Four Points Flex by Sheraton Dundee ★★★
"Very friendly and clean hotel. Superb location for train bus and walking. We will stay at this hotel again. Thank you.i"
Dundee Backpackers Hostel ★★
"The Backpackers Hostel in Dundee has very clean shared rooms with heating and a shower/toilet. There was nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Everything was very clean. Toiletries such as shower gel, toilet paper, etc. were also provided. The bed was also clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit small for my height. I'm 2 meters tall. The rooms can only be opened with a key card and are very secure. A self-catering kitchen is also available, as is a common room with a TV. Breakfast is not offered at the hostel. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The hostel is located right in the center of Dundee. Sights, restaurants, museums, churches, the train station, and public transport (bus) can be reached on foot. Unfortunately, the hostel is not wheelchair accessible. There are stairs to climb. There is no elevator. Towels are available at the reception for a small fee. There is no 24-hour reception. Reception is open from 8 a.m. to midnight. Cash payments only. However, every guest can access the hostel at any time with their key card. No one else is allowed inside. Non-smoking rooms. I would stay there again if I'm in Dundee. Highly recommended hostel. Good and affordable."
Malmaison Dundee ★★★★
"Lovely stay"
Best Western Queens Hotel ★★★
"A pleasant place to stay with friendly staff. The location was great and price reasonable."
Staybridge Suites DUNDEE by IHG ★★★★
"It was a great place to stay. Parking however is a bit much being £15 a night, however, the carpark nearby wasn't bad at all. The room was great, I just wished I were able to stay longer."
Travelodge Dundee Central Hotel ★★★
"This hotel is excellent, we had lunch, then dinner and an excellent breakfast in the morning. One of the waitresses called Ashley was amazing, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, it makes a difference to have a friendly face. It made our day. The only wee thing missing was that the windows don’t even open a wee bit for fresh air as I don’t enjoy central heating, but that was all. I will stay again"
Travelodge Dundee Strathmore Avenue ★★★
"On arrival the hotel looked very rundown. I had booked 2 rooms, one accessible for my mum in law. At reception the girl took my name etc.. then gave us key for ONE room. I said Id booked two ?..turns out that when you name the person in the other room that comes up as a separate booking! After all was sorted we were shown where to go for the accessible room. Well, it looked like we were walking through a cupboard door - no signage. Came to the room - entered - and it was full of other peoples things! Luckily there was no-one actually there!! Went back to reception and the woman came and looked. Very puzzled as computer said the room was free. Anyway, got another room. Well - where to start! Bearing in mind this is meant to accommodate a wheelchair user... on opening the door you are immediately met with the end of the bed. It took 2 of us to get in the door reversing wheelchair...one to push, one to try and hold the door open. Walked straight back past the bed and that led to a small amount of floor space - enough to turn her chair. Looking around this room took basic to the limit! No bedside units so had to use her chair to put her night things on. No shelves for clothes - just a tiny bar with a few hangers, so we put her clothes onto the spare side of the bed. Very small window quite high up. and dont expect to find a socket anywhere useful! The bed was firm but extremely low! It had been placed in front of the emergency call button! On that note we are usually asked about how much support/assistance would be required if there was an emergency - but not here!!. Now the bathroom... it was huge! Walk in shower, rails and room to move. Only fault would be that toilet seat isnt raised. My mum in law had her rollator with her for getting from bed to toilet, but because of the toilet door opening outwards at the very end of her bed, she had to walk backwards opening the door till she had enough room to get around the bed! Then, enter toilet, turn and pull the door closed. All in all a very poorly designed room. Anyone travelling alone that has mobility issues ,they would never manage to negotiate the room. My own room was ok...just once again, probably the most basic Travelodge weve ever been in. Badly in need of an overhaul. Wont be going back."
Premier Inn Dundee East ★★★
"Location excellent. Next to several takeaways. 5 mins from Sainsbury's and Argos. Chemist next door. Receptionist Graham terrible and rude, everyone else lovely. Good breakfast selection and clean enough."
Dundee Centre ★★★
"Really comfortable bed ( as in all Premier Inns). Close to The V&A Dundee. The restaurant is a Beefeater ."

"It wasn't what it was in the original photos. It was dirty , stains on carpets, mould & dirty walls. Left after 10mins handed keys in & went to another hotel."
Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa
"Service was very good. Had to question and clarify a few things to not attract extra charges but the experience was fantastic! Would definitely return."
Shaftesbury Hotel Dundee
"The room is nice, but there is no elevator and there is no one to help carry luggage. It is more difficult for the elderly."
The Fort Hotel
"3 of us came for tea on 12th October, I ordered Fish, Chips, Onion Rings & Mushy peas all of which were served warm, my wife had the Haddock Mornay which she said was fabulous & nice & hot, my Sister-in-Law had the Steak Pie which was warm. Come on guys, what is going on? Your food is usually amazing but last night was a farce - The waitress that served us was amazing. We will be back, but we’re thoroughly disappointed with last nights food"
The Estuary Apartment - 2 minutes form the beach!
Dundee West
"At first glance the place looks tired. Once inside a very friendly welcome, lovely smell in the corridors & a spotless room await. The bathroom was tiled differently to others I’ve visited and was spotless. A comfy bed as you’d expect gave me a great nights sleep. The Beefeater next door was staffed by friendly people & the food was decent. All in all a good night.."
Premier Inn Dundee North
"No water in room for over 2 hours and counting , was told it would be back on in a few minutes, no water for an after work shower and now I've had to go out to use the toilet as cant flush room toilet , just said it'll be on soon . Avoid this hotel"
