Hotels near Zoo Ave, Alajuela

We didn't make it. No one told us that we need a yellow Fever vaccine . all our tickets and hotel was non refundable . Unfortunately. Wast of so much money.. I wish there was a notification about it. I never thought that Costa Rica is like Kenya Afrika.. the most annoying is that I do have this vaccine.. but the card was left home.. It was a spontaneous decision we made in Brazil..

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Early checkin (30min) was possible and they stowed our luggage before. The Junior Suite was directly to the street, you hear noise all the night (also with closed windows). No flyscreen against Moskito. Fire place has no glass window. Hiking trails on the area. Nice big shower, small kitchen just with coffee maker and fridge. Some plates and cutlery would be nice, but we got it in the restaurant. Second bed very soft, pillows hard and soft to choose - good. You can choose breakfast from the menu. We can recommend it.

The private room we stayed in was very comfortable and the small yard/garden is beautiful, and the owner is exceptional helpful. It is near the SJO airport, they provided transportation services for our arrival and leaving, in addition there are many attraction suggestions available by the owner, we bought one of the attractions, it was great. We're very happy to stay in this house, and will definitely come back again when visiting Costa Rica in the future.. almost forgot to mention that that breakfast is included and $6 for lunch which is a great price for one in the city, we had fish for lunch which was delicious.

Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela The hotel is very conveniently located very close to San Jose Airport, with free airport shuttle bus and very friendly to passengers on connecting or morning and evening flights. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was good. The breakfast is rich in variety, fresh fruit, hot food and coffee options, the overall experience exceeds expectations, it is recommended.

My flight got delayed, but they waited to let me in, and quickly showed me to my room, which was spacious and a lovely view of the gardens and Pool, the bed was comfortable in the shower was perfect. The lady on reception was lovely and prepared my breakfast and adjusted to my likes I would fully recommend this hotel if you want somewhere close to the airport , but in beautiful gardens , it’s approximately eight minutes away, there is also a big shopping mall about the same distance away if you forget anything

This house is so strategically located, less than 10mins to the airport...Hernandez is so helpful, assisted me with the laundry and offered pick up n drop off service to the airport for just 5 USD. Breakfast is self service with fresh fruit and milk etc. Definitely gonna stay here again when I come back to Costa Rica next time!

The hotel was built around 1903 and it is lovely! As would be expected the rooms are small but they have everything we needed for a one night stay before our flight. The beds were comfortable. The courtyard provides a great environment for a glass of wine or some reading. The gentleman kindly chilled the wine we had purchased at a local store. We also took his recommendations about places to eat and had an enjoyable evening out.

Perfect hotel for if landing late or departing early, very comfy bed and clean room. There are no windows but it's perfectly ventilated There is a basic breakfast, enough to recharge. I recommend it
