamilyMart. Turn right again past the FamilyMart and you'll find Shiba Shopping Street, with two supermarkets where you can buy delicious sashimi. The hotel itself is a bit old, I'll admit, but it's very clean and the staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. This area is a traditional Japanese business and residential district, so it's very quiet. It's ideal for anyone looking to experience a peaceful Japanese atmosphere; after 6 PM, the streets are pretty empty. If you're looking for nightlife and excitement, you'd be better off staying in places like Odaiba or Asakusa. Finally, about breakfast: it'll fill you up, no problem. But if you're looking for a special breakfast experience, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with breakfast included. You get what you pay for, and for this price, what more can you ask for?

Great
GGuest UserThe twin rooms all face JR Station. We were initially given a room on the fifth floor, and it was so noisy we couldn't sleep at all. After telling the front desk, they kindly moved us to the eleventh floor, which we really appreciate. There's still a faint train noise, but it doesn't disturb our rest. Overall, the location is great and convenient for getting around.
GGuest UserReally enjoy my stay here, the location is unbeatable since it's walking distance to many metro lines, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating, the onsen is also very clean, the juice bar in the morning and bar in the evening were also great touches. There is only one elevator but I didn't find it to be a deal breaker, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an âinspectionâ but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said âoh... sorryâ suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
FFubutianHoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores.
The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible.
However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences â from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business.
SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. Thereâs a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinksâperfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay hereâthe price is very reasonable too.
GGuest UserHere's a review of a hotel located in the heart of Akasaka, offering easy access to two subway lines. It's a quiet business-boutique hotel with more spacious rooms than similar establishments, making it ideal for commuting to the city center or exploring Roppongi/Akasaka.
**Key Highlights (Reasons to Choose This Hotel):**
1. **Dual Subway Access + Central Akasaka â Convenient for Anywhere:**
* Approximately a 4-minute walk to Akasaka Station and a 6-minute walk to Tameike-Sanno Station, covering multiple lines for easy access to Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station. Haneda Airport is about 45-60 minutes away.
* Within walking distance of Roppongi, Tokyo Midtown, and Akasaka Sacas, boasting vibrant shopping and dining areas. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located downstairs, making daily life easy.
* The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a better option for rest compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya.
2. **More Spacious and Well-Designed Rooms Than Other Japanese Hotels in the Same Category:**
* Standard rooms are approximately 15-18 sqm, larger than most business hotels in Tokyo, allowing two large suitcases to be opened without feeling cramped.
* Comfortable bedding with memory foam/low-rebound pillows. Bathrooms feature bathtubs and smart toilets, with stable water pressure and temperature. Amenities are comprehensive.
* Good natural light, with most rooms feeling bright and airy. Cleanliness is up to Japanese standards.
3. **Practical Facilities, Suitable for Long Stays/Families:**
* A coin-operated laundry room is available on the 12th floor (washing 300 JPY/drying 100 JPY), and microwaves are on multiple floors, friendly for long-term guests.
* A small, complimentary gym on the 3rd floor is a bonus for business travelers or fitness enthusiasts.
* Cribs/children's amenities can be arranged, making it family-friendly. The front desk offers multilingual service, with fluent English, and handles luggage storage/package receiving efficiently.
4. **Consistent Service, Thoughtful Details:**
* The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly. Small items like chargers and hair straighteners can be borrowed, with some guests reporting feeling 'valued'.
* Free high-speed Wi-Fi is stable. Some periods offer guidance.
GGuest UserThe hotel room was a bit small, but that's acceptable for the price. The biggest issue was that the fridge barely cooled at all; it was more for show than for actual use.
GGuest UserEasy 6-7min walk to Keisei-Ueno (Skyliner) station and Ueno station. Main and Annex blocks. Single room SUPER SMALL. Unable to fully open clam-shell suitcase on the floor. Have to place it on âfoldableâ table.Â
HUGE Pillar about 70cmx70cm occupies 1 corner of the room. Widest path between bed and wall about 80 cm.
GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also wonât store your luggage after you check out so if youâre planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.
