Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ms. Kusum was very kind and professional and even changed the room according to our need. Breakfast was with good spread as usual for JW standards. Only setback, too many guests. Crowded during breakfast and lobbies were filled with people due to weddings and events. Otherwise service, amenities and pool areas were all lovely. Satisfied, No regrets

While the booking process and stay experience were satisfactory, I would like to highlight a concerning pricing discrepancy. The rate quoted on Trip.com was approximately 40% higher than the price offered directly by the hotel for the same room category and stay dates. This difference is significant, and frankly unexpected, especially considering that I am a Diamond member with your platform. As a valued member, I expect Trip.com to provide competitive or preferential rates, not higher than what the property itself offers. I request a review of this pricing inconsistency and an explanation of how such a large variation occurred. Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Very friendly staff and good location. Although 3 stars is a bit high. It is rather 2,5 stars. Breakfast was a good start of the day, continental and Indian. Room was small and old, ac noisy. But who cares; you don’t go to Kolkata to stay in your room. On the roof was a terrace where you can eat and drink. All in all great stay. Will definitely come back next time

Clean and very comfortable room. Excellent mattress & pillows. Best hotel for a transit stop. Late night receptionist - prosenjit & capable efficient kishan made the entire process flawless. Jayasree - receptionist in the afternoon was very personable too. Special mention to the kitchen team for arranging a packed breakfast since i was checking out before the restaurant could open for breakfast. I'm coming back to this hotel incase of a similar travel situation for sure! well done, ra vista hotel & staff

The staff forgets sometimes for what they have asked the client to hold on. Happened with me, whereas I was asked to wait during check-in and later the same person asked me why I was waiting.

Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.

It was a pleasant and beautiful experience with you, the staff was awesome and cooperative. The service of food and house-keeping was marvelous. It's a memorable stay with you and i hope i will enjoy the same in future

Room no 113 excellent large room clean bathroom. food quality is good with a price range nominal. stap quality good

Hotel is nearby birla school, mint o park. Park street and Arselan biryani ( park circus) is walkable distance. Theater road join birla platarium. Rate is quite high on the basis of service. Breakfast is not good. Charging for drinking water. Restaurant was full of hukka lover in the evening. Smoke is everywhere in restaurant.
