Hotels near Temple Metro Station, Paris

I booked through Trip.com with a discounted rate, hotel gave me a downstairs room whose window faced the main street, with people walking and noise, I asked if I could change it to another room due to light sleeper, but they mentioned because of the discounted rate is getting that room, they didn't sound very happy :( the bed wasn't ready with a quilt, pillow has some blood stain. Other than location, breakfast was alright, wasn’t very happy with the arrangement.

**Facilities**: The facilities are basic but adequate, which is understandable given the hotel's age. **Cleanliness**: Acceptable, but there's definite room for improvement. **Location**: Situated in Place de la République, right in central Paris, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. There's a metro station directly outside the hotel entrance. **Service**: The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and attentive.

The hotel needs to install air conditioning or at least fans. The temperatures while we were there were 33, 37, 32, 30 degrees. They had no amenities to cope with the heat except an apology. We were told to leave the windows open over night but with over night lows of 29 degrees starting at 3pm it was too much. We had the top floor apartment with the heat from the roof coning through the ceiling. I could never go back to this hotel.

I stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, supermarkets, and many cafes. It's pleasant to take a stroll in the evening, and it's always lively. However, this street is busy not only in the evenings but especially at night! Young people are noisy and partying until 7 AM. I've never heard this level of noise anywhere in my life! If you're young and nightlife is a part of your life, then this hotel is for you. But for families with children and older adults, it's best to stay far away!

Pros The location is convenient and well suited for sightseeing. The hot water is warm and has good pressure, making it relaxing to use. The room is cleaned every day, so it stays very clean. When there is a problem, calling the staff results in polite and helpful support. Cons The kitchen was broken, so I was unable to cook during my stay. Even when I had issues, the AI responses were repetitive and unhelpful, which was frustrating. The ceiling was thin and creaky, making it difficult to sleep.

Friendly staff and trendy location, sadly main reason of booking here was the colourful room option, but since a long time ago rooms are mostly white painted as shown in pictures. Website not updated…Non refundable room but finally a friendly agreement was issued, everyone happy.

The location is quite convenient, situated between two Line 7 metro stations, and it's relatively quiet with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's also not far from Gare de l'Est and about a ten-minute walk from Gare du Nord. It has the standard Ibis setup. I stayed on the first floor, and the soundproofing wasn't great; plus, there was a strange smell right when I entered. It's a recommendable option for a short stay.

Good room, friendly staff, clean and warm, nice location.

Breakfast was excellent, Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheeses, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, all very good quality apple juice, orange juice, tea, coffee et cetera The room was fine ,nice big bed & comfortable…I didn’t really like the pillows, but my partner did. I found the room very warm. I’m not sure the air-conditioning was working and it only went down to 17°. The bathroom was very small, but had everything you needed and was Clean My partner is 6 foot four and found the shower quite a squeeze( He’s tall, not fat) Reception were very helpful. The Restaurant staff were lovely. The Cleaner is very pleasant. There was a hairdryer ,tea and coffee making facilities You can help yourself from the downstairs bar for extra tea, coffee, milk, et cetera or ask at reception We had clean towels every day as there was nowhere to dry the  towels… The towels were very small. You might want to take a microfibre one with you if you’re used to a larger towel. It is noisy as it is on a junction where the train station is, but the trains do stop at midnight.. They do provide earplugs👍 One night, some people were talking outside at 3 am we were on the third floor.. The other guests were slamming doors at God knows what time and you could hear people using the bathroom..

Excellent Stay, Will Definitely Return! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location is super convenient—just a 3-minute walk from the metro station, which made getting around so easy. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived early, and to my surprise, they quickly arranged a room for me, which was such a nice touch. What really stood out was the room design. It was modern, stylish, and had a unique flair that I absolutely loved. The attention to detail in the design made the stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip, and I’ll be sure to recommend it to my friends!”
