"The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The hotel's location is fantastic, right above Dundee train station, yet it's surprisingly quiet both day and night. Plus, the V&A Museum is just 50 meters away, diagonally across the street to the right when you step out."

"The location is good, very close to the train station, right by the river. But the sanitary condition was not ideal, the equipment was average, and the unkempt water pipe for bathing was broken, so I changed it overnight. The mobile was filled in the room, and then I went back and asked, saying that I didn’t see it..."

"Centrally located in Dundee, it's very convenient for both the University of Dundee and the V&A Dundee. The facilities are a bit dated, but the room was surprisingly spacious, which I was very pleased with."

"The room was great. The staff were nice and polite, although not always able to help. For an entire evening, nobody answered calls to reception, which was a bit surprising. There were also no hotel slippers, and when we asked, no alternatives were offered. That said, we did enjoy the food. Dinner at the hotel was very nice. At breakfast, items were not always refilled if you arrived later in the morning, but overall it wasn’t bad. I would say it’s a nice hotel, and if I’m ever back in Dundee, I would stay there again. That said, there is definitely room for improvement."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa afternoon and afternoon tea was wonderful. Room was outstanding and so was room service. If any complaint is paying for car park when you are a guest."

I didntvl8ke the grey nets, and although the view was great, the frigate unicorn and tay bridge, right in front was kinda building site..but hey ho Dundee is a city after all. Laura and I were lovely welcomed by your bubbly curly haired receptionist. We ghatt3d to her mist and she is truly am asset to you. We had afternoon tea and cocktails 🍸 lovely. Next day your lovely 😍 receptionist kept our bags and laughed over how we shopped till we dropped. Great feature with key fobs...we use phrase at work constantly....I've got the key, I've got the secret. Would recommend malmasion anytime 😊"

"I have few friends in Dundee. Mostly a day trip to see them. Occasionally staying over in Dundee city centre. But I have never stayed in this place before. The room I was given was very spacious with a panoramic town and River Tay view. Everything was so clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed. I have a morning routine of stretch exercise. Sometimes I cannot do that when I am staying in small hotel room. But Double Tree's room was big enough for me to enjoy morning stretch. Complimentary buffet breakfast was great. There is a pancake maker in the breakfast room. And not one, two pancake makers! Never seen anything like it at buffet breakfast setting. I made one for myself. Never used the maker before so the finishing pancake was not perfect but I enjoyed it. Staff were all friendly and attentive. I had a very good stay. I highly recommend this hotel."

"It was a great place to stay. Parking however is a bit much being £15 a night, however, the carpark nearby wasn't bad at all. The room was great, I just wished I were able to stay longer."

"The Hotel was satisfactory accommodation, the bathroom was clean and tidy, room was very spacious and beds were large and made well. For the price the room was very satisfactory and the only few issues we had is the walls had been repainted a bit shoddy in places and there wasnt a hairdryer, although there was a fan which was a nice suprise."
