Hotels near Beitun District, Taichung

What more can I say? This is our fourth or fifth stay at this hotel. We usually stay for one to two weeks, and it has become our go-to place. We’ve tried other hotels, but as they say, “comparison is easy once you’ve had a taste of perfection.” This hotel is simply perfect for us. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating and truly embody the meaning of hospitality. The location is excellent—peaceful and not crowded—yet very close to coffee shops like Starbucks and our new favorite, Donutes. Overall, this is an easy 11/10. Highly recommended! Excellent stay in Zhong Ke hotel. Room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed and pillow. I had my parcel delivered much earlier than expected. Luckily the hotel receptionist help me to keep until my arrival. Really appreciate that!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Taichung Railway Station. Miyahara Eye Hospital is also nearby. There's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, though the night market is a bit of a walk, about 30 minutes. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can rent a scooter directly across the street, making it super convenient to get around.

The location is good. It's a 20-minute walk to Yizhong Street. There are also several bus lines downstairs connecting to attractions. The front desk staff were very friendly. Check-in is self-service, but the staff were very helpful in answering any questions. The price is reasonable. The only downsides were the presence of many cockroaches, and the comforters and pillows didn't seem to be changed frequently. If these improvements can be made, I will definitely stay here again.

This was an 8-day stay, and overall, the service and attention to detail were very impressive, offering excellent value for money! **📍 Transportation and Location** On March 31st, I took the Taichung Metro to 'Wenhua Senior High School Station' and found that the hotel is very close to the metro station. There are also bus stops nearby, making the surrounding area very convenient. If you need parking, the hotel offers free parking for cars and motorcycles, just remember to inform them in advance after booking or by phone. **🛎️ Service and Lobby Facilities** Upon arriving at the entrance, as the main door isn't automatic, a front desk staff member immediately and enthusiastically came to help open the door and assist with my luggage, refusing any tips. This left a fantastic first impression! The lobby is spacious, simple, and stylish, integrated with the dining area. The best part is the abundant free self-service bar! There are various snacks, cookies, instant noodles, a microwave, water dispenser, an assortment of tea bags, freshly brewed coffee beans, and mixed beverages. Even before check-in, you can comfortably relax here. The lobby also has public restrooms, which is very convenient. **🛏️ Guest Rooms and Public Areas** The guest room corridor has a large water dispenser (offering ice-cold, warm, and hot water). Upon entering my room, I found it to be very spacious, with city street views outside the window. The room had its own free Wi-Fi, and it was meticulously clean and tidy. On the 9th floor, there are coin-operated laundry and drying services. Although the equipment isn't top-notch, the charges are reasonable, and they generously provide free laundry detergent. This was extremely practical for my long stay. **🛁 Bathroom Facilities (Pros and Suggestions)** ✅ **Pros**: Equipped with a washlet toilet, non-slip mats, and floor cloths. Non-slip grab bars are also installed on both sides of the bathtub, showing great attention to safety details. Furthermore, the placement of the toilet paper is superb! You can reach it by simply turning to your left-back while sitting on the toilet, without needing to stand up at all. ❌ **Cons and Suggestions**: The bathroom doesn't have a wet/dry separation. It would be better if a shower curtain could be added. Additionally, there are no waterproof covers on the power outlets in the toilet. This could be dangerous if accidentally touched with wet hands. I hope the hotel can look into improving this. **💡 Other Minor Incidents and Services** The double bed I slept on was made by combining two single mattresses, and I noticed a lack of support when sleeping on the seam in the middle. Also, the air conditioning in the room could only adjust the fan speed, not the temperature. As I tend to feel hot, I reported this to the front desk. The hotel staff were exceptionally quick and efficient, providing an electric fan, which I used in conjunction with the strongest AC setting. This perfectly solved the stuffiness issue – excellent crisis management! Thumbs up! Overall, the minor flaws don't overshadow the positives. The staff's enthusiasm and the abundant free snack bar are huge bonuses! I highly recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Taichung for leisure or business.

I had a lovely stay. The location is great. The lady at the check in counter was so polite and friendly. Because of her I will be back. There is lovely pasta restaurant next door. The room was not huge but spacious enough and the fridge was nice and cold. Would recommend staying here.

The location is convenient, and you can find food just by walking. The most important thing is that the parking lot is just opposite, which is very convenient. You don't have to worry about the problem of not having a parking space. In the morning, steamed eggs and simple toast bread will be placed in the lobby for you to bake and take away. There are also coffee bags for you to take. In the affordable accommodation price, the overall CP value is quite good.

The common areas are spacious and comfortable, and having a coffee machine available at all times is fantastic. They even offer free instant noodles after 10 PM, and you can eat as much as you want until 11 PM! Plus, there are movies to watch. Perfect! 😍

The location is right next to the Xintiandi restaurant, which makes it very convenient to eat. The breakfast is also very considerate and delivered to the garage. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the Hanxi Night Market. The air-conditioning in the room is very cold. The only drawback is that the hot water in the bathtub is a little small and flows a little slowly.
