Hotels near Oia Caldera, Santorini

This was the most expensive hotel I stayed at during my entire trip to Italy, Vatican City, and Greece. Even in the off-season, it cost €1300 per night, plus a daily city tax of €9. The hotel is located in Oia. A taxi ride there cost me €30 one way (price for reference). This area features the buildings frequently seen on Santorini postcards. The Nano Hotel is located above the island's No. 1 restaurant on Dianping (a separate post; I found the food neither good nor the service particularly enthusiastic, and the view from the hotel was better than from the hotel itself). Next to the hotel is the famous blue-domed church. Actually, I noticed that almost all the churches on the island have blue domes. If you use Gaode Maps, you'll only see the one in Fira. The hotel offers cave rooms (a bit damp, but manageable with the dehumidifier). The bathroom is rather low, which is a drawback, and the zipper doesn't zip, so water easily splashes out. The room itself is incredibly spacious, basically a large one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom, one-kitchen layout. There's a large open-air balcony outside (most hotels have this), where you can sit and have breakfast. So relaxing! There's a jacuzzi where you can soak and lie down while enjoying the scenery – the experience is unbeatable! As for the tourists coming and going at the entrance and the occasional horse manure on the ground, just ignore it; nothing is perfect. The staff carried our luggage (about 300 meters from the only parking lot in town) and could act as an intermediary to recommend yacht trips. We paid €105 per person for half a day on a 7-person yacht, including a BBQ meal, swimming in the sea, and watching the sunset – absolutely perfect!

Facilities: I like it very much, the room is super big. There is a big swimming pool outside the room, I took a lot of beautiful photos Sanitation: Very clean Environment: Good Service: Very good, they will ask you when you want to have breakfast, what you like to eat, and then deliver it to your room door very punctually

Location: BEST. Right on top of the restaurant. This restaurant is right in front of the Bus Terminal. All the buses start and interchange at Fira. When the bus arrives in Oia, it stops right in front of this restaurant. And the hostel is right behind the restaurant. So this hostel is in a great location, yet without the noise as it's away from the bus. Basically, 8 beds. Each has a curtain. Bed 5 is the best. Lower bunk, with privacy. Toilet is small, with no towels and toiletries. Be sure to get yours. Else, you can get it from a provision shop that is 5 minutes walk away. Most of the shower room light is not working. So u must close your eyes to shower. This hostel is near to all the good spots for photo shoots in Oia. So if I'm back in Oia, I'll still come here. You don't get to meet the owner. All communication is via Whatsapp. But they are very responsive. And i like that. There is house keeping everyday. So it's great. On my 1st night, the lady sleeping right across me was *********** and *********** with the Portugal guy all night. Eventually, that guy jumped onto her bed. I almost wanted to ask him to exchange his bed with mine. Both of them met each other in the hostel. The Portugal guy has been staying there quite a while. The lady came only 1 night before me.

First of all, the view is really great. Thanks to the caldera view from the terrace, I don't think you need to go to a restaurant with a view. The breakfast is also rich and the room is clean. It's a little humid, so if you put the air conditioner in the room on heating mode, it'll be perfect for sleeping.

Stayed in Santorini for 3 nights and stayed in 2 hotels. The first night was a more expensive cave hotel, and then moved to this hotel. Although this room has no sea view, only a small corner of Blue Domed Church Santorini can be seen from the room, but the reception and bell boy here are much friendly. The smile of the reception was very kind, bell boy was happy to carry our luggage from the previous hotel to Museum Project Oia. On the day of departure, we moved our luggage to the bus stop. They will also prepare a rich breakfast for us, and when they are ready, they will knock on our door and ask us to enjoy it by the pool. The hotel room is a bit small and cannot fully open a big cockroach. There is a small table in the room full of coffee machines, dumplings, cups, phones, etc. When you use it, you are afraid of the domino effect pushing everything down, so be careful. Fortunately, we chose to have breakfast by the pool, not in the room. I really don't dare to imagine how to dine in the room. There is an electric power station on each side of the bed. There is a wardrobe near the door. The bathroom is a bit small. The enterprise cylinder has no shower curtain and no glass blocking, so the whole bathroom will be wet when taking a bath. There is a small air window in the bathroom facing the back street, but it cannot be closed tightly, so the sound of the street can be clearly heard. Fortunately, no car can arrive, but there are pedestrians in the room 🚶, not too noisy. The hotel provides personal cleaning supplies, and it is a famous brand Korres in Greece! There is no direct access to the pool from the hotel room. We have to go to the crowded shopping street first, turn a corner, walk into the alleys before we can reach the pool. So to swim in the water, only wearing a swimsuit 🩱 bathrobe will be a bit embarrassing 😳, it is a bit troublesome to wear neat clothes. But from the busy shopping street, to the quiet swimming pool, lying in a large round outdoor chair, looking at the sky with not much clouds, looking at the kitten 🐈 walking, listening to the sound of the birds, and feeling so comfortable. It’s just that the pool is not a warm pool. We stayed at the hotel in June and still felt that the water temperature was colder. Breakfast is not self-service, but it is very rich. One person has fruit/Greek cheese, scallops/Greek scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bag 🥖, toast/banner, orange juice, hot drinks. For the ladies, the amount is really a lot, you should not be able to eat, or you don't have to eat lunch. Overall, the hotel is recommended, convenient location, just in the shopping street, no 10 minutes to the bus stop. The room was also cleaned 🧹 clean.

Since it was before the main tourist season, there was only one other guest, and they treated us with incredible kindness. The hotel is located at the entrance to Oia, so it takes about a 5-minute walk to reach the main area with the white houses. However, this actually added to the charming, rustic atmosphere, which I really enjoyed.

It is located just a short walk from the Oia bus stop. Access is no problem. It's in the opposite direction from where you can see the sunset, so if you're looking forward to that, we recommend a different hotel. You can see the sea from your room.

The most important thing you need to know is not a hotel. It's a guest house! And reading the reviews, I immediately understood it and I wanted to go there. And I was not disappointed at all. I was kind of caught up in a big Greek family (the grandson had a birthday), where I was taken as his own and it was very comfortable and good for me. I felt like I had come to my grandparents for a holiday. I do not understand people who write negatively about the hosts - no respect for age! I imagine how difficult it is for them to support such a big house. It is a house with history, a house of people who have made Santorini as we now know it. My room was small but the bed was comfortable, in the shower hot water, everything needed was also. In the morning the hostess fed full breakfast, although breakfast was not included. Chocolate cake is incredibly incredible! The sunset on the roof is beautiful. All top locations are literally two steps, but I didn't even want to leave. I highly recommend those who value the soul, identity and history.

The location is excellent, 5 minutes to the famous sunset location  oia castle , the space is wide,  has a balcony, breakfast is average, the water pressure in the room is problematic, the water pressure is sometimes very small when taking a bath, it takes a lot of time to clean it.

Nice rooms, renovated. Our room was facing a wall so not the best view for sure. Daily cleaning was not the greatest. Service at the reception was overall unfriendly and pushed us to book a tour which was pretty average selling it as the best we could do.  We loved the breakfast in the room and the guy coming to serve us breakfast was very nice.
