"The rooms are modern and well maintained, with a good comfort. Breakfast is varied and delicious, perfect for the start of the day.
A quality hotel, ideal for business travellers or those looking for a quiet and comfortable place."
"We stayed at Trident for 2 nights. They added an extra bed for our child, so the room was very comfortable. Rooms are solid, there are some flaws, and they are not new, but the hotel is excellent, and the service is extraordinary. Breakfast is a must, don't skip it as it is wonderful."
"There are two lemon tree hotels in the same city. This house is much better than the other, the room can give two room cards, the service attitude is very good, the disadvantage is that the English at the counter is very poor, the Indian accent is very heavy"
"I had a flight that was postponed to the evening instead of the original morning time schedule. As such I needed a hotel that was near Chennai Airport for me to rest. Radisson Blu was very near the Airport, about 10 mins drive away. The hotel and room was excellent and very clean. The breakfast and lunch buffet had a wide range and very tasty. Most importantly, the staff, from the counter staff at check-in and check-out , to the concierge, the staff and managers at the restaurant and the driver of the car for the Hotel's Airport transfer were very helpful, polite and engaged me in genuine conversations to find out how my stay in the hotel was and if I needed anything. I truly enjoyed the short stay I had in the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is only near the Airport, and is quite a drive away from the city centre.
But am excellent Hotel nevertheless."
"Hotel looks old and too far to some locations. Didn't like the room given on the first day. Front office staff Mr Akash was very helpful to change our rooms the next day. And the conceige ( I forgot his name) was very helpful too.
We had a nice stay there."
"Every thing very good
Excellent complimentary breakfast
Only on thing I encounter bad that is smell off bath towel it’s very bad smell off cockroach may be storage of towels in house keeping should give more thorough checking"
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ambika Empire. The hospitality of the staff was truly exceptional, especially the General Manager, Mr. Kalainathan, and the Food & Beverage Manager, Mr. Rajesh, who were extremely courteous and attentive.
Every staff member from the bell boys to the reception team was warm, professional, and always ready to help. The breakfast was amazing, with great variety and taste.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel."
"Close to the airport, there's a church nearby which is a local attraction that draws visitors. Place is clean but they cup provided was not. Could be better organised."
"Good and spacious room, prime location.
Had a good stay. Morning breakfast is nice and better.
Hair dryer not available in room,if included it will be good. "

Great
GGuest UserIt was a nice experience and quality service provided by hotel staff. We stayed for 2 nights. The food in Hyatt regency was nice. That was the best Indian food we ever tried. Special thanks go to front desk officer Ms Saraswathi, and concierge Mr Daniel, Mr Vijay , Mr Rajini. Also food the spic restaurant are amazing, special thanks to restaurant staff Mr Arindam, Mr Rajesh & Mr Kartik. Overall Hyatt Regency staff make extra miles to make our stay an amazing and memorable holiday. Planning to travel again with kids.
GGuest UserStayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins.
Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages.
Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for!
Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him.
Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette.
Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day!
Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai!
We will surely return.
My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors.
GGuest UserWhere do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.
The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!
Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.
Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. They made our short trip to Chennai a memorable one and we look forward to coming again very soon!
Kudos to everyone at Taj Connemara for ensuring my family and I have a great time at your hotel.
Regards,
Linges
MMalik_ExplorerThe hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.
Ssurithambal sundaramIts such very peaceful place and great environment, the sus chef mr anand was very helpful and kind to us , the Manager ajith also helped us alot , such a great team .
Opinion-
1.please change the bunk bed otherwise everything was good .
2. The payment method please give us cash option cause we foreigner can’t use g-pay (*we forget our card )but the manager helped us to settle the issue
Thank you Marriot Team 🙌🏻💯
TTheBugHad a pleasant stay for 3 nights. The room was spacious and super clean. Breakfast could not be better, they had a live cooking station for orders to cook, a variety for everyone. We went for drinks at the terrace on our third night as it wasnt raining and was accompanied by a live band. Recommended place to stay if you're planning on netflix and chill in the room.
GGuest UserThe toilet/bathroom is very small and the fittings appear quite old. The setup does not seem to have been upgraded for many years and definitely needs renovation.
The room phone was not working, which was inconvenient during the stay.
The food quality is good, however the breakfast management needs improvement. Guests are allowed into the dining area without proper seating allocation, so we had to wait and search for a table ourselves. When all tables are occupied, the staff should manage the flow of guests instead of allowing everyone in at once.
Overall: It is acceptable for a short stay of a couple of nights, but it may not be ideal for a comfortable leisure stay.
GGuest UserLocation: Excellent
Facilities: Good
Service: Unsatisfactory
1. There was no one to greet us upon arrival
2. Our suitcases were unattended and we had to carry them to our room ourselves.
3. Mosquitoes everywhere.
4. We had to request for mosquito repellent. The hotel staff should be more attentive and ensure rooms are stocked with essentials.
5. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not even warm (forget hot food). We only ordered some fries and a sandwich - not sure if the fries were prepared and shipped from France 😂
Will never opt this place again.
GGuest Usergood services and location. silent atmosphere good food and variety of breakfast. the only problem was that in online booking it is shown smoking is allowed where in it is a non smoking property. should change it becomes difficult for smokers
GGuest UserThe location was great and the rooms were very well maintained. The staff was courteous and well behaved. The food and selection of drinks was good too. Overall, it was a good stay.
