"The location is excellent. The lobby looks a bit like a fast or hotel, probably because the city center is very expensive. The room is small and a bit crowded if there are a lot of luggage or a lot of people. The elevator is the old-fashioned one that you have to push the door.
There is a kettle, bottled water, hand soap, shampoo and shower gel two-in-one, a wardrobe, and a dressing mirror behind the door."
"The environment is clean, and the front desk staff are super friendly, making me feel right at home. There's a great selection of TV programs; watching SpongeBob or Fury in my free time was incredibly relaxing and comfortable."
"Everything was great. The location was perfect for us because of its proximity to the consulate. I just missed having slippers for going into the sauna. But the spa area was also very nice and clean. We were completely satisfied for our one-night stay and even had two adjoining rooms with a connecting door."
"I had a great stay! The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. While there was some minor wear and tear on the bedframe and flooring (as shown in my photos), it didn't take away from the experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn't have been better. I would definitely stay here again!"
"Super convenient and amazing!
My stay at LyvInn Frankfurt Messe from July 4th to July 11th was truly super convenient and amazing! First off, the location is impeccable. It's incredibly convenient for anyone visiting the Frankfurt Exhibition Center, and the surrounding transportation links are excellent, saving a lot of travel time.
The natural light in the room was fantastic. During the day, it was bright and comfortable, instantly putting me in a good mood. What really surprised me was the view from the window. Both the daytime city streets and the bustling, charming night view after dark were stunning. Relaxing in the room at night, enjoying a drink while looking out at the scenery, was truly pleasant and atmospheric. The room's cleanliness, facilities, and the staff's attitude were all top-notch, making for a very reassuring stay. I'm extremely satisfied with this experience and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip or business travel to Frankfurt. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance!"
"The hotel's location is super convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk to a large mall, so shopping and dining are a breeze. They can also help you book a taxi. The hotel has an industrial-chic design, which is perfect for younger guests!"
"It was the perfect hotel for the first night of arrival. While you are still jet-lagging, the safe environment put you at ease instantly. I’m glad I didn’t pick a hotel near the main Frankfurt station. The location is perfect - clean and safe neighbourhood within minutes of walking to U Bahn n S Bahn."
"The room is great, next to the university, with a youthful and petty-bourgeois vibe. It's usually relatively cheap. The service staff is very enthusiastic and proactively asks if there's anything they can help with. They are also very considerate and patient in explaining issues such as invoicing."
"While others mention the hotel location as a weak point due to the surrounding area (homeless people etc), we feel that the proximity to the Frankfurt train station and historical sites means that it is very accessible.
On the other hand, the aircon does not seem to work even though it was set at lowest temperature possible. With the extra bed set further away from the AC in the room, the person sleeping there gets warmer faster.
While the hotel is listed as a four star hotel, it does not have any amenities that justifies the rating"
"The location is excellent, within a 20-minute walk of almost all shopping centers and tourist attractions in Frankfurt's city center.
The rooms were clean, the breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent.
Most importantly, there was free parking! Free parking in the heart of Frankfurt, where land is incredibly valuable, is truly six-star service!
I would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Thun again next time."

Amazing
EEutamaThe Westin Grand Frankfurt offers an excellent central location with unbeatable access to public transport and nearby markets, but the in-room climate control and wellness facilities were disappointing during this stay. Overall, it works well as a convenient city base, especially if you value being close to U- and S-Bahn connections and local weekend markets.Room and comfortThe room itself was comfortable but unfortunately too warm, and it was not obvious how to adjust the temperature settings. There was no clear guidance in-room on changing the climate controls, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.Facilities and closuresAlthough the hotel advertises an indoor pool and sauna as part of its wellness offering, both the pool and sauna were closed during this stay, which was a let-down. This is worth checking in advance if these facilities are important for your trip.Location and transportThe location is one of the hotel’s strongest points, set on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße right by the Zeil shopping area and within easy reach of major sights. U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are very close, making it simple to reach Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, the airport and other parts of the city in just a few minutes.Markets and nearby vibeThe surrounding area has a lively city feel, and there is a weekend market within walking distance, adding a nice local touch to the stay. Being able to step out of the hotel and quickly reach both shops and market stalls is a real advantage if you enjoy browsing food and local products.Overall impressionThis hotel is a solid choice for location and public transport access, especially if you plan to explore Frankfurt’s centre and markets on foot. However, unclear room temperature controls and the closure of the pool and sauna during the stay meant the experience did not fully meet expectations.
AAnonymous UserIt's on par with a typical budget hotel in China, nothing special but decent. It's not too far from the train station, about a 15-minute walk. There's a mall and a large supermarket nearby, which is quite convenient, though the immediate area isn't very lively.
DDduolinThe front desk was welcoming and everything else was good. The only drawback was that the breakfast options were a little limited, and there was no German sausage.
YYuchuangchuangI stayed in a smart room for my business trip, and the cleanliness was very satisfying. The bedding was clean and tidy, exceeding my expectations. The smart devices in the room were easy and intuitive to operate, creating a good environment for business work. The surroundings were relatively quiet, perfect for resting after traveling. The service attitude was excellent, and the front desk was responsive. The facilities were generally complete and met my business needs. The location near the airport was excellent, making transportation extremely convenient. Overall, it offered good value for money, and I recommend it for business travelers.
Ppdp11This is a functional hotel where the things that need to work do work. The hotel is part of a chain and they have a template they use around the world. It's nothing fancy but good enough for a comfortable stay.
It's clean, bed is comfortable, internet speed is fine, a desk, ethernet cable for wired internet, hot water, good water pressure, fridge, and a Japanese style toilet!
If two people are staying, you can't use wash basin and shower at the same time. A lever controls where the water goes.
The breakfast is generally good. There's oat milk and a good plain muesli without sugar. They spoilt this by adding chocolate chips after a few days. There's a good variety of German bread but the darker, healthier variety went too quickly.
All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the kitchen staff.
There's a nice area to sit outside during breakfast.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was very nice because it’s close to the city center. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the breakfast was very good.
Unfortunately, my room was close to the main street, which caused some disturbance due to car noise during the night and early morning.
GGuest UserThe Frankfurt Airport hotel boasts an unbeatable location. The facilities are clean, and the service is excellent. Breakfast offers a wide variety of nutritious options, and the soundproofing is great. Plus, there's a free shuttle. It's a comfortable stay for a layover and offers great value for money.
VVictorjiayeThe surroundings are really convenient. There are small shops nearby, as well as high-rise buildings, offering a wide variety of choices for both food and shopping. I stayed for two nights and had a great experience, and the breakfast was also plentiful.
SSwaterfieldA little off the beaten path but still in a relatively nice location. About a 15 min walk to central downtown or a 2-3min metro ride. Nice grocery stores and restaurants in the general area. The room itself was small but comfy. The bathroom had a small shower with amazing water pressure and super hot water. Was quiet at night and had a comfy bed. Overall, nice for the price.
