The room was impressively big and spacious. Amenities were all clean and brand new. Overall just lack of some daily essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste which you will have to pay 50NTD per set due to sustainability practices. Overall will stay again when back in KS.

Great location, and a rare find in Fengjia with its own parking! The cleanliness was good too. However, the air conditioning vent blew directly onto my head, which was a really strange design choice. Luckily, I was able to cool the room down first, then turn off the AC and sleep comfortably enough.

I stayed here many years ago. When my friends visited Taiwan from abroad, we booked this hotel because it's incredibly close to Fengjia Night Market – literally a hundred meters downstairs and you're in! So, convenience was the main draw. The environment is also pretty good. The rooms are small, tiny even! But that doesn't detract from the overall experience.

The front desk was extremely helpful. They provided a clothing steamer, late check-in, late check-out, luggage storage, and advice on the area.
My room was spotless and cleaned daily. They provided slippers, water machine, shampoo, soap, and body wash, and anything else you needed could be borrowed from the front desk. Great location that was quiet at night but just a block away from the busy night market. Would love to stay again.

There were mosquitoes on the bedsheets. The wallpaper in the corner was bubbling. The corner of the desk was moldy. The air conditioning had a slight musty smell. The shower water pressure was unstable, and it kept switching between hot and cold. There was a pair of slippers under the bed that didn't belong to me. The sink in the bathroom had some black unknown substance and an odor.
On the positive side, you can borrow extra pillows, and the location is super convenient. If you're not particular about cleanliness, you might consider staying here.

I booked a king-sized room for myself. The room was quite spacious, with a coffee table, armchair, and a desk. Besides the luggage area, there was plenty of room to move around.
The bed was indeed king-sized; it felt like three people could comfortably fit on it.
The bathroom and toilet were separated, a nice wet/dry design.
Overall, the room and the hotel's interior felt very clean. I stayed for two days and didn't notice any hygiene issues.
The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, providing excellent natural light in the morning.
The hotel offers many interesting facilities. There's a late-night snack service, a hot stone spa (Ganbanyoku), and even gaming pods available for rent. Each floor has a water dispenser, and even-numbered floors have sparkling hydrogen water dispensers, which is quite unique.
The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Fengjia Night Market, making it very convenient to visit. There's also a convenience store right opposite. However, for getting to other areas, a taxi would be more convenient.

KKel5655I stay in Taichung once a week, and if the price and room type are within budget, this is the only place I'll ever stay! The location, room design, and facilities are all excellent, and my wife and kids absolutely love it! Every time I stay in a different room type, I'm never disappointed. I really hope the garage rooms could also be around 1800. It's truly amazing, I give it a very high rating.

CCecilia PorThis was my 3rd time staying here. Very near to railway station & foodcourt nearby. Room is clean but quite small & limited space if you have larger luggage. However, the breakfast is delicious & it's healthier choice during our stay this round. The service staff is very polite & courteous at all time. The reception staff even have the record which I stayed before. There is also a waiting area with seats & table for guests with relaxing music being played. A small area for younger kids too. A good choice for hotel accommodation if you plan to visit Taichung.

GGuest UserOverall, I was quite disappointed.
Right from check-in, the staff couldn't find my reservation, and they even asked for my surname in English, and the number and gender of guests, which was a bit odd.
I noticed a lot of things because I was waiting for my luggage in the lobby for a very long time. The seating area around the art installation in the lobby was dusty, especially the back rows, and the outdoor area was full of fallen leaves.
While I was busy with my child and family arranging crafts, my luggage had already been taken to the room. When I realized I needed my carry-on bag, the staff said they would retrieve it from the room for me (we hadn't even checked into the room yet). I had a carry-on with my child's daily essentials, and my child needed to use the restroom. So, we waited in the lobby for that bag for nearly 20 minutes.
Regarding the other facilities, the welcome tea was incredibly simple. The window in our room had large water stains on the glass (I initially thought it was fog). Below our room, there was an area with weeds and what looked like abandoned moss, which felt out of place. It seemed like the most effort the hotel put in was the gardening, and I couldn't understand why this particular area existed; it was a huge contrast.
Considering all meal costs are extra, it really didn't offer good value for money at all. The food, however, was very good, and the laundry service was a plus. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming.
If the room rates were lower, I might consider revisiting. But if the prices and facilities remain as they are, I won't be returning.

GGuest UserThe rooms were huge and very art deco styled. Very ostentatious and gawdy. Loved it, and it was a great private experience. Also, each of the upgraded rooms has a personal car garage that attaches directly to the room, very nice touch.

GGuest UserCheck-in at 4 PM was a bit late, but the Taichung Park nearby was a nice bonus. It's within walking distance of the Yizhong Street Night Market. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's great that there's a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so I slept very well. I highly recommend this place.

There's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, though the night market is a bit of a walk, about 30 minutes. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can rent a scooter directly across the street, making it super convenient to get around.

Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior.
Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly.
Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays – it is a hotel, after all.
Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

AAnonymous UserThe room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
