The three letters t, a, and b stand for Tokyo, Art & Beer – and thus for the cultural diversity that makes Düsseldorf so exciting and unique. Inspired by the trendy "Little Tokyo," home to Germany's largest Japanese community, the vibrant art scene, and the traditional Altbier (alt beer), the design reflects Asian accents, rustic furniture, and modern wall art.
Relax in our stylish Living Lobby, meet friends, or use the co-working space, with free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The 24-hour reception is always available for helpful tips, support, or light snacks. In the morning, we welcome you with a rich breakfast buffet.
Thanks to our central location near the main train station, you can easily explore Düsseldorf on foot or by public transport. Our 438 comfortable double rooms offer modern amenities such as twin beds, 43" Smart TVs, and Bluetooth sound systems. Some rooms and the large terrace offer a wonderful view of the Bürgerpark. Welcome to the heart of the city!

Have to say the room is okay especially the toilet and shower ,but only one curtain in between is not too pleasant for shower water .
Blanket i like -warm and light ,not too big for complicated handling.
Surprised me no table no sofa no chair in the room ,and have been told that in case i need i should ask the receiption to change the room -it is the first time to hear .Anyway i went thru …
Location is good ,very handy to go to the hbf Dusseldorf ,while there is a lake in front -quite some swans and wild geese /ducks on the water ,very nice to watch them.
Only 400m to walk to reach the metro station ,then going to many destinations;
From Airport to the hotel ,quite short distance ,by train also possible it you do not have too much luggage.
By walking distance also can reac the Japanese Street ,as well the king street …
Giving a thumbs up ref to the breakfast - kinds of rolls /bread,cheese ,salad, sausage ,museli, tea, coffee ,yogurt ,whatever you would like to have ,really more than plenty ,and also always seats available ,as the capacity is really big enough ,never will forget this breakfast !
Off course room rate reached the roof but can understand everyone will take this advantage to charge ,as hotel is also some kind of business!
Will definitely stay here again for the future !
Recommend you to choose this Holiday Inn -the niu tab Dusseldorf !
Thanks !

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf and overall had a mixed experience.
Location
The hotel is situated in a somewhat secluded area with a mix of residential buildings and ongoing development. It can feel a bit uneasy at night, although I never felt genuinely unsafe. The city centre is about a 30-minute walk, or you can take the underground, which is more convenient.
Parking
Parking is available onsite and is secure and spacious, which is a plus. However, at €30 per night, it feels quite expensive. There are some spaces outside the hotel, but signage is unclear and I wasn’t confident about leaving a car there overnight.
Customer Service
This was one of the weaker points. The staff weren’t particularly welcoming, and flexibility was limited — check-in is strictly at 3pm with no room for early access. While this may reflect a more typical German service style, it did come across as lacking warmth and customer focus.
Room & Facilities
The rooms are clean, modern, and functional — exactly what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express. However, a major frustration was the TV being locked in hotel mode, meaning HDMI inputs were disabled. I wanted to connect my own device but couldn’t. Staff were not helpful in resolving this, despite it being a relatively simple fix with the correct code.
There’s also not much happening in the hotel beyond a small bar, so limited in-house entertainment options made the TV issue more noticeable.
Breakfast (Highlight)
Breakfast was definitely the standout feature. A great selection of fresh fruits, hot food, and bakery items — everything was well-presented and genuinely tasty.
Overall Verdict
The hotel offers good value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. However, it’s let down by:
• The slightly isolated location
• Lack of customer-focused service
• Expensive parking
• Frustrating in-room limitations (TV restrictions)
The TV issue alone would make me hesitate to return. That said, if you’re looking for a clean, affordable stay and don’t mind the trade-offs, it’s still a reasonable option.
From our Premier Inn Dusseldorf City Ost hotel, exploring this artistic city in west Germany couldn't be easier. Start your trip with a walk along the promenade of the Rhine, before exploring the scenic Altstadt - it's only a 25-minute walk away from the hotel. Shopping fans won't miss a visit to the famous Konigsallee - one of Europe's leading streets for luxury stores - as well as the surrounding fashion district. Alternatively, why not enjoy a day out around the nearby Hofgarten, or soak up the panoramic city views from the Rhine Tower? In the evening, you can look forward to a great night's sleep in a super-comfy Hypnos bed.

Environment: You can transfer three stops at King's Avenue Station, and then walk about 10 minutes to the hotel. It is surrounded by parks and main roads, and DM is far away.
Hygiene: When you check in, you will be asked whether you want to clean tomorrow or every few days.
Service: The service staff are all good, but it is booked by Ctrip, so there is no IHG membership treatment, and the breakfast variety is quite rich.
Facilities: There was a problem with the room 145 on the first floor at the beginning. The wall would make noises in the middle of the night... I changed rooms later.
Also within walking distance from the hotel is the historic old town area of Düsseldorf also known as the longest bar in the world because of its 300 pubs and breweries and the Rhine bank promenade, where you have a perfect panorama view over the Rhine. With 52 rooms and Junior Suits, a bar, a breakfast room and a conference area the hotel offers everything for a pleasant stay in the state capital of North Rhine Westphalia. Of course the use of our Finnish sauna and the fitness area are free of charge. The rooms are comfortably and cosy furnished with SAT TV, telephone, desk, shower or bathtub, mini bar, make up mirror and a coffee tea service. The varied breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of delicacies and ensures an ideal start to the day. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere in our bar in the evening. Our meeting room can accommodate up to 30 people and is equipped with modern technology. Parking spaces with parking fee are available in the underground car park. Pets are welcome in our hotel

The hotel is perfect. It is possible to reach the airport with a single bus. You can reach the city's main places in a maximum of 20 minutes.
The room given to us was beautiful. The workers were riddled and helpful. The only shortage was that there was no sweat. This simple thing is very comfortable when you spend in the room and in the bathroom. It is also a bit ironical that we don't have to get a sauna with a sweatshirt.
Thank you very much to the worker.
me and all hotel Duesseldorf is an urban melting pot on the scene. Taking in the area we occupy, it is a declaration of love for our city and people. Here you find everything under one roof. The heart of the hotels is the open fusion of check-in: bar: lounge and co-working. The local heroes: local partners from gastronomy: music and start-ups: provide ever new individual experiences with pop-up kitchens: a wide variety of events and sustainable products.

The rooftop view is great! 👍👍👍👍👍 The breakfast is excellent! 👍👍 The only downside is that it's a bit noisy because it's close to the road, but it's acceptable. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great
GGuest UserNice location in Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf. Friendly staff. Clean and modern hotel. Breakfast was good and you have many choice. Nice bar and the have family board games.
GGuest UserThe hotel features a sleek, modern design with an excellent location near the station. While the rooms are compact, they are very clean and functional, making it a perfect choice for a short city break.
WWaixiI recently stayed at the Medici Lifestyle Hotel and had a lot to say about the experience. The hotel has a very unique style, as if you were in a museum, and the overall atmosphere and decoration were impressive.
Pros:
Specialty style: The hotel's decoration style is very unique and full of artistic atmosphere. Whether it is the lobby, corridors or public areas, there are many artworks and antiques, as if you are in a private museum, which is very worth watching.
Location: The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many attractions and restaurants, and it is very convenient to travel. This saves us a lot of time and energy when visiting the city.
Service: The hotel's service is very thoughtful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very smooth. The room service is also timely and meets our various needs.
Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The gym and other public facilities are also well maintained and very convenient to use.
Cons:
Decoration in the room: Although the overall style is unique, the decoration in the room can sometimes make people feel a little scary. The design of some artworks and antiques is exaggerated, which may not suit every guest's taste, especially when alone at night, it may feel uncomfortable.
Overall, the Medici Life Hotel is a very special accommodation choice. Its unique museum style and artistic environment are very suitable for travelers who like art and culture. Although the decoration in the room may be a bit scary, it does not affect the overall accommodation experience. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can provide a unique place to stay.
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. The location was also very convenient, close to shops and attractions. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
GGuest UserWe were greeted for our 3 night stay, by the friendliest and most helpful reception staff we have come across. Denisse and (not sure on the spelling)Lili, went out of their way to help us with any questions we had about the area and with a smile.
Our room was spacious, clean and welcoming.
The bed was comfortable and having the choice of a firm or soft pillows, was a nice touch.
DDominic_chinaGood location if you use Düsseldorf Hbf is your priority, as it is just a 3-5 minute walk from the trains and trams, making it perfect for early departures or late arrivals.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean but not very spacious, however I had a small balcony which was a nice addition. The furniture leans towards ”dated” but still very acceptable for me.
Rooms on the street side can be quite noisy despite having good windows. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the courtyard or bring some earplugs.
Breakfast was fine and kept stocked while it was very busym
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were very kind.
The towels were fluffy, pure white, and high-quality.
The sheets were clean, and the room was thoroughly cleaned.
There was an in-room oil heater, so I could easily adjust the temperature.
From the window of my 6th-floor room, I could see the birds chirping in formation in the apartment across the street.
The shower had plenty of water pressure, although adjusting the temperature was a little difficult.
The room itself is old, but the walls had been nicely repainted.
One thing to note, however, is that the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor, so if you're assigned a single room on the 6th floor, you'll have to carry your heavy suitcase up the stairs by yourself. If you're not confident in your physical strength and mobility, it's best to choose a room on the 5th floor or lower.
ZZHENGRONGThe breakfast at the hotel is very good, I like it very much, the variety is good, the taste is good. My room was found to have obvious stains on the bed at the night of check-in. Due to the late time, I can only deal with it sloppyly. Serve the little brother, and he said that he immediately handled all the room hygiene, which is very satisfactory.
Www521The hotel is relatively new and convenient for transportation. It is about 10 minutes' drive from the Düsseldorf Exhibition Hall. The breakfast is quite rich, but the cost is a bit high during the exhibition.
