The beds are cozy, the rooms are quiet, and the overall atmosphere is calm, which helps guests feel relaxed and at home. The air conditioning works well, which is especially important during warmer days in Barcelona. The staff at Hostal Levante are friendly, polite, and helpful. The bedding was clean, and they did an amazing job cleaning the room every day during my 4-night stay. The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly. They provide 2 complimentary bottles of water, and you can use the water dispenser for free. Coffee is available for 1 Euro. The location is fantastic, close to Plaça de Catalunya, Liceu station, and the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to get anywhere. The location truly is the best. However, I was quite surprised by the room size – it's almost comparable to a Japanese hotel room. Everything else was great, but the downside was that the shower hose had a leak, causing water to drip constantly. Also, the hairdryer was a bit temperamental, sometimes working and sometimes not. Luckily, I brought my Dyson, so it wasn't a huge issue for me, but it would have been inconvenient otherwise.

Oh my goodness! For just 20 euros per night, this hostel is an absolute gem. Even the 12-person room is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The location is fantastic, and my XL suitcase fit perfectly in the storage space. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the kitchen is spotless, with all the necessary dishes ready for use. The only minor issue is that all the amenities, including shampoo and soap, had a distinct, unpleasant cucumber scent.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. Take the Aerobus from the airport to Plaza Catalunya, and it's right next to the subway station, making it easy to get to major tourist attractions. It's also close to Carrefour and the market, so there's no shortage of restaurants. The breakfast was European-style but satisfying, and the 24-hour buffet was a bonus. I like to drink a lot while traveling, so it was great to have beer and wine available with snacks. The room was standard-plus, which is appropriate for the price, but it was clean and the shower had good water pressure. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time. Thank you.

This was a very well located property - right at the Ramblas. Very close to a lot of places to eat, shop, and walkable to most attractions. The subway stop was right in front of the hotel to commute to places (incl to get a bus to the airport from a stop on this subway line). The staff at the reception were very nice, kind, and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing is that the room might be small if there are 2 travelers in this room.

The staff were friendly, and the accommodations were even better than I expected. Montjuic was nearby, so it was a quick walk! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Barcelona.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Even though it is a very simple accommodation with shared bathrooms, the room was bigger than expected, everything was extremely clean and comfortable, with newly renovated bathrooms and comfortable beds, and the staff was really friendly and nice. They even cleaned my room every day which was unexpected! There is no air conditioning in the room, which can be challenging in the hot Barcelona summer nights, but there is a very good, modern and quiet ceiling fan that really helped. The price might seem a bit expensive for what you get, but this is Barcelona... it's difficult to find something decent and well located for a lower price. All in all, it was a great stay!

The price is affordable, all the accommodation in Europe are crazy high. The room I will say cozy, and you got your private storage, and the mattress and pillow are super comfortable. The curtain rail on your bed is for your privacy, inside your bed also got light and two power socket. But the main door closed and hard to bell and call them, please prepare the phone number incase you stuck at outside like me. Negative experience is the toilet, too tiny, and the water supply is a problem, you need too keep pressing the 10 sec button when you shower. And if your room got 4 pax, so you need to waiting tour turn in the morning.

1. Great location, 20-minute walk to Batlló, where I go every night to see the night view. 8-minute walk to the Also bus station. Because of its good location, I can walk everywhere. I bought a 10-trip transportation card and only used it twice. 2. Cleanliness is good; there's someone to clean, and the kitchen is always tidied. 3. 24-hour front desk. Every staff member is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I asked them many questions, and they explained everything in detail, even helping me find locations on the map. 4. I stayed 5 nights, then returned for another night. Luggage storage is free. If you don't return, there's a charge, I think it's €5, but I'm not sure. 5. Dinner is included every night and is free. Those who enjoy socializing can chat with people from all over the world and learn how to cook Western food. 6. Spanish food, you'll be asked to cook your own meals. There are usually 20+ people eating each night, great atmosphere, and complimentary alcohol is provided daily. Eating out for dinner would cost at least €10. 7. Guests are very well-behaved; no one makes noise or turns on the lights. 8. Booked through Ctrip, which gave various coupons, making it quite cost-effective. Look for coupons! 9. There are supermarkets and lots of Chinese restaurants nearby. 10. I read reviews saying I'd get bitten all over, but I brought insect spray and sprayed the bed every night, and I didn't get bitten at all. 11. Spacious shower with three stalls. Strong hot and water pressure, never have to wait in line. 12. The downside is no bed curtains, but for this price including dinner, what more could you ask for? 13. I would definitely stay here again if I went to Barcelona.

Great hotel to be close to Cataluna Center as I wanted to take the blue bus back to the airport .  Clean well partition room and bathroom spaces with added perk of balcony seating. Hotel was so nice to keep my luggage.  Great perk to provide complimentary cava sparkling wine and coffee Nespresso machine capsules.
