"I stayed at Sidney Hotel Victoria during a very unexpected and urgent two-day trip to London. Because everything happened last minute, I had very little time to choose where to stay. This hotel simply seemed like the most practical option. I had seen a few mixed reviews beforehand, so I arrived with fairly normal expectations. What I experienced instead was a stay that genuinely exceeded them. I arrived at the hotel at around 4:00 AM after a long and exhausting journey. Despite the extremely late hour, I was welcomed by two incredibly kind and professional staff members at reception who helped me check in quickly and smoothly. I had forgotten to bring a UK adapter, which could have easily been a problem, but they kindly lent me one without hesitation. That small gesture already made a huge difference after such a long night. When I entered the room I was honestly surprised. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and absolutely spotless. Everything was perfectly prepared and very well maintained. It had all the essentials a traveler needs, including a kettle with instant coffee and tea, toiletries, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. After reading some reviews beforehand, I was not expecting the room to be this pleasant, so it was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was a simple English breakfast, but it was fresh, satisfying, and more than enough to start the morning feeling full and ready for the day. It was exactly what you need before heading out to explore the city. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. The staff were very helpful and kindly stored my luggage for a few hours before I had to leave for my flight, which made my last day in London much easier and stress free. I would especially like to thank Manali for her warm smile and welcoming personality. She truly made the stay even more memorable. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and we shared a bit of small talk that made the experience feel very personal and genuine. Staff members like her are truly what make a hotel stand out. My overall experience at Sidney Hotel Victoria was excellent. The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London."

"The bus stop (line 24) is right outside the door. Victoria Station (coach, underground, and train station) is within walking distance. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. The staff is very helpful."

"This bed and breakfast is in a good location. There are shops and restaurants within a 2 minutes walk and Victoria coach and train station are under 10 minutes walk away. I had a single room which was fine for 1 night. It was clean. The room was too hot with no way of turning the radiator off. Breakfast was really poor. I was given toast and not even asked if I wanted brown or white bread. Other breakfast items were c4 different types of cereals and pots of yoghurt. That was it, can't even call it continental!! Staff on reception were friendly. Ok for 1 night but probably wouldn't stay longer as I didn't sleep well as the room was far too hot, even for someone like me that like heat."

"This review serves as more of a suggestion piece than an actual review. Due to a plumbing issue, we were relocated to the sister hotel in Earls Court, approximately 3 miles away from this one located in Victoria, and as such, the only experience we had was the very apologetic young chap on the desk who informed us of an upgrade awaiting us at the next hotel, and also ordered us a taxi (a proper one, not an Uber) which the company would pay for. We were meeting friends in Victoria so this did change our ETAs by about an hour, and probably could have been avoided had someone from the hotel got in touch with me to inform of our new location. But regardless, plumbing issues happen, and the gentleman and the hotel did us good. The sister hotel was a great place, quite sophisticated and modern, a lovely, clean room, and it was a pleasant stay."

"Staff were lovely & hotel location was fantastic. Room was also very clean & tidy. However it was so small & the water pressure on the shower was not great. Floor in room very slanted so when attempting to sleep the person on the right (me) kept almost rolling off bed!! We did laugh about it though. No tea/coffee facilities in room which was a pity but we probably could have gone to breakfast room for these,not sure. It was pretty expensive for what it was £127 for the night,but it was worth it for the location alone. I would stay again just because of location for the theatre but would probably ask for a bigger room."

"I had an excellent stay at Holiday in London Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served every morning. There was a great selection of fresh, tasty food, and it was the perfect way to start each day. A special thank you to Sultana, who was an amazing host. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. Her outstanding hospitality and genuine care made my stay even more enjoyable. The customer service throughout the hotel was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always delivered with a smile. "Hotel well located in the exclusive neighborhood of Pimlico, next to the most touristic areas. But the hotel leaves a lot to be desired in terms of comfort, the rooms are small and with horrible carpeting, so the room is just right for sleeping. I have missed a place to have breakfast or some common areas to sit **** and sit ****."

"The location is excellent, very quiet and safe, but transportation isn't very convenient. It's quite far from the train station, with only a bus stop nearby. There's a pier, Milebank, about a 5-minute walk away, but the RB6 service is infrequent and ends early. There's a Sainsbury's also within a 5-minute walk. The room is a bit small but not cramped, and the design is nice; you could even call it a suite. It has a modern feel. However, the amenities are truly lacking. For a price over 2,000, there are no slippers or toothbrushes. Many of the front desk staff are Indian, and the service feels very stingy. On the positive side, the hygiene is good, it's very clean, and business seems to be doing well. The rooftop gym is unique; although small, it offers great views."

"The staff were especially wonderful and I felt at ease. As others have written, there is no elevator, but the staff carried my heavy luggage up to the third floor, which was very helpful. All the necessary amenities were provided. I was a little worried because hot water was taking a while to come out of the shower, but after waiting for a while, it came out fine and I was relieved. If I have the opportunity to go again, I would like to use it! Thank you very much."
