Hotels near Wulongtan Park, Jinan

The hotel is right next to Baotu Spring, within walking distance. It's very quiet at night, and I even got a room upgrade when I checked in late. Next door is Ma Jia Quanshui Baozi, a famous steamed bun shop in Jinan, so I didn't book breakfast at the hotel. Instead, I went there early in the morning to queue up and got my food quickly, but don't expect too much. They even gave me a small gift when I checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. It's also not far from Jinan High-Speed Railway Station.

The room was great, and the hot water was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to Baotu Spring and Five Dragon Springs, and Black Tiger Pool is just a short bike ride away. The staff were very welcoming, and since there were plenty of rooms available, we were able to check in early. A very good experience.

The room was clean and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast spread was excellent, and I particularly loved the freshly made rice noodles – my mom and I each had two bowls! The staff, especially one of the ladies, was very attentive and even upgraded us to a room with a window. The coffee at the front desk was surprisingly good, definitely recommend trying it. The best part is that Baotu Spring is within walking distance, just around the corner, which was incredibly convenient when traveling with elderly parents.

Overall, it was a good stay. The front desk staff, both young women and men, were very friendly and welcoming. On the first floor, there's a book bar and a kids' play area, where you can also get water. There are plenty of seats, showing a nice touch of hospitality. I stayed in a south-facing room with a view of Quancheng Square and the east gate of Baotu Spring. The sound insulation facing the street wasn't great, but earplugs were provided. If you're not used to Shandong cuisine, I'd advise against trying the stir-fried pork kidneys nearby; 'bazimeat' (braised pork) might be a better option. There's a restaurant on the top floor with a good view, but I didn't get to try it due to time constraints. It's close to all the attractions, especially the east gate of Baotu Spring, which is only about 200 meters on foot. There are also many bus routes nearby. My decision to choose this hotel based on its location was definitely correct. Getting a taxi or ride-share was quite difficult, as Quancheng Square is often heavily congested, and rickshaws are scarce. It's best to walk or take the bus. Taxis intentionally take longer routes to overcharge, which leaves a very negative impression on the city's tourism and business environment.

My stay at this hotel left me with a strong impression of comfort and consistency. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around whether for sightseeing or business commitments, and the layout of the common areas allows smooth circulation without ever feeling crowded. The rooms are peaceful, with firm, supportive bedding that ensures restful sleep and very good soundproofing that effectively blocks out external noise. Cleanliness is consistently high, even in the busiest areas, which reflects serious, professional day-to-day management. The staff are discreet yet genuinely attentive and responsive whenever a specific request is made. Breakfast offers a solid, straightforward selection of well-prepared items – perfectly suited to a busy travel schedule. The modest work areas are more than adequate for preparing documents or taking calls without any real inconvenience. Overall, this hotel provides a well-balanced setting that combines tranquility, convenience, and reliable services. For anyone who values stability and functionality above all, it fully meets the essential expectations.

This trip to Jinan stayed at the Haojia Hotel, and the experience exceeded expectations! The location is excellent and it is very convenient to travel to attractions. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was good, and the rest was particularly safe. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is efficient and fast, and the demand response is timely. The facilities are complete and practical, the details are intimate, the price is very high, the overall warmth and comfort, I will choose here next time I come to Jinan, I really recommend it to everyone!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of great food options nearby, and it's super close to all the attractions, making it really convenient to get around. They even offered a warm sun tea upon check-in, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.

Yuantuo Hotel is part of the Jinjiang group. I researched it for a long time before booking because I was traveling alone and needed to balance price and safety. Reviews were mixed, so I'll share my objective experience as a reference for others: The main reason I chose this hotel was its location. If, like me, you want convenient access to attractions and dining, Yuantuo is an excellent choice – you can completely overlook any other minor issues. It's a five-minute walk to the North Gate of Baotu Spring and across the road from Wulongtan Park. Nearby, there are many popular eateries like Ma Jia Quan Shui Baozi (steamed buns), Tianmo (sweet gruel), beef pancakes, and various restaurants, all within a 5-15 minute walk. Because of its superb location, I was able to enter Baotu Spring at 7 AM when it opened, take my photos, and leave by 9 AM before the crowds arrived. In the evening, I also saw the lantern show at Wulongtan Park and tried many different snacks. Specifically: First, the value for money is very good. Among economy hotels, it's quite balanced in all aspects. I stayed in an interior-facing room, which felt a bit enclosed. Although the curtains are usually drawn in winter and the in-room ventilation is quite good – it wasn't too noticeable since I was out sightseeing all day and only slept there. I personally like quiet and enclosed spaces. If you're particular about this and prefer a room with a view, I wouldn't recommend booking an interior-facing room. Second, the facilities are quite modern and relatively new. The shower space is a bit small. It might be a little awkward for two people showering as there isn't much buffer space; you need to exit the bathroom to get dressed in front of the mirror. The cleanliness was good, and the bedding was clean and changed promptly. A quick suggestion: I recommend providing a standard electric kettle in the room, as the current one is very difficult to use. Third, the service was excellent. Requesting a late check-out and redeeming points for breakfast were both very convenient. The breakfast was surprisingly good, not much worse than those at All Seasons or Atour, with a rich variety. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. Aside from still not being entirely accustomed to the interior-facing room, I was generally quite pleased.

The room was incredibly clean, spotless in every corner, which was a real pleasure to see. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, just like sleeping in my own bed. The toiletries had a lovely scent, and the shower had amazing water pressure, washing away all the day's fatigue. For this price point, getting such a clean and comfortable room is truly outstanding value for money. I'll definitely be coming back!

An amazing courtyard guesthouse! It's located in Jinan's Qifang Alley, a cultural and tourism district newly named after the Mingfu City renovation. It boasts the ancient charm of Jinan's old city lanes and traditional alley culture, and is incredibly close to Furong Street, Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and Wulongtan. The old city of Springs has a strong atmosphere of local life and rich cultural heritage, yet the facilities are all very modern. The experience was fantastic! The courtyard is also great for photos. Nearby, there's Guihe and two other excellent malls whose names I can't recall. You can even explore the old town on a shared bike and come back for a midday nap – couldn't be more satisfied! It perfectly met my expectations for travel amenities in a provincial capital. Actually, I really wanted to stay in another unit, the starlit double-story loft. It would be great for two adults and two children – but it gets booked up fast!
