As a university student traveling solo, I found this place excellent. Even though it's a dormitory, they provide shampoo, body wash, a hairdryer, a bath towel, and a face towel, which was really convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary snacks and bottled water. The common area was clean and spacious. It's located near the bustling Ximen area but remarkably quiet, making for a very satisfying stay. At night, you'll need to enter through the back of the building and take the elevator on the left up to the 9th floor.

I had a really enjoyable stay at MeWorld of Taipei, and overall it was a very positive experience from start to finish. The accommodation was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable place to come back to after long days exploring the city. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and well organized, which immediately gave me peace of mind. One of the highlights for me was the convenience of the location. Getting around Taipei was easy, with public transport, food options, and convenience stores all within walking distance. This made daily planning very flexible, whether I was heading out early in the morning or returning later at night. The area felt safe and lively, yet quiet enough to rest properly. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Any questions I had were answered patiently, and communication was smooth and clear. Check‑in and check‑out were straightforward and hassle‑free, which is something I really appreciate when traveling. It’s clear that the team takes pride in keeping the place comfortable and pleasant for guests. The room itself was comfortable, tidy, and suitable for resting or working, with everything I needed for a short or longer stay. The environment was calm and relaxing, making it easy to sleep well despite being in a busy city like Taipei. I also appreciated how clean the common areas were, showing good attention to hygiene and maintenance. Overall, MeWorld of Taipei offers great value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a smooth stay experience. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taipei and would happily recommend it to friends, whether they are traveling solo, with family, or for work.

The lobby, hallways, and rooms were all quite clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. The only downside is that the soundproofing is a bit poor; you can clearly hear music from the upstairs room, and it's pretty loud. If you don't mind that, I'd still recommend it.

The location is very convenient with the Simen MRT just a short walk away. It's good if one plans to use the MRT frequently. It's easy to walk around the whole Simending area from the hotel. Did not try any food at the hotel as one is spoilt for choice in terms of food from the Ximending area. The air-conditioner was not working properly from the first day, as it was very warm and couldn't be adjusted. Called for someone to take a look and was told they would come immediately. Waited but no one came. Called again and was told they would come by later. We were going out and they reassured us that their service staff would come by accompanied by another staff. Shortly after the call, the service staff arrived, unaccompanied. It was just as well we had not left. The room is big but the design has not been well thought out. The sink is located outside the bathroom. Its design (low sink) and mirror behind means, when one uses it to wash face etc water is splashed around and the floor gets wet. However, the hotel does not provide any more towels other than those given so one has to move the floor towel(mat) between the bathroom and the sink outside. The lighting system is also not very convenient. We had 2 double beds but there was no way to control the lighting so that if one party wanted to sleep, the other party could read. The TV system (with the box hidden behind the TV itself) frequently had signal issues. It was common to be unable to change the channel or the signage No signal would appear frequently either early in the morning or late at night. We also had a bathroom where the floor just in front of the WC had a slight damage in the form of a black patch which however looked very unsightly. It would have been good if the hotel had done something to make it look better as it left a poor impression. We had requested for a quiet room. Unfortunately, almost every night/morning there were people talking loudly or kids shouting. Overall, if one does not plan to spend time in the bathroom, it would be a good choice just for the location and convenience.

Gotten a basement room, the room is clean but kinda small to open up the luggage. Also because it's basement room, there is a constant musky smell emitting from the toilet and filled up the room pretty fast. Have request for a change of room but it is similar issue. Overall it's a comfortable stay near XMD but the room smell is pretty bad.

I stayed alone in a double room, and the price was incredibly affordable—about the same as a hostel. The space is quite compact, so it might be a bit inconvenient for two people with large suitcases. The soundproofing isn’t great; the girl in the room next door was talking loudly on and off from 1:00 to 4:00 AM, which was extremely noisy. I kept waking up and had a hard time sleeping. I recommend that the hotel kindly remind guests to keep their voices down during late-night hours. The location is super convenient—about a 6-minute walk from Ximen Station and Don Quixote. Even if you forget to bring toiletries, it’s not a problem, as the nearby shops stay open late. I also want to praise the front desk staff—they were genuinely kind and thoughtful. The room description was misleading. There's a window in the bathroom, but when you close the bathroom door, it's just like a windowless room. The showerhead was broken, and the room had a slight musty smell. The location is great, very convenient for transportation and close to Ximending. It's okay for a short, temporary stay. I had planned to extend my stay, but the price didn't match the living conditions, so I decided to switch to the nearby Sanyuan Hotel, which offers excellent living conditions, service, and value.

Worth it for its price. The location is super near the Ximending Walking District and other nearby convenience stores (711, Family Mart). It’s also near to the famous places like The Red House, etc. Easy access to MRT. For the room, we booked a standard double room, requested for a windowed room & bathtub since we have an infant so it’s easy for us to take a bath, and our request was granted. They also have housekeeping everyday to replenish tissue and change towels (also beddings if you wanted to have them changed, but they support ecological cleanliness, so ideally, they just change sheets after your entire stay for the new guest/s). For the ambiance, it was ok, too. Simple. The only con that I experienced during our stay was- that the soundproofing isn’t good. You can hear the water drops from another room’s CR and heavy footsteps from above. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Will still recommend it if you’re not too picky and sensitive and wanted to stay on a budget. 👍🏻

Despite being in a bustling area, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a great night's sleep. The amenities were thoughtful, and the free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. In summary: If you are looking for a hotel in Taipei with a perfect location in Ximending, clean and stylish rooms, but most importantly, a team that delivers exceptional, world-class hospitality, look no further than Hotel B6. The staff’s dedication to superb service is truly commendable and made our trip to Taiwan unforgettable! We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

The location is right in the middle of Ximending Walking District. The rooms were spacious enough although the walls are thin. The checkin was fast and automated. There are no receptionists to assist you. I was amazed by the check in machine actually. There are free water refill and coffee in the lobby. It was a decent experience for budget travellers.
