Rooms and common areas were tidy and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you are staying at a budget property. The location is excellent. It is situated very close to a metro station, which makes getting around Taipei very convenient. For travelers planning to explore the city using public transport, the location works very well. Service was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. In terms of amenities, travelers should manage expectations. The hotel provides the basics but not everything you might find in a full-service hotel. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries as only minimal items are provided in the room. Breakfast is simple and delivered as a packed option, typically something like a sandwich or a burger-style item. It is basic but perfectly adequate. One nice touch is that the hotel offers free coffee throughout the day from a coffee machine and complimentary snacks such as chips and crackers at the reception area. They also provide bottled water upon request. Overall, this is not a luxury or fancy hotel, but for budget travelers it is a very practical and comfortable choice. If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean, well located, and run by friendly staff, Tai Hope Hotel is a solid option."

"I had a wonderful experience at The Tango. The location is truly superb, just a short, two-minute walk from the Nanjing Fuxing MRT station, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city and reach major attractions. What really stood out was the service. The reception team is exceptionally friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and were always available to assist with any requests. The combination of such a convenient, central location and such high-quality, personal service makes this hotel a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Taipei."

"The location is great, with many food options nearby. It's very close to the MRT station, and you can get directly to Ximending, making it convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety to choose from."

"First off, the hotel's location is excellent for business travelers, just a three-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including the famous Lin Dong Fang Beef Noodles within walking distance, and convenience stores are practically on every corner – super handy. The hotel's front desk and restaurant staff are warm, professional, and efficient with their service, and the cleaning staff are also very thorough, leaving a great impression. The hotel's decor and facilities are also good, and having air purifiers in the hallways is a huge plus. The breakfast quality and taste are also quite good. If I had to mention a downside, the rooms are a bit small. However, for this price in Taipei, it's already excellent value for money and completely acceptable. Another issue was the central air conditioning vent, which had a lot of dust. After I noticed it, I didn't dare turn on the A/C, so I opened the window for ventilation. To my surprise, mosquitoes got in, and I was bitten awake in the middle of the night. It would be even better if they provided a liquid mosquito repellent by the bedside. Overall, it's a great value hotel, and its strengths far outweigh its minor flaws. It's definitely worth recommending."

"This hotel is perfectly located if you're using Songshan Airport! It's super quick to get there, just two stops away. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the subway is only a 5-minute walk. Plus, it wasn't far to other tourist attractions either!"

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful – very clean and sophisticated. Both at breakfast and during happy hour, the staff constantly kept the food display spotless. I don't think I've ever seen a hotel maintain such a high level of cleanliness so consistently. Some of the front desk staff also speak Japanese. Both breakfast and happy hour were delicious. While there wasn't a toothbrush in the room (which is common in Taiwan across all hotels), other amenities were plentiful. The four kinds of welcome fruit in the room were also tasty. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway exit. There are also many Japanese restaurants and a Daiso nearby. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Taipei."

"I stayed at this hotel because I had a 7 AM flight from Matsuyama Airport. It's a small room, truly just a place to sleep. However, the bathroom and the bed were clean, and I slept comfortably. The corner of the bed in the photo looks messy because I pulled back the sheets to check for bugs. There's a FamilyMart nearby, so food and drinks weren't an issue. Matsuyama Airport is also within walking distance."
