뜨리마카시Located in a residential-like area. The room felt like a palace and was very clean. There's no one at the front desk, so you have to shout to get their attention. They have a sauna and a swimming pool, and the owner, an older lady, has a lot of charisma. If you want to use the sauna, make sure to tell the staff an hour in advance so they can turn on the boiler. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Guest UserWe really enjoyed staying here! Especially the swimming pool. The vibes is like in Bali. Close to go anywhere around Dago and no traffic. We will come back here again!

The hotel is a great place to stay, the staff is so friendly and warmly welcome us. For a three star hotel, they provided amenities more than a four star hotel. A safe and mini fridge are available in each room. The breakfast' plates, cups, saucers were warm and clean. The food is nice and well prepared by their kitchen. The price is almost the same with the market at the hotel surroundings. Check-in and check-out time is very efficient and quick.

ItchyButtA hidden cute boutique hotel that passes its prime but if maintenance is done properly... It will be a good GEM 💎 .
Nearby to eateries and spa outlets.
In a quiet street for which you will get a good night sleep.
Food was great breakfast and restaurant
But the toilet smell of sewage at time...
And stain on sofa.. for which a reupholstered to a darker tone of color will do good

Guest UserThis hotels in serious need of a renovation I’m sure when it was built. It was a beautiful hotel now things look a bit rundown. It’s about as clean as you can possibly get it and the staff is good. I believe it just needs a renovation for example in the main elevator, the carpet in there was very old and dirty. There’s still carpet in the rooms. I think you would benefit from just hardwood floors if you have carpet in a hotel it should be new. I looked at the information on this hotel before writing this review and it says that it was built in the 90s. You can definitely tell the furniture and the air conditioner looked very old. It says that there was a renovation at the beginning of 2000s well that means that it hasn’t been renovated in 20 years and that’s very apparent this hotel definitely has potential but I don’t think that the cost is justified

RiwathaHonestly, getting room 618 was quite a struggle, and I got help from 'someone' to check in during Eid al-Fitr holiday, Day 5. I negotiated for a 1:30 PM check-in, but felt bad and arrived at 2:30 PM, only to find the single bed still not ready. So, I ended up checking in at 3 PM as per SOP, according to the grumpy receptionist. SOP, whatever.
Initially, the service was frustrating and made me regret my choice. The TV only had local channels, and they weren't clean. There's a cash deposit of IDR 100k. The shower water at night was full hot, no regular temperature. Then in the morning, it was full cold, no hot or warm. No wardrobe or fridge either.

I stayed at Shakti Capsule Cihampelas in Bandung from May 11 to May 14, 2025. It was a great choice for my stay in the city.
The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cihampelas, close to shops, food stalls, and attractions. I also rented a motorbike from RMB - Rental Motor Bandung, which made getting around even easier.
The capsules were clean, cozy, and well-lit. I had a comfortable rest every night. The shared facilities, like the bathroom and common area, were always tidy. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay.
The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth.
Overall, it’s a solid option for solo travelers or anyone looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay in Bandung. I would stay here again!

Everything is ok... the staff are friendly... but from the first check in I asked for a doormat until the check out never arrived 😥... maybe it can be improved again in the future huh?

Review: 3.5/5
My stay at was decent, though there were a few areas for improvement. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to public transport and local attractions, which made exploring the area easy. However, the surroundings were a bit noisy, and I could hear traffic from my room at night.
The staff were polite and helpful, but service could have been quicker, especially during check-in. It took longer than expected, and there was some confusion about my booking. Once sorted, the staff did their best to make up for the delay.
The room was clean but quite basic. The bed was comfortable enough, though the furniture and decor felt outdated. I also noticed that the bathroom needed better upkeep, with some worn fixtures that could use replacing.
The breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety of options, though nothing stood out as particularly memorable. It would have been nice to see more fresh choices and better coffee.
The facilities, including the pool and gym, were functional but nothing special. The pool area could use more seating, and the gym equipment seemed a bit old.
In summary, it offers a fair experience for the price, but with a few upgrades and attention to detail, it could easily improve. It’s an acceptable option for short stays but may not meet expectations for a more luxurious experience.
