Hotels near Ciutat Vella, Barcelona

This was a very well located property - right at the Ramblas. Very close to a lot of places to eat, shop, and walkable to most attractions. The subway stop was right in front of the hotel to commute to places (incl to get a bus to the airport from a stop on this subway line). The staff at the reception were very nice, kind, and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing is that the room might be small if there are 2 travelers in this room.

The location is very good and it is quite convenient to go anywhere. The room was really small, but it was very clean and tidy, and the decoration was very good. Since it was an early morning flight, the reception staff was very enthusiastic to help call uber.

The elevator machinery noise in the room is unbearably loud. I barely can sleep all day I think it depends on whether your room is close to the elevator. If you’re unlucky and end up with a room right next to it, your Barcelona trip could be ruined. Good luck!

The bedding was clean, and they did an amazing job cleaning the room every day during my 4-night stay. The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly. They provide 2 complimentary bottles of water, and you can use the water dispenser for free. Coffee is available for 1 Euro. The location is fantastic, close to Plaça de Catalunya, Liceu station, and the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to get anywhere. The location truly is the best. However, I was quite surprised by the room size – it's almost comparable to a Japanese hotel room. Everything else was great, but the downside was that the shower hose had a leak, causing water to drip constantly. Also, the hairdryer was a bit temperamental, sometimes working and sometimes not. Luckily, I brought my Dyson, so it wasn't a huge issue for me, but it would have been inconvenient otherwise.

A good hotel for a few days. Clean, clean room daily, magnificent location in the Gothic neighborhood, near subway, restaurants, cafes, bars. Safe room. Not very lucky that the window went out into the inner courtyard, essentially on the wall of another building. You can say the room was without a window. I wish there was no electric teapot and mini-fridge in the room 3*. No roof next to the bed. Otherwise everything is fine. Breakfast is standard.

The staff were friendly, and the accommodations were even better than I expected. Montjuic was nearby, so it was a quick walk! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Barcelona.

High standards & I received an excellent welcome. Housekeeping is outstanding. I was given an early check in without asking & that was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is VERY good & I highly recommend it. Location is in the Gothic Quarter & it is ideal for a first time visit to Barcelona. There is a cafe & barista on the ground level & pastries & fresh orange juice in the morning. My room was small but had all I needed for my stay & the mini fridge was nice to have The bed was really comfy & there were black out curtains so you can sleep in after a long plane trip. There are two lifts & if you have heavy luggage this is very convenient. Great stay!

I booked a twin room with a view outside. The room is large enough to spread the carry bag. It was a little Korean style fashionable room. There is also an air conditioner from FUJITSU in Japan, which works well. I feel that it was also in heating and cooling. I used heating. If it was cold, a blanket was also prepared. You can go from the nearest subway to Sagrada Familia without changing trains! From the airport, you can take the airport bus to the nearest and transfer to the subway. Close to the subway at the exit with stairs, but if you walk about 5 minutes, there is a subway exit with an elevator. The street in front of me was under construction on the ground as of March 2026, and the road was quite narrow. There is a bar right next to it that is doing late at night and it is very exciting, but it sounds like a Ｇ floor, but when you go upstairs, you can't hear it. I slept well at night. Both young children and old people stayed. There is an elevator. You can keep your luggage. The range is not in the lobby, but the staff will lend you. There's hot water and water! Располагается в хорошем месте, только надо смотреть относительно каких мест хотите снимать , расстояния не маленькие по карте от основных достопримечательностей. Номер маленький, слышен небольшой шум с улицы. Завтрак в соседнем отеле, понравился.
