Family room 102 was excellent! It was really spacious, with a great bathroom and a balcony. They even provided a coffee machine with coffee and tea, which was perfect for making baby formula too. This was the best room we've had so far.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Frau Sochia an der Rezeption – ihre herzliche Art hat dazu beigetragen, dass ich mich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt habe. Vielen herzlichen Dank auch für das bereitgestellte Wasser, eine sehr aufmerksame Geste. Das Frühstücksbuffet war frisch, sehr schön angerichtet und ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen. Ein großes Lob an Frau Boris, die mit viel Engagement für Ordnung, Sauberkeit und stetiges Nachfüllen des Buffets sorgte. Die Tische wurden sofort gereinigt, alles war äußerst hygienisch und der Service war wirklich erstklassig. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer waren makellos sauber. Besonders positiv empfand ich das wunderschön eingerichtete Zimmer ohne Teppichboden, was für ein sehr angenehmes Raumgefühl sorgte. Das Bett und die Kissen waren äußerst komfortabel und luden zum perfekten Ausruhen ein. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an das Reinigungsteam für die hervorragende Arbeit. Fazit: Ein Hotel mit exzellentem Service, außergewöhnlicher Sauberkeit und sehr engagierten Mitarbeitern. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder.

Leider war der Fitness Bereich geschlossen. Der Sauna Bereich ist sehr schön. Im Nebengebäude kein Aufzug, für mich aber kein Problem gewesen.

Have to say the room is okay especially the toilet and shower ,but only one curtain in between is not too pleasant for shower water . Blanket i like -warm and light ,not too big for complicated handling. Surprised me no table no sofa no chair in the room ,and have been told that in case i need i should ask the receiption to change the room -it is the first time to hear .Anyway i went thru … Location is good ,very handy to go to the hbf Dusseldorf ,while there is a lake in front -quite some swans and wild geese /ducks on the water ,very nice to watch them. Only 400m to walk to reach the metro station ,then going to many destinations; From Airport to the hotel ,quite short distance ,by train also possible it you do not have too much luggage. By walking distance also can reac the Japanese Street ,as well the king street … Giving a thumbs up ref to the breakfast - kinds of rolls /bread,cheese ,salad,sausage ,museli,tea,coffee ,yogurt ,whatever you would like to have ,really more than plenty ,and also always seats available ,as the capacity is really big enough ,never will forget this breakfast ! Off course room rate reached the roof but can understand everyone will take this advantage to charge ,as hotel is also some kind of business! Will definitely stay here again for the future ! The check-in is actually only quite stuck at 15:00, although we were there only less than an hour earlier. At least the offer of having to stop our luggage could have been submitted. The Lord at the reception spoke very quickly and for me as a hearing machine to be very quiet. Must ask everything, really everything, what was really unpleasant and nervous. Here there is great training needs! At breakfast I was treated very unfriendly because I did not understand the reason I was called the same as when I was asked about the room number. I find that the worst of all the shortcomings! Because I felt like this differently, and that is not possible! The whole equipment was colourful and modern, but all of them are only outdoor things that are second-ranging in my eyes. Although the room was very clean, it is quite bright - my wife has sleeped very unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, there were only big head kits. So I could get up again with neck and headache in the morning. I've been in many hotels, but I can say that I've been most angry and unhappy to go out here. The parking was relatively expensive and I was allowed to experience two exits (with my day ticket) as each other vehicles were closely followed me and therefore had parked without (paid) ticket. I also felt that very uncomfortable and unfair. As an honest payer, I unintentionally supported two other parkers at the parking fee prelles. And that just because the hotel did not fix the defected entrance barrier in time. This whole result led me to the decision to no longer book a Moxy hotel. On the contrary, I think to confront the management in writing with these points, because this is discrimination. Conclusion: never again!

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf and overall had a mixed experience. Location The hotel is situated in a somewhat secluded area with a mix of residential buildings and ongoing development. It can feel a bit uneasy at night, although I never felt genuinely unsafe. The city centre is about a 30-minute walk, or you can take the underground, which is more convenient. Parking Parking is available onsite and is secure and spacious, which is a plus. However, at €30 per night, it feels quite expensive. There are some spaces outside the hotel, but signage is unclear and I wasn’t confident about leaving a car there overnight. Customer Service This was one of the weaker points. The staff weren’t particularly welcoming, and flexibility was limited — check-in is strictly at 3pm with no room for early access. While this may reflect a more typical German service style, it did come across as lacking warmth and customer focus. Room & Facilities The rooms are clean, modern, and functional — exactly what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express. However, a major frustration was the TV being locked in hotel mode, meaning HDMI inputs were disabled. I wanted to connect my own device but couldn’t. Staff were not helpful in resolving this, despite it being a relatively simple fix with the correct code. There’s also not much happening in the hotel beyond a small bar, so limited in-house entertainment options made the TV issue more noticeable. Breakfast (Highlight) Breakfast was definitely the standout feature. A great selection of fresh fruits, hot food, and bakery items — everything was well-presented and genuinely tasty. Overall Verdict The hotel offers good value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. However, it’s let down by: • The slightly isolated location • Lack of customer-focused service • Expensive parking • Frustrating in-room limitations (TV restrictions) The TV issue alone would make me hesitate to return. That said, if you’re looking for a clean, affordable stay and don’t mind the trade-offs, it’s still a reasonable option.

The hotel was very easy to get to and we were greeted very warmly. The room is well equipped, there is even an ironing board. The minibar was stocked with everything, and there was also a coffee machine 😊 We were really impressed with the breakfast, everything you could wish for was there and more. I would choose this hotel again and again. Thank you very much.

It's clean and very convenient to live alone. No one will disturb you. It's quiet. There's a Chinese restaurant and a gas station and a supermarket downstairs. You can buy basically everything you need. But checking in is very inconvenient!!! Enter the message on the drone and finally use the password to enter the room. It takes some patience

Das Hotel sah auf den ersten Blick sehr suspekt aus, als ob man in eine leere Lagerhalle gebucht hat, jedoch ist der Eingang nur leicht versteckt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, draußen kann man ein paar Pferde beobachten. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, allerdings gab es nur 1 paar wenige laute Mitgäste, die meinten sich nach Mitternacht noch auf dem Gang verabschieden zu müssen. Das Zimmer war super groß, sauber und hat einen interessanten Art Deco Stil. Sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war auch reichlich und gut, zusätzlich gibt es noch einen Konferenzraum und ein paar Sitzmöglichkeiten um außerhalb des Zimmers zu arbeiten. Ich würde hier wieder buchen. Das Hotel ist so sehr sicher, Gäste können nur mit Code ins Hotel und in die Zimmer, der Code wird per Email ein paar Stunden vor den Einchecken geschickt.
