Hotels near Design Museum, Helsinki

"The apartment room is large, clean and tidy, well-equipped, the bathroom sink is very comfortable to use, and there is a washing machine. The apartment is in a courtyard. In addition to the apartment door, the yard and the unit have a password door, which is more convenient to stay."

"This was a great hotel! The check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk service was excellent. Plus, they had a fantastic selection of teas (Rooibos, Chai, green tea, and something else) and coffee (even pots of milk and oat milk!) – I couldn't ask for more. There's a microwave next to the front desk, and the elevator is inside, which makes everything very convenient. The location is also good, close to the central station, so you shouldn't get lost. Personally, I was happy to have a TV, haha. Watching news and documentaries in Finnish is quite interesting. Even though it was a single room, it was quite spacious. I didn't have a suitcase, but you could probably open up at least three of the largest suitcases in there. The shower was clean, a hairdryer was provided, and the abundance of power outlets everywhere is something many people would appreciate."

"Surprisingly spacious and cozy room with European-like views from the 6th floor overlooking Viiskulma. The old hotel building exuded history and the views over the rooftops of Punavuori were well worth seeing."

"Beyond my expectation. Hotel was super clean and amenities is beyond (honey, sweets, ear plugs, slippers, you name it you got it) and up to par with big chain hotels. If there’s insufficient amenities,, you can pick it up from the hotel lobby. Breakfast selection was great and super yummy! Their sausages was and bacon was so good! Location is just a 10 min walk to the central train station. The staff was totally excellent and so very helpful in every way. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in Helsinki!"

"I loved my expierince at home hotel Jugend When I arrived in Helsinki I asked for help to find what team to take I get what I’m told but then got confused as it kept flashing up two names ( which I later learnt that streets have Finish and Swedish names as Swedish is an official launguage? Any I was under the idea that I was miles away as my journey took ages Next day I I was trying to find an art museum Train station I’d got if at was ten mi s walk team goes its own route that takes in a big areas before it gets there so location is actually very good ten mins walk from city centre it’s set in nice are of lots of restaurants and bars The hotel it self is wonderful and quirky My main reason trip was for Co cert which cancelled due to illness of singer if I’m able to make rearranged sat I’d love to go back to this wonderfull hitell Staff are polite friendly and helpful Breakfast and dinner us both very nice and free coffe 24/7 and room is clean and comfortable I’d highly reccomend"

"The room was quite spacious and well-equipped with a minibar and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were nice. The environment was pleasant, and the lighting was bright. Check-in was fast; they even allowed an early check-in, which was great. The location is excellent, very close to the city center, and conveniently located near a bus station."

"1. The price is moderate, about 100.0 to 120.0 EUR per night, and the accommodation quality is good. 2. The room view is decent, and the room itself is very clean. 3. The hotel does not have a restaurant. For breakfast, you need to go to 'Cafe Roasberg' next to the hotel. It's a standard European breakfast, but as an Asian, I can't objectively rate it because I personally prefer Asian cuisine. 4. Both check-in and check-out were very easy. If I had any questions, I could easily find the hotel staff to ask."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making our stay very relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit different tastes. Everything was well presented and regularly replenished. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a great breakfast. We would be happy to return in the future."

"The room was a bit far away. It took a long time to walk with the luggage. The floor was good and the view was great. The location was convenient, a few hundred meters walk to the pedestrian street. It was very convenient to buy something at the supermarket opposite."

"Our assigned rooms had a terrible location. They were on the second floor, which isn't even directly accessible by elevator. You have to go up to the third floor first, walk a long way across a connecting bridge to another building, and then go down to the second floor. We had two rooms, one for my parents and one for us with the kids, and both were given these inconvenient rooms. Hauling luggage around was a real hassle! The view from the window was just a parking lot, no scenery whatsoever, which was completely different from what was shown in the promotional photos. However, the hotel's overall location is good, right in the lively city center, and the breakfast was also decent!"
