"We had a wonderful stay at The Clermont London, Victoria. The location is excellent, with the hotel situated right next to Victoria Underground Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around London. Our child received a lovely welcome teddy bear upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. As there were three of us, we were also given three complimentary drink tokens that could be redeemed at any of the hotel's restaurants. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The only minor inconvenience was that we had to take one lift to the 4th floor, walk through a connecting corridor to another building, and then take a second lift to reach our room. One feature we really appreciated was the direct access to Victoria Station via the hotel's back entrance. When returning to the hotel, we could simply tap our room key card to enter through the back entrance instead of walking around to the main entrance. There is also a convenience store just outside the back entrance, and the Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing buses stop right in front of the hotel. Buckingham Palace is within easy walking distance, making this an ideal base for sightseeing. The breakfast was Western-style, with a good selection of hot and cold items, and the quality was good. However, the menu remained largely the same each morning. It would be great if the hotel could offer a little more variety for guests staying multiple nights. Complimentary drinking water is available upon request. The only thing to note is that the bathroom has a shower-over-bathtub rather than a separate walk-in shower. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable location. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London."

"I stayed at Sidney Hotel Victoria during a very unexpected and urgent two-day trip to London. Because everything happened last minute, I had very little time to choose where to stay. This hotel simply seemed like the most practical option. I had seen a few mixed reviews beforehand, so I arrived with fairly normal expectations. What I experienced instead was a stay that genuinely exceeded them. I arrived at the hotel at around 4:00 AM after a long and exhausting journey. Despite the extremely late hour, I was welcomed by two incredibly kind and professional staff members at reception who helped me check in quickly and smoothly. I had forgotten to bring a UK adapter, which could have easily been a problem, but they kindly lent me one without hesitation. That small gesture already made a huge difference after such a long night. When I entered the room I was honestly surprised. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and absolutely spotless. Everything was perfectly prepared and very well maintained. It had all the essentials a traveler needs, including a kettle with instant coffee and tea, toiletries, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. After reading some reviews beforehand, I was not expecting the room to be this pleasant, so it was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was a simple English breakfast, but it was fresh, satisfying, and more than enough to start the morning feeling full and ready for the day. It was exactly what you need before heading out to explore the city. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. The staff were very helpful and kindly stored my luggage for a few hours before I had to leave for my flight, which made my last day in London much easier and stress free. I would especially like to thank Manali for her warm smile and welcoming personality. She truly made the stay even more memorable. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and we shared a bit of small talk that made the experience feel very personal and genuine. Staff members like her are truly what make a hotel stand out. My overall experience at Sidney Hotel Victoria was excellent. The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London."

"The room was quite spacious for central London, and it was super convenient for seeing Wicked, right next to the theatre. It's also just a two-minute walk from the tube station, making it easy to get anywhere."

"Great location very easy checking in and explanation in getting to our capsule was very clear. The toilets and showers were mostly clean and I did see cleaners in there through out the day. I took a lock with me for when I was not in the capsule and was happy to use it so we could leave our bags and feel secure. The bed was comfortable and clean and with plug socket and cable section a fan for circulation and light everything you need."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Victoria train station and about ten minutes from the Tube station. To the right, just a short walk away, is the long-distance bus station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel's layout is quite compact, with many twists and turns inside. The front desk staff, perhaps seeing I was traveling alone, gave me a room on the first floor. Although small, the room had everything I needed and was very clean. I could even open a standard-sized suitcase after closing the bathroom door. According to the fire escape plan, this room was in the middle of the first floor, so while there was some train noise, it wasn't too loud. However, other guests closing their doors late at night were quite noisy! The internet in the room was good; I could play Honor of Kings and Genshin Impact without any lag. The 9 AM breakfast was quite mediocre, and the towels were a bit old. They do offer free luggage storage."

"The staff were especially wonderful and I felt at ease. As others have written, there is no elevator, but the staff carried my heavy luggage up to the third floor, which was very helpful. All the necessary amenities were provided. I was a little worried because hot water was taking a while to come out of the shower, but after waiting for a while, it came out fine and I was relieved. If I have the opportunity to go again, I would like to use it! Thank you very much."

"The location was incredibly convenient, with Buckingham Palace and Big Ben within walking distance. Plus, Victoria Station and St. James's Park Station were both just a short walk away. Breakfast typically started at 7 AM on weekdays, but on Sunday, it was 8 AM. I had an early flight from Gatwick and was worried about missing it, but the hotel kindly prepared a takeout breakfast for me just after 7 AM, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay."

"Good location, very close to Victoria Station, and there are many shops in the area. Our room was in an annex building in the basement, and it was tiny. The worst part was the sewer smell we had to endure for all four nights of our stay. I expected something much better from a Best Western hotel. Poor value for money."

"I stayed in a B-level room, and it seems like others have mentioned this too: it's right by the hallway and the service area. There's all sorts of water noises at night, and the slamming of doors from the next room is incredibly loud. The location is absolutely terrible. The service is good, and the hygiene is pretty clean, but it's ridiculous that this basement room has no window (which wasn't mentioned). Other than that, everything else is fine, the facilities are decent, and the bathroom is very clean. Free Wi-Fi is provided."

"This hotel is absolutely perfect. It has all the benefits of big hotels while offering a homey feeling. The lobby area is super inviting and comfy (watching a match of the world cup with other people staying there was so much fun!). The rooms are not super big, but they are so well organized that they feel roomy. The amenities in the room are of top quality (hello Smeg!) and the fridge is a decent size to put lots of food if you prefer cooking to eating out. You have all you need closeby, including the Victoria Station which is central to so many things, it made traveling around so easy! We had a room on the 4th floor on the street side and we didn't hear a sound, so sleeping was super easy! The beds are super comfortable and the table area is very well organized when having a meal. And I cannot say enough about the staff! They are super helpful and quick to help, and always with a smile! I am now a The July fan for life!"
