"Hotel Catalonia Sagrada Familia, Barcelona This hotel is well-situated for visiting the best places of interest in Barcelona - it is only a fifteen minute walk to the famous Sagrada Familia church. It is also very close to a metro station that will take you anywhere in the city, including the old city, the rail station and the airport. The reception staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff very efficient and all the amenities in the room all work well. The room is not large but perfectly adequate for a stay of a few days, the bed is comfortable with soft pillows and there is an outdoor terrace with table and chairs for a cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing! There is also a bar and restaurant, gym and pool in the hotel so, in summary, this is a much better 3-star hotel compared against most others in Spain."

"A bit far from the city center, but within walking distance to the beach. There's a convenience store nearby. The environment and facilities are fine, though breakfast options are limited."

"Well not satisfied with the stay. The cleaner didnt come two days to clean room. Complained to the manager and they compensated witb 60 Euro dinner voucher and some hotel redeem points. Maybe I have stayed more in hotels in Asia where there is different and higher standards of service so I am bit disappointed. Any ways manager was gracious to accept the mistake and on their part this is extreme peak season so maybe the housekeeping staff was on their toes. But another piece to grind is their aggressive marketing as a hotel for families with kids particularly on trip.com but i felt this was not accurate. I had two kids 4 year and 1 year old and the room was bit small for me. The AC worked well though. The view from window was nice (could see Sagrada Familia) . In anycase mixed reactions."

"The hotel is located in Glory Tower, and I've stayed here multiple times, still love it! The hotel facilities and environment are impeccable, and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The location is excellent, with a Line 1 subway station right next door, as well as the Modern Museum and Modern Art Museum nearby. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the rooftop pool faces Glory Tower."

"The hotel is great, right in the city center with plenty of food options nearby, including many Chinese restaurants, and convenient transportation. Let me point out a few areas for improvement: 1. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary water. 2. This is crucial for those driving: finding the parking entrance is really difficult. After you pass the red, yellow, and green lights, you immediately need to pull over to the right. The problem is, that's a bus lane! Plus, the entrance is right by a bus stop, and you have to make an immediate right turn into it. Lastly, the road into the parking lot is incredibly challenging to navigate without serious driving skills – it's harder than a driving test! It's super narrow and involves turns; you could easily scratch your car. 😂"

"The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money. My only minor complaint is that the room felt a bit stuffy."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location. From the metro, just look for the 'little pink sausage' in Picture 1, and you'll find it right in the building next to Torre Glòries. It's incredibly convenient, being no more than three metro stops away from popular attractions like Plaça de Catalunya and the various 'casas' along Diagonal Avenue. Getting here from the airport is also easy: take the L9 to Torrasa, then transfer to the L1 and get off at Glòries station. Personally, I highly recommend the route from the hotel to Poblenou Cemetery, and then from the cemetery to Bogatell Beach. It's less crowded, and the scenery is beautiful. If you don't feel like walking back, you can catch the V23 bus. Barcelona's 'third spaces' are everywhere – not just on Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia. You can enjoy urban strolls in many neighborhoods; when you get tired, just sit on a street bench for some 'photosynthesis,' or head back to the hotel for a relaxing cup of tea. Overall, if you're traveling as a couple and not focused on 'military-style' sightseeing and photo ops, this place offers great value for money."

"Had a private room, packed schedule, only used it for show and sleep. This was the first place I came across where shower is timed (stops maybe every min?) and temp controlled (the water doesn’t get to the heat level that warms you up afterwards). Bathroom light is motion controlled and turns off after you are in the shower in a bit. Not complaining just sharing."

"The hotel itself is great, clean, and has everything you need in the room. The area is residential, which comes with a few drawbacks: there aren't many shops or cafes around. The beach is a bit far, about a 15-20 minute walk if you take your time (it's hard to rush in the heat). On the plus side, the walk to the beach is entirely shaded. It's a safe neighborhood, being a residential area with upscale housing. The metro is close by, making it convenient to visit attractions – you just need to familiarize yourself with the system. Taxis are also plentiful and can be easily hailed from the street. Overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself, though the location isn't ideal. However, closer to the beach, hotels are naturally more expensive."

"Fabulous hotel with friendly helpful cheerful staff. Lovely pool and hot tub on the roof with fantastic views across Barcelona.  The only minor issue are the lifts, they are very slow and you can only call them, not choose up or down. This can cause long waits and congestion especially when several people are checking in.  All in all highly recommended, breakfast choices are comprehensive and fresh, rooms are smart and modern, as is the rest of the hotel."
