Overall, the hotel is generally good, especially for the spa and hot spring service. However, the hotel is quite dated and some of its facilities are quite old. The pillows in the room is very flat and hard to sleep on. For the location, the hotel is located quite far away from Zhiben Station so travelling to the resort can be quite a hassle. But the hotel does provide free shuttle service but you have to pre book beforehand.

The service at this hotel was outstanding; I absolutely loved it. The breakfast spread offered a huge variety, making it very accommodating for different dietary preferences. They also had family-friendly activities, like the hands-on experience of pounding traditional rice cakes (nian gao).

I think the biggest draw and benefit of visiting Dongyuji is soaking in the hot springs to unwind after a long day. Dongyuji's spa area is truly enormous (even larger than Dongtai). Adults can choose from a variety of hot springs, and children also have plenty of pools to choose from! I personally love hotels with saunas and hot springs! Dongyuji's park is also quite large, so early risers won't have to worry about running out of space! There's even a camping area!

The location is in southern Taidung. Consider the fact that Taidung require 2hour driving from north to south, this location make it little difficult to see northern Taidung attractions. But the hot spring in this town is the best. The hot spring in this hotel use genuine underground hot spring water, your skin can feel the difference while enjoying it.

A well-maintained old hotel, perfect for families with young children enjoying hot springs and vacations; good value for money. The beverage and snack area next to the lobby is very popular and always crowded. The hot spring water is so clean you can enjoy it even from your room. The biggest drawback is the poor soundproofing; when families with friends or family are on vacation, the kids can be noisy even at 10 pm, making it a bit disturbing.

Room rate $3545/The lady at the front desk who checked in that day had a grumpy face but no smile at all (this is our second stay, but there won't be a third time). It's acceptable to be told that there are no disposable amenities, but what's unacceptable is that after entering the room, I found that there were no disposable or reusable slippers, so I called the front desk to tell them. She said that she needed slippers and they were not cheap, 60-80 each, which is ridiculous. (The lady said it was because his slippers were thick). There are carpets inside. Do you want us to walk barefoot? The carpets don’t look very clean. Of course we have to wear our outdoor shoes to walk around in the room. It is very inconvenient, especially after taking a shower. We really need to report this to the owner. Since you are responding to the government’s activities, you also have to consider the actual internal conditions of your hotel and not cause any inconvenience to the guests! I also suggest that there is a small afternoon tea room on the first floor which serves some powdered coffee drinks and simple and cheap biscuits. I think it can be removed

1. The landlady was very kind and upgraded me from a 4-person room to a connecting room, and even gave me two extra large bottles of mineral water. 2. The guesthouse is located in a building, like a shared apartment. 3. The hot spring was very comfortable, but there were some dark impurities in the bathtub; I'm not sure if this is normal. 4. The bed was comfortable, but frankly, the equipment was quite old. 5. Parking is nearby, very convenient. 6. There are several restaurants and snack shops nearby, so you won't go hungry. (For breakfast, I strongly suggest not calling to order from a breakfast shop for convenience; buy directly from the shop to see the cleanliness.) 7. The Zhiben Forest Recreation Area is nearby, a short drive away.

The hotel's special hot springs are really good, I think the public hot springs are very good, but the bathroom is really smelly and dirty. But the room is really old, it is for the soup house on the ground floor, there are external scenery windows, but not next to the public hot springs that were originally expected. The counter said that it helped me upgrade, but I didn't feel too upgraded. It felt like I originally booked it. Breakfast is also ordinary, the overall cleanliness feels poor, the trail can not go And I feel that the staff are a bit not very familiar, the old bird at the counter is called the rookie to introduce, the rookie introduced the stammering

The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic, and they were happy to chat and helped me prepare breakfast (I didn't order food that day). The room is on the first floor. Although it is not big, there is no less, but the door is facing the kitchen. People who are used to getting up late may hear the sound of breakfast.
